I'm throwing these updates as quickly as I can, so Devotion could be on same level with ST. In ST, Qaddro is on page 15 allready with good comment - view ratio. I give repliesa after there is more of them. And this one is full update - all pics from ST.
Ruoholahden Elämyspuisto or Ruoholahti Amusment Park or RE is located in the end of the Kissala casino strip. It is the most popular tourist attaraction in the city leaving casinos behind. It is owned by the city and it will receive piers and seawalls in the future. And I'm sorry about that menu, pics taken 3 a.m. You must enjoy this update or you will be killed by same fierce tigers and pandas, which ruined the ancient Qaddro. (copypaste!)

It's the first time I see Bill Gates' bridge , a magnificent bridge ... but my greatest interest is for these streetlamps on parkings (last pictures) , I'm really enjoy this kind of details and everytime searching for this kind of props , so may I request from where they're coming ?

So many questions, so I make first round of replies now. I still continue putting ST updates here, but it's little hard work ;D If I remember right, this update is from Kissala (in English it would be something like Catville :-\), which is resort city, known by it's beaches, casino's, Ruoholahti Amusement Park and "get married in hour"-chapels. I could say, that Las Vegas and Rio de Janeiro were somekind of inspiration for this nice city. Also Kissala has gone through lot of chances, so it looks kinda funny and undeveloped now.
BUT REPLIES (harder to reply here than ST &ops)
Badsim You should also check Qaddro from ST, if you don't want to wait all miniupdates to come. After minis Qaddro will be in full speed here also. There is only few my bats, because their quality isn't good and I have made only few..but in capital Ronja there is mucho my work.

The Enterprise casino represents the futurist architechture and from here the pink car started it's invasion to Qaddro, allthough I noticed it's appearance about in page 5 or 6 in ST. It has a strange habit to shown up in odd places.

But hey, this update is from capital city Ronja, which is also became more better. Ronja is indeed capital of Qaddro, where the krio and goverment lives. Ronja was the first settelment in Qaddro, founded by Sweden-Finland and it was named Karlstadt after Swedish king. When Qaddro gained inpendence, Karlstad was renamed as Ronja after the first baby who was born in Karlstad "New Sweden".
Today Ronja is 400 years old W2W city with skyscraper districts. Allthough Ronja isn't the economical capital, it is home to several big companies in Asia, like HSBC. Many Qaddrian company is located in Tigropoli, which is shown later.

Thank you bat and Strechnitz for your comments :) Qaddro in MD has now achieved a classic status and page 4 of ST's Qaddro. I combined two updates to the previous Ronja update ;) In page 4 there is also a traveller's guide to Qaddro; Finnish - English dictionary which I will continue..OR NOT! HAH HAH!

This update will show you 4th city of mine, Industrial city of Niittypolku. If we roughly translate Niittypolku, it means Meadowtrail. This update show s only suburbs and Bobbo commerical district of Niittypolku, industrial part is coming later on this MD. Niittypolku is also home of Nasu Kissan Avaruuskeskus (Nasu Kissa's Space Center) and there is also navy and military bases. So very important city! Bobbo district is named after our great batter Bobbo662, because almost every shop in Bobbo-district are made by him :)

I must say, I think your region is very well put together, and your outrageous sense of humor and irreverent style of CJing/MDing really make it unique and enjoyable to read. Well, haven't been to over at ST for a while now, so this is my first encounter with Qaddro. I must say it's a pleasent experience. The pictures look really good, but I the background story too - it was among the best I have seen so far. It's a very interesting thought with an aggressive Finland/Sweden superpower colonizing countries in East Asia. Not very realistic, hehe, but interesting. :thumbsup:

It was once a promotional update.
As I expected, people like the comeback. (thank you pandas). I shall continue showing "old pics" from previous updates, but let us pretend that they are new. Shall we? Anyways, when I took these pictures I released diagonal buildings. So it was SHAMELESS ADVERTISING, but afterwards those diagonals gone off STEX and are now upgraded to be better. So there will be another promotional update..some day..

Hello folks! It's time to give update from Tigropoli. These pictures are (then unready) downtown, which is now in "full glory", but that update will be seen later.
Tigropoli is located on Southern Qaddro and it's city of the contrasts. City holds highest skyscrapers of Indian Penisula, but it's ghettos are worst of Qaddro. City was also host of World Expo 1998 and because of it, city has interesting dwellings, a Maglev-train system (called Tigropoli Transrapid) and also high tech-industry making it Qaddro's technological and commerical "capital". City has impressive subway system, Tigropoli Metro and international airport with smart name: Tigropolin kansainvälinen lentoasema or Tigropoli International Airport. Isn't that a great name?

