This is one whole world in a MD.  It's from over in the ST CJ section.. so I thought I'd bring it here. It covers rural areas to massive downtowns, to canal boats to escaped cows.. or pigs. It's my third CJ... and first MD. I'm still no good at this city building stuff  It's my biggest project yet...!

Hey everyone at SC4D...
Thanks for looking! I'm going to get this MD started with a mosaic.. it's nothing like what you'd find elsewhere... by the means that it's awful 
But... here it is! It's Highway 1's entrance to the South Tunnel of New New York. Note : New New York isn't anything like New York itself.. it's just it is based on a map that is New York... if that made sense....

Oh, a new MD, nice. You should take yourself a bit more time when makeing a mosaique, I can clearly see three steps in it.

The startup is okay, let's see how it develops

So.. Update 2 =) It's a teaser.. again. It's the region view of New New York so far. Here goes...

As you can see.. it's nowhere near complete....

I uploaded the region view to show you how far I am away from finishing this massive metropolis. It is expected to have a population of around 2 million Sims.

Hey guys! It's time for update 3!

This is a mega update 

This is about Grand Bridge - an area of central New New York. It is mainly a business centre.. but has some flats too.

Let's get started with the pictures! Hope you enjoy them!


The west area of town.


The tower on the right is one of the biggest in the area.


The highway leading to the suspension bridge.


The supension bridge. It was built to carry Highway 1 across the large river estuary.


Overlooking the west side of the river. People argue that it is New New York's CBD.


Part of a low-cost housing area.


The old arched bridge.


The old area of town.


Some flats/hi-rises.


The busiest road in town.


The area has lots of GLR. People are using it as a popular method of transport.


The highways are also used by a lot of traffic.


The highway curves around the hill.


Lots of strange designs have been popping up around the business area. This is a nightclub.


And to finish off.. a view of the area.

Next update... the Valley Ski Resort.

The Valley Ski Resort is located in Vorland, and is owned by the massive company 'Ski Mountain'.

When these pictures were taken, it was a very snowy day.


The main building.


There are several ski lifts to the top.


There is a ski school for beginners.


The summit.


The run twists its way down the mountain.


The rentals shop.


The snow started to get so bad, the cameraman had to go inside to some shelter. This is the view during the blizard.

Today's Halloween special!

It's the myth of Karkcity's mansion in front of the CBD.
Enjoy!


About 150 years ago, a lovely and spacious mansion was built in a small woodland near Karkcity. The owner loved the house and never let anyone near it. 100 years later, the house was still in the family's posession. The house was one of the most important things to them.
They didn't want anything to happen to it or it's surroundings.


Then, one cold night, some developers walked down the driveway.
They needed permission to build a new business area around the mansion. The owner declined, saying nothing was to ever happen to the house.
Years later, the owner moved to live with family elsewhere, and the house was left empty.
The developers saw this as their chance, and construction started; against the previous owner's wish.







Twenty years later, the construction was complete.













However, the house was in a state of disrepair. It was said to be haunted with several ghosts from the house's past. It was a place to avoid.

Once the area was completed and the businesses moved in, lots of strange incidents occurred around it including crashes and strange noises.

The house looked like this:








The house was a place to avoid. No one has gone near it or even looked at it to this day.

Man, New New York  I too have a city called that, though my map is way bigger.
So far it's looking good with your first MD. I wish you good luck. And if you need any inspiration, then watch some Futurama  . It also takes place in a little city called New New York

Today's update features Grand Bridge again. It has 3 pictures and a mega mosaic.


A train passes the CBD.


Construction in the bottom right.


The railway line nears the station.


That's all for the pictures, I'm afraid. But, now... behold.. the mosaic! It's a massive 3MB JPEG, and it may take a while to load, but don't give up!
