Just a prelude: I am into creating oriental-themed city which I hope you can agree with me on and I add anime characters just for fun.
Additional notes: I am not sure about the image sizes, I hope they are all right. And I normally update with at least 20 images, so I hope it isn't too much.

I like what you have shown here and I'm eager to see more. As for picture size, 800x600+ is normal, and 1024 wide is about the maximum. If they are too wide, readers have to scroll to see the whole photo, and that isn't good.

What you can do is add width to the img tag:

Great start here &apls Sorry, I thought I'd commented earlier. You have a really unique and entertaining storytelling style and are a very skilled city builder. There are a lot of neat transportation systems, diagonal building, and appealing night pictures. Can I ask what the seawall you're using in the "coastal avenue" picture is?
Whoops. Sorry for being very inactive. I have been very busy with school and the student government. Also I would like to thank everyone who commented in this MD. :) Also, sad to report but the three cities I have been working on caught prop pox and now I am really quite disappointed. :'(
