Nice looking financial district there! The Commerz bank tower really fits well with the general aspect. Also nice military base you've shown in the first pictures.

Nice teaser and good job with the city center previously :thumbsup:  Plenty of nice Finnish buildings in your cities  ;)

Beautiful start to your MD! Your downtown looks very clean and organized. Have you considered using any NWM in it?

Did you plop or grow most of it? I also really like the Navy base. I hope you have plans to build up a nice military town around it.

Do you know what building that is in your navy base with the satellite dishes and radomes?

Very nice work on your Container Port.  I would suggest some roads or something in between some of those lots.  The container liner lines look a bit too long.  Other than that...love it.

Yes, very interesting looking intersection with the two tram lines. I assume the two of them turn ? If no, then you should put the station a few tiles away.

Also, blocks, another blocks is all I like, being myself a block fan ( both ingame and in real life) I can only say it was excellently wonderful.

Interesting interchange. i don't see the avenue y-stack used very often. And the windmills are a nice detail.

Great looking industrail port. 
The only thing that stands out as a little awkward for me is that long wall.  I think if it were not so two level and flat it may look better.  Maybe if the raod turned inward on a diagonal and there were some buildings on the other side of the road and a slight slope downwards the industrial port level it may look a little more realistic.
Just my two cents...

I liked this update as well as the previous one. As Raphael said, the park with the tram-in-roundabout is very ingenious. I'll steal you this idea! :D
The city itself is looking good with the big avenues, and all the trees. The square urban scheme you used is well done.
The area of the stadium as well. Though I would have used some diagonal fillers to allow pedestrian to pass from the parkings to the stadium directly. Just an idea.

Looking forward for the next update, and this time i'll not forget to leave a comment! :)

You're wall-to-wall areas are always nice, especially with all those parks  &apls  In picture #6 the road in the middle seems too small for such a wide area though--maybe replace it with an avenue, tram-in-avenue, or RD-6?

It´s been a while since I was around this forum, but I couldn´t help notice this nice MD.
Fantastic but slightly confusing to see streetnames from my homecity of Stockholm in a city with an englishsounding name but Polish subtitles...  ;D
Your cities are very nice to look at and I am weak fo european MDs, so this suits my taste perfectly.
I am however slightly sceptic to the mix of BATs in some of the screenies as they seem to be of different scale and richness of detail, but that is just my oppinion, feel free to build as You wish...

Judging from the names of the president and prime minister combined with several streetnames I suppose You have some connection to Sweden although You are currently in Poland?

These are busy days for everyone. . . and you know at SC4Devotion, most people want to take their time to say something useful. A thoughtful comment is worth a hundred quick ones.

That being said, I really enjoy the park in the first picture. Looks like part of a wonderful bike tour. Not sure of your treatment of game water, though. It seems the water level is a bit too low, or the transition to it too steep. I know how tough it is to handle that, though. One thing I wouldn't do is place the ship under that bridge. The gap is too narrow for that size of traffic, and the river not wide enough.

Looks like a great train station up north, though. I'd love to see it up close. I don't seem to recognize that BAT?

The row houses I really liked. Well you've built the residential area.  :)

The port I do not understand how these water edge the ships will deliver their goods. The stones interfere with the work.
Otherwise, great pictures again.  :thumbsup:

I think the transparency is a little overdone. It doesn't look very appealing in my opinion. I also agree with Dantes that these breakwaters don't make sense. Hope you don't mind some criticism; it's a bit of a contrast with the very good land scenes. :thumbsup:

The way you have done the tree-lined path at the top of the first picture is fantastic. Great attention to detail.

Port Andrews is second largest city in Goverland, with Sheford it creates Central Metropolitan Area - the largest urbanized area in whole Goverland. City is important industrial and transit centre. Here works Port Andrews International Seaport, which is one of the main seaports in Scandinavia. Port Andrews is located by Gotava (the largest river in Goverland). 4. As I said trains are major mean of transport in seaport. Modern freight station was built in 60's and modernized in 2008. On the photo You can see also warehouses of international cruise companies like Maersk Sealand, Gartner Logistisc, Hapag-Lloyd and P&O Nedlloyd.