City core in the right down corner (around Keskusrautatieasema // Central Railway Station), Tonkso City is the skyscraper district and Vergurn district in the other side of the highway. Nasu Kissa Bridge is leading to Evans. Hopealampi // Silverpond, Salamanteri // Salamander and Konia Industrial District in the northwest. I'll name the other districts when I find the names for them. HAHA.

Looks good, but the only thing that I can see wrong is the jaggies that result from mixing two or three sidewalk mods together (default: GLR, jeronij's: road, SMP's sandstone one: plazas), and well, it just looks a little weird as a result. Also, you might have to drop the height of that smaller suspension bridge there in the overview a little. :P (if you haven't done so already, get the Bridge Height Mod from ST's mods section)
But diagonal fun! I like it, despite those little issues. :P

Arriving to Ullanlinna
Nice that people are still interested about Qaddro. I have always wondered, why people sign their CJs/MDs like SimCity, a CJ by Mayor? Well, because mine is better and I'm better, Qaddro will be known as Qaddro, the MD by Krio. Not a MD, this THE MD. THE MD.
But let us return to business. I've been building Qaddro, but now I shall continue showing older, disappaeread pics from Qaddro. Today we go to Ullanlinna (Ulla's Castle, castle of Ulla), city which was founded soon after Ronja by Finnish immigrants. After Qaddro became independent, immigration to young country was organized so that people would land to Ullanlinna instead of young capital Ronja to prevent riots and other criminal activities in the city. They say, that Ullanlinna is most Scandinavian city outside Scandinavia because of the architechture.
City has many well known landmarks, including Nikolainkirkko // st. Nicholas Cathderal - a lutheran cathedral which was designed by German architecht. Nikolainkirkko is most important church in the Indian penisula, though it aren't the seat of Archishop of Qaddro. Lutheran religion first came to Ullanlinna and then speard to other parts of Qaddro.
Maybe the best known landmark is gate of Liberty or Vapaudenportti which is the center piece of today's update, but first replies: Pat Riot: Kiitos, thank you. Maybe I shall name district after our glorious religion. European is The Word!

It was gift from American goverment at 1810 for young republic which was squared by British and Americans wanted to show that they support freedom of Qaddro. Vapaudenportti was placed to Heinäsaari // Hey Island, which held the old immigration office. Today Vapaudenportti is one of "wonders of the world" and symbol to freedom like Statue of Liberty of New York City.

Old customs office and prison for "difficult" immigrants. Today it is a souvenier shop, but holds some postal service for tourist use. Handcuffs only 5 taffs, if you send 2 postcards.

I like this island, reminds me of a certain few islands around the world. In fact, I can name one: Garden Island, Sydney: formerly a fort (well it wasn't a prison, seeing as Australia WAS one big prison, after all), now a rapidly-sinking-into-the-sea tourist attraction.
I see jaggies that could easily be fixed by using Marrast's diagonal filler tile that came with the seawall kit. (picture 2... you don't have to fix it, though, it's not too bad looking)
It must be one of those days, though, where no-one's bothering to visit their local tourist attraction...

Good people of Devotion! As you can see, I'm "back in Krio" again and many, MANY thanks to jeronij for it! Anyways, back to the updating Qaddro. This update is "old" again, but pics are gone so re-post it here. Now we explore city center of Ullanlinna. As I mentioned previously, it's most Scandinavian city outside of Scandinavia. There are no cars, because at the moment when picture was taken there was only 2 000 residents. So mostly plopped and I'm sorry. But plopping is the trend in MDs.REPLIES

While making school project after work my brains burnt out and I needed to something else. Options were: walk to the gym for 1,5 hours in heavy rain or SimCity 4. SC4 it was and I continued Qaddro's capital Ronja. I built some residental areas, tram lines and govermental buildings. I also built "old harbour" which is used by leisure activities nowdays. Unready area! Oravatorni // Squirrel Tower is highest radio / TV-mast in Ronja if we do not count the skyscrapers. This unready area is called as Raastin // Grater, because it's located in old manufacturing area. Some of the factories are still working, but most of them are converted to other usage as residental flats, museums and even nightclubs. Raastin was also former 'red light district' but when industries were shut down, the prostitues disappeared.

Quite quiet in Raastin. Tower blocks were built in the 1930's for apartments for factory workers, but today they are in "cult position" and different kind of people live there. Flats are cheap so again students live here because of views and nightclubs.

