this great stuff and all (GOD I WANT THAT MONORAIL STATION, cant someone ask someone from simtropolis to email them the frikin model?!?!?!?!)   but how bout some japanese residential houses?  pleaz... need monorail.....

I'm talking about the monorail in your topic. in the search, if you search for monorail, it's the first thing that comes up. But I wanted to know, if you know anything about Japanese Resdiential Homes. I saw a set of packs, but the links have been locked and can't be used.  It's here

Uhhh... You talking to me, davsot?  Sorry - I'm not trying to be difficult, but I have no idea what monorail you are talking about...

The link you posted is to Kei's Japanese tileset replacement mod, which is a long-term project to replace Maxis default buildings with Japanese equivalents. Kei's mod comes with a lengthy warning to "use at your own risk," however all of his works posted on the page you linked to function and can be downloaded and used, with the exception of the first two (I don't know the reason). The building each one replaces is shown on the download page for each item. NOTE: You must use Internet Explorer to view the site properly.

His works are over write with MAXIS defoult Lots.

Yes, I was talking about KEI's houses, I looked through these pages, but I couldn't find out anything about tilesets.

I also assume this won't be CAM-patible, because it also overrides Maxis lots...

Which is kind of a shame, because I really do like those houses (in fact, I can't wait for R$$ to be done). If they were done only on a single tileset (plz let it be the NY one ), then it'd be very nice...

thanks for sharing these great Japanese BAT's! 

Now I have a question about KEI's residential sets. I have downloaded them and the needed dependencies and copied them to my plugins folder, but they don't show up in game. I tried all tilesets and I don't use any "Maxis Building Blocking Mod". I also checked the Lot-Editor, but all Maxis-Lots that should be replaced according to the pages you posted are still there...
Did I miss something obvious you have to do with Lots that replace Maxis-Lots?
