In the wild at last!

As best I know, this is the first pic of draggable triple track rail (TTR) from a starter piece.  Development will now proceed.  BTW, I'm just posting the pic after sorting the starter piece out.  The real work has all been done by Jonathan, Alex (Tarkus), and in particular my fellow Dave (superhands).  The new content I've been working on will show up here shortly.

I'm seeing the 3RR Team start to check in.  I'll be publishing a revised quad assignment map this weekend.

WTR?  Wide track rail?... don't know.

There's always someone working on something new.  That's one of the great things about this site.

Oh, and speaking of working on stuff...

Oh David, you always come back with the best of goodies! And just as I'm designing a commuter rail system too...

WTR does indeed stand for Wide-Track Rail.  Basically, it's TTR with the middle track removed--I believe Dave (superhands) created it for use as a filler for transitions between DTR and TTR.

That there TTR curve looks quite nice--it's good to see SC4D's veritable "skunk works" here at 3RR going again.

Nice to finally see some 3 Tracking in SC4 , can you guys make a 4 track tile so i can recreate the Northeast Corridor?

Very cool to see more work in Sim city mods :)

dedgren

Oh, what the heck!

Back to some collaboration stuff over the weekend, but I've also finished the ortho to diag TTR wide curve, and switches and crossovers won't be far behind.

'Nite, everyone.

Hey, glad to see you back :)
Very interesting rails you have here. I would like to know how the trains will move on those tracks. I mean, the edge tracks are one way and the middle one is double way?

Welcome back, David!
I see you immediately jumped into your old fashion of stunning everybody with your speed and accuracy.

But if I may: you shocked us all with your news so many months ago. We all thought of you and the hard times we imagined you were going through.
Maybe you feel like lifting a tip of what has happened to you and your beloved?
Let me be clear: there is no way that I think we have the right to know. The only right we have is to accept what you give to us or what others give each other. But curiosity and compassion make me ask. And if the answer is "It's none of your business" I will accept that.

I just hope you and your beloved are all fine.

It looks like it would be a TTR A1-Type switch, if the RHW 5.0 nomenclature were to be applied.  There will even be FARR TTR, of all things.  It's good to see the stakes being pounded again.

Took a break from some briefing I'm doing...

These are happening faster than I'd thought.  Oh, and digging through the past work I found this.

Is there still any interest in it?  It might be fairly easy to translate over to TTR, as well.