Qaddro's second finest department store - Stickmann was founded by German trader in 1892. Stickmann has several other department stores in other cities, usually in malls, but this is their flagship shop - the crown jewel of whole Stickmann chain.

Metro of Ullanlinna is at the moment quite small, but I'm gonna expand it. I named stations as numbers for the map, but now I name the stations

You propably think were name Kapinat // Riots come? When Ullanlinna was young city, gangs usually clashed in this area which was filled with warehouses. Then one fight turned to larger riot which burned the warehouses and industries. Area was known as Industrial docks before it name was changed to Riots in 1902.

Anyway, update continues from the teaser. Aleksanterinkaupunki is rather young and "American" city, next to Kissala. City has some old W2W buildings like Ronja, but Aleksanterinkaupunki became city in the 1974 when its population suddenly grew with tens of thousands, thanks to Kissala.
For me, city is "true Qaddro" and reminds me when I started the whole region from Kali months ago.REPLIES

A (pretty much) low rise downtown, good to se! But highways touching downtow, you must have forgotten your roots krio :thumbsup:
I can also see a lot of mixed styles in your MD, although this can be a very good thing and it can also work against you. For example, Aleking, one of the best players to ever grace Sim City always uses buildings from all sorts of different styles in a single city tile and really makes it work.
In your third picture down, I see a mix of European/ German/ French mid rise buildings nearer to the rivers edge, then as you move a little more back you move into a rather out of place feeling pocket of mid level skyscrapers which contains British, American and even Chinese architecture, and then if you just move up a little, you're back into some sort of tropical feeling suburbs. All this within a couple hundred meters from a major airport runway. But don't get me wrong, this could have developed into a beautiful city, and still have used all the same buildings. Personally, I just all don't like the transport layout, the bright pink street textures and how quickly things move from skyscrapers- to suburbs- to mid-rises – to airports, which is all mixed in with a nice amount of smog, zots, blank tiles, blackened buildings and a PEG skyfarm?
Incorporating mixed styles as you have shown here has nothing to do with how good your City Building skills are.
But on with what I do like, in the 'random shot' I really like the use of French and American buildings, they work well together and how you've used a lot of different trees all over your city which makes for a great overall look.
By the way, I mean this to mean no offence to you, I'm just trying to prove a point. ;)

Limited Edition
Rules will be simple: one tile, one city, one MD. With this one I will "improve" my MD skills and citybuilding skills and maybe I even use photoshopping. After everything is ready, I will return to build Qaddro which will go as INACTIVE MD. It will continue after this, so this is one city only.
Already I have made canals and main roads for the city aswell plopped some landmarks there. City is named as Zooropa and I will give all stats, flags and other stuff like good MD should give.

Excellent use of the Millenium Bridge there Krio. Looks great so far, the placment of the Smith Tower is awesome. Maybe for inspiration, I'll send you the pics I took from the top. That looks to be what, a small tile, maybe medium? Good luck with this my friend.

If you're trying to improve you're city building skills, then this is defiantly the way to do it! (Taking a break from your CJ and doing something completely different, gives you a chance to try out new ideas, I do this sort of stuff all the time.) I'd love to see you have a go at Photoshop too, a lot of people don't like it, but then a lot of people think it can really increase how realistic your city looks.
Anyways, looks like you're off to a fantastic start, great Euro looking city! These things always look fantastic when you fill them out, especially if they have a canal system as awesome as that!

The construction continues. I was going to sleep, but talking with Pat Riot urged me to build some Zooropa. At morning I had 25 % of the city built and populated, but damn crashing. Now I show you some new overviews, name the districts, showing the Old Marina and focus of this update will be on Theatre District. Also I shall give replies.

The heart of Theater District is full of expensive shops, studios, nightclubs and there is actually few theatres which gave them for the district hundred years ago.

Theater District was known before of its theatres, but now its known by its billboards. As you can see, in Zooropa tobacco advertising is legal. Kite Toystore is one of the oldest stores in the area and it was first building which got advertising on its wall. Now there is only few toy ad and most of the billboards advertise products which aren't healthy for your kids.

the waterfront on RIVER :D looks great, im surpised peg's shiz works on plain land. Im amazed hendrix is coming back from the dead to play in your city, but first hes going to have to find away to avoid falling into the river while trying to enter the building lol :thumbsup: &apls

Pat Riot: In the wall (Kite Toystore) what is opposite the Japanese BAT, it has Mild Seven tobacco advertisment. Half of it can be also seen in the crossroad-picture behind AppleBox. Isn't the main entrance of Regal in the thinner part of the building, which is now next to road? I've always thought that the long part is just secondary entrance and sims can walk into it ;)

