In older versions of SimCity the powerlines didn't look like high-voltage powerlines. In SimCity 4, you'll have to use a separate power supply for every rural development when you don't want to disfigure your landscape with huge ugly masts. The SFBT rural powerlines will make this obsolete. You can use them along a road or straight across the country. Since the base texture of this lots is transparent, they will match with any terrain texture you have installed. Important note: The powerlines can only be used on perfectly flat terrain, otherwise the props won't align anymore.

Tenzwood | here we are 3 years later, me having just found this. Looks great, and I\'ve always felt that the default ones were more of a...MASSIVE power line then just your normal powerline | 2010-01-07 |

City Builder | Just wanted to say thanks. I do realize that this item was uploaded 5/2007 but I\'ve just found it after just about pulling my hair out looking for something like this to replace the large unsightly power high voltage lines that ships with the game. So thanks very much. | 2008-01-31 |
EDGE4194 | These are a great idea, but i never seem to have enough perfectly flat terrain to use them. I sure wish there was a way to make these draggable and slope conforming. | 2007-06-16 |
