Here's a downtown shot of a city that I deleted. Pop. was about 114,000

The city didn't turn out like I planned. Since it is surrounded by water on 2 sides and on a low elevation, I was going for a Miami/ New Orleans/ sunbelt city mix with beaches, heavy industrial ports, canals, modern downtown buildings, and sprawling suburbs, etc. I already started on that tile again and changed the terrain a bit. I'm waiting for the next NAM-NWM-RHW before I continue on that tile (county) though.

That's still really cool tho'. Must've taken you along time to build; shame it all went to waste.

The spacecraft needs hardware rendering, something that kills my game. So I prefer to leave this as it is. I guess that a funky spaceship is more interesting than a grey one

If I'm not mistaken, animated and moving objects must be under (i think) 24 polygons or else it doesn't work. aka- crashes your game.

this reminds me of downtown Salt Lake City, UT: a sterile, lifeless downtown surrounded by beautiful, vibrant neighborhoods.

The only building I lotted is the diagonal building at the bottom with the helicopter pad. The rest of the buildings were downloaded as is. I also lotted the grass/plaza tiles and I had to create a 1x1 CS$$ blank growable lot with a plaza base texture or else the bottom half of the diagonal avenue would have gotten a the grass overlay texture, giving a saw-tooth appearance.