As many other cities, Zooropa also has its own flag. Green and silver represents the nature and wealth of the citizens. Two black cats represent the lost love of the founder of the city of Zooropa. Story is too sad to be told and there were talks to remove second cat from the flag, but then Zootopians would have forced to add some other animal like PBear to flag and it was too much.
Ah, I think you need the Avenue Mod that removes the grass from the sides and centre of the avenue. It doesn't look to flash in built up areas. (If you want it and can't find it then ask me and I'll get you a link)
Other than that, looking good. I like the outline of the Puma's / Panthers or whatever, looks like a great flag.
its a good thing you and cockatoo keep putting on your critic mode before commenting eachothers MDs, by the time you two are done we are going to have the two greatest MDs ever ;D
The regal is designed for a street corner, both entrances facing a street. Ive always considered the one under the sign the main entrance, but it could go either way. Im a lil dissapointed in the lack of graters on that flag krio ;D

Time for update, eh :P I'm quite fed up for SC4, it crashes even if I don't do anything.. :bomb: But I managed to build some more (3 crashes) and take pictures (one crash). Because of crashing, city hasn't grow much, but I can show something new.

Zooropa Metropolitan Area goes over province's borders and Metropolitan Area has is own council which assembles in Red Hill Mining Town - the second largest city in ZMA, located in Zooropa province.

Two of the greatest monuments of Zooropa, October Gate and Tomorrow Tower.
October Gate was built in 1882 for victory over Portugal. First October Gate was going to be a generic Victory Arch, but then it was build as a gate that it could serve as a toll booth for market square next to it. In 1953 there was plans to demolish it to make space for new office building, but it was saved.
Tomorrow Tower was the second skyscraper of Zooropa and currently is 5 highest skyscraper of the city with height of 135 metres. Critics say that it destroyes the scenery, because other buildings are max 6 stories high. Defendants say that globe of the tower is great landmark and piece of art which makes it special among other art deco-skyscrapers in the city. Other scrapers are located in CBD and Dolf districts.

Arena House, another landmark of Zooropa thanks to its shape. Arena House originally was office building for trade of harbour but because harbour is now for tourism only, Arena House houses small boutiques and theatre.

Harbour Area had industry during good ol' times, but now factories are transformed for museums, living quarters, nightclubs etc. In the picture is Museum of Seafaring and it has "graveyard" for sailors who were lost in sea. So no actual bodies.

The burnt up building was headquartes for Elevation Bank, but it was hit by car bomb two days ago. Mafia was trying to kill one crooky businessman, but poor mobsters did use too much TNT and they killed 329 civilians because after explosion huge fire started and many people were trapped thanks to damage caused by bomb. And oh yes, businessman was killed too but so were 4 mobster, one of them was later indentified as right hand man of Don Arpeggi.
Ooh, CBD looks nice . . . great use of that demolished building. I find it stereotyped how it's always mobsters using TNT. Ah forget it. Reminds me of the incident in the Phillipines where two governemtn agents were smoking over a pile of confiscated explosives and blew up their own HQ. Can't wait for more.

Well dear readers of Qaddro and Limited Edition. Zooropa is lost after game crashed while saving and I quickly bored to my suburbia. Crashing is solved, there is no more any avenue or street side mods. Much better now.
Qaddro is also uninspiring to build so I've decided to restart whole damn MD :o
Current map of Qaddro was Greater Mumbai, which has been best map so far. I would like to though play on new map, so give me suggestions. I don't want any map which is totally mountainous and little space to build real cities, but I don't want large plains either. Mumbai was great because of large water areas and rivers and flat land. I also dislike SC4Mapper & Terraformer, but I could though use them. NHP Whitehall map looks interesting :P
Cats should stay, I love them ;D Qaddro's story would remain much unchanged, cities would be named as they were used to but I think that I drop all names containing weird words like Qersadf and names related to ex-ms.Krio ()sad()

hmm...elsbury region is the 3rr map, although if you want it to be quicker and smaller, i would suggest choosing one of the smaller versions (southeast southwest northeast northwest). regular 3rr is freaking huge. I got lost in it one time and never found the tile I built.