5. Like Milleniumbron is main way for trucks, Central Tunel, built in 1952, is very important for trains which are delivering goods to Sheford, north Port Andrews and other parts of central and east Goverland.

6. As I said Port Andrews is very important transit centre. In whole city works many freight and container station like this, located on St. Barbara's Island, on edge of city centre. In tenements near stations and seaport lives on the whole poor people: Arabian imigrants, port workers, unemployed etc. For this reason island at night became very dangerous place when cars are burned and shops destroyed. Only in this year 34 cars was burned on island, 18 shops destroyed and 8 people murdered.

8. We are leaving island. Port Andrews hasn't large financial district like Sheford. Financial centre in city are offices located by Horagatan, near Milleniumbron. Hi guys! Thanks for all comments. Finally I've got something for you. I'd like to present Sheford - Freiburg Interantional Airport and neighborhood. Airport wasn't created by me, but by kbieniu7, creator of Kolbrów. I did only some corrections. However neighborhood of airport is my own creation. Sheford - Freiburg International Airport is situated east of the city by motorway M3. For now it is only airport in Goverland. But maybe it will change itself soon.

1. Sodesund is a district of Sheford located west of city centre and railway. Building of Sodesund conssist mainly of townhouses built at the beginning of 20th century, block of flats from 70s and some new apartment houses. Furthermore in this area are located some factories and warehouses. Sodesund is connected with city centre by two overpasses over railways and one rail crossing. In the district is also located station of Urban Rail System.

4. Home - tenements situated in Sodesund are first, which you can see if you come to Sheford city centre from western suburbs of the city. Before 2009 it was a ghetto of illegal immigrants, and this part of Sodesund was very dangerous place after dark. In years 2009 - 2010 tenements were revitalized and police carried out an action against local gangs and illegal immigrants. Currently those tenements are popular with students and artist. Anyway in this part of Sodesund still live many immigrants from Russia and Baltic countries, who are staying in Goverland legally.

6. Transport - Western Railway Line is a border between city centre and Sodesund. Everyday many citizens of this disrict rides a train to their workplace in other parts of city. Also Franzgatan and overpass over railway is important way, which connects Sodesund and western suburbs of Sheford with city centre and Financial district.

7. History - Before restructuring of industry, which took place in Goverland in 80s Sodesund was typical industrial district. That's why between elder buildings are located new estates. Formerly on plots, where are now located apartament houses, were industrial plants, demolished in 80s and 90s.

8. Workplace - warehouses located nearby Sheforder Western Central Station during the day are workplace for many citizens of Sodesund. However after dark it isn't a smart idea to venture between warehouses. Some people say, that one of them is a property of people connected with Sheforder Mafia...

9. Education - Sheford Economic University was founded in 1895 by few bussinesmen from Sodesund. Currently it is one of most prestigious Economic University in Scandinavia and whole Europe.

You really do a great job with all those green spaces and the selection of W2W buildings is perfect! I like that tall corner building in the middle of pic 4 in particular. The trains, trams, and roads look great as well though I'd suggest you try RRW for your rails. Looking forward to more  :thumbsup:

Sheford city centre - the end
It is three years and four months since I started creating Sheford, the first and the biggest city of well-known Goverland. Today the work is ended and the central part of Sheford is finally finished. Of course I still have to work on suburbs, but the core of the city is ready. Spotted a detail (well, the that's where the devil always is, isn't it? ::)) though, in pic 22: there are no overhanging embankment pieces under the road bridge - is there a particular reason as to why?

I do tend to see things vortext's way though, somehow my cities are never quite "finished" ;)  You've done a great job with the variety of different areas here and I'm looking forward to seeing more from the surrounding suburbs  :thumbsup:

Hello! Today I have for you another two pics from suburbs of Sheford. I'm currently working on west part of the city, and the pictures show Enskede and Sergelberg districts, which still are under construction. Enjoy! ;)
