O_o is that some sort of an über-tank there? Or would it best be described as a semi-mobile über-cannon? ;D

As the filename says it should be the "Schwere Gustav", built between 1937 and 1941 by Krupp in Nazi Germany. With a total weight of 1350 tons, a range of 47km and an overall lenght of 47,3m, the barrel was 32,4m, a caliber of 800mm, it was together with "Dora" the largest weapon in the world.
It wasn't a complete railway gun because they needed seperate railway tracks. Only the material, barrel, granates etc, were transported via railway.
Dora possibly never shot.
I think Dora and Gustav were nearly identically, here is a picture:

I know that you haven't finished with Gustav yet, but I would think about the front as you can see in the picture. There are three axes till the axes get covered, in your picture more than four. The cannon is also longer than yours in the picture  ;)

Thanks guys for all your comments....really appriciate them all. Some of the projects are awailable on the STEX,some are put on hold. I'm currently working
on some socialist projects for my CJ...here is one of them....a department store  based off of RL building....it's allmost finish,only the roof texture left

I really like this building!  :thumbsup: Grim, harsh and concrete grey, just the way we want it! I would suggest adding some more roof junk as the roof looks a bit bare, otherwise great.

Decided to try something new today...so i made a water tower...after 2 hours of work it's ready for rendering

Thanks to you all....the space under the tank is actually a restaurant....the tower was disconnected from the network a few years before the war and used as a restaurant only.........here is a new department store,just finished it...

Thanks guys,glad you like it...i'm thinking of making one more department store, but for now here is something i've been working on for over a month now. It's the largest residential building in serbia, and probably one of the largest in europe

vester: i've made ground floor a little higher,about 1m...i don't think i should make it higher or wider becouse that would change the whole look of the building.

Nuce building. Looks like a 60s/early 70s department store, which we have alot of here in Sweden.  :thumbsup: I also like the fact that it isn't huge, so it will fit in mid sized/smaller towns.

Thanks guys....finally some good new....i've resolved rendering issues so i hope to be able to release the first complex by the weekend. I've also started on a new, smaller project...also a commie from Novi Beograd so here is what i got so far

Really, really nice work. I think the socialist building style is one of the most overlooked here.

I was in Cracow this summer and saw some really nice Soviet/Socialist buildings.

This one cought my eye though:

To be honest i have no idea if it's based on a real building or not, but it will be office in SC4. And the block is about 250m long. Maybe a bit too long for the game but  i'm trying to recreate Blok37 in Novi Beograd as accurate as it can be in the game. All the BATs are at the same stag as showe above so here is something old that i'm working on from time to time....Palace Albania

But the City hall above is actually recreation of an office building, so when i decide to release them it will be released as a office not as a city hall...and yes...all of them will be released :))

As Simcitler said, creating some different rooftextures will increase the variety, even if only the colour is lighter or darker. These homes look very nice.

Thanks to you all, all your positive response really makes it worth the time and effort i've put into this set :) As for the roof texture, all those houses are recreations from my neighbourhood and all of them have the same roof. I wanted to make them just the way thay look in RL so that's why thay all have the same roof texture. I know that it would add to variety but since thay are all recreations i decided to go for the same roof texture on all of them. Anyway here is something i've wanted to make for a long time now....a small orthodox church :)

I really like your work, especially those wrehouses at the top of the page.  Is it possible to take that model and make various sizes, some smaller, more narrow and some much larger as well?  Also diferent colors and textures.  We seem to have a shortage of this type of warehouse.  I would be willing to help with the LOTting.  ;)