State of Qaddro is mostly populated by felines who are one of the leading races in planet Earth. In this universum humans didn't exist and most of animals that our world knows, walks on two feet.
Qaddro is located on Ãrmania Continent, on shores of Pamorian Ocean. This highly developed nation may be small by its landmass, but is a strong superpower in the World and has permanent seat in United Species Security Counsil. State is democratic republic which head of state is called krio who is elected to power for life or until he / she resigns. Krios has much power in politics, but they do not have dictator's rights. Goverment is lead by Premier who usually comes from leading party, but history know occasions where the Premier has from civilian job. Elections are kept in every 4 years and 200 members to Parliament, or Kur-Nau as locals call it.

Flag of Qaddro. The green diamond reflects the wealth which comes from enviroment. Black hands symbolize love and green lines are for Pamorian Ocean, which has granted Qaddro food. White blackground is for peace.
Qaddrian language is the offical language and thanks to Qaddro's influence in world it is spoken in 12 different nations in same continent and 5 of those nations has its as offical language. Qaddrian language resembles Finnish language from our universum and names and titles will be told as Qaddrian, but they are (if possible) translated to World Basic, or English of our universum for MD's readers.
Qaddrians are religious people and 82 % of the people are members of Ikkadian Church, which symbol is cross. Ikkadians believe in afterlife which "greatness" depends on your actions of your life. There is so called Holy Book, but it has only symbolic value and most of the people do not believe its stories about carpenter who walked in the water or healed sick people. Ikkadians have one deity, called Ikkadi which - as Archbishop says - watch people's actions and judges them when they die and are ready to enter the Afterlife. There is no Heaven or Hell like our universum's religions have.
Qaddro is very old nation, founded in year 420 of our time when Qaddrians invaded the penisula called Qaddro from Avroman Empire. Since then nation has been involved in several wars: for defence and gaining land. Last war where Qaddro fought was so called Eastern Islands War, where superpowers of the world overthrew dictator of Araq. E.I.W was fought in 1994 and Qaddrian military occupied the Eastern parts of the country. Some called it as oil war, because Araq has large amounts of oil beneath its surface. Other wars which are considered important for Qaddro were Iponian War of 1430 - 1434 where Qaddro gained land from north. War of Ifrasia, or Impearistic Wars were fought between Qaddro, Alba, Êiranz and Lisgal in primitive Ifrasia. After the war Qaddro emerged victorius and gained several colonies from Ifrasia, but most of them gained independce during 1960's, but Qaddro still has few colonies. Third World War, which was fought in 1939 - 1945 started when Arayan dictator wanted to expand Aryan people's living area. This clever mad dog got Imperial Nappon for its side, which has had facist coup and Nappon invaded Qaddro, but after years of fighting Allied won and Qaddro, as one of the important allied nations, was elected to USSC's member.
Qaddro is densely populated, there is not much countryside left, but jungles are preserved. Urbanism has been strong and cities began to grow when electricy and steam power were invented. Roosa, the capital city is one of the largest cities, but it does not have much skyscrapers as Ronja or Kongars has. All cities of Qaddro are well known by their W2W areas and espically in Roosa those blocks seem not to have any end.

Qaddro is huge economical power, average GDP / person is 53 000 uedas, or 53 000 euros of our money. Ueda, the currency of Qaddro is used in 32 countries around the world and 128 of world's 500 largest companies are from Qaddro or have their headquartes in. Most of these headquartes are located in Ronja, the economical capital of the world. If we compare Ronja to our world cities, it would be mixture of London and New York City. Ronja Stock Exchange is also world's most followed market, if something goes wrong in there, whole world goes on crisis.
Most important areas of economy are banking, oil production, retail chains, High Tech, luxury products and paper. Because Qaddro is small and urbanized country, most of rare materials are imported and then produced for something better and then sold.

QADDRO RESTRATED
As I promised, here comes the first real city update. It is quite small now, because I must go to the school soon.
Update is from capital city Roosa (previously it was Ronja), which could be translated as Rose (the colour, not the plant). Roosa has gained nicknames such as City That Never Ends and City of Roses. Roosa was founded in 390 by Avromanias as Rosadium and city kept it Avromanian name for century until it was Qaddrianized as Roosa. Roosa is made from islands and mainland, original city was founded on islands, which are called Vanhakaupunki (Old City), Kiero, Agini and Valian. Name Valian is no longer in used that much, because island is divided to Harbour and Humphrey Districts. Islands are mostly populated by wealthy felines. In Humphrey is one of the most popular department stores in whole Qaddro and there is also War Memorial Plaza.
Kiero, named after saint who lived in 742, is sometimes called as heart of the city. Kiero's and most of Roosa's skyline is dominated by massive Kieronkirkko, or what remains of it after it was badly burned during WWIII. Kieronkirkko, Saint Kiero's Cathedral is still active church and every Ikkadian holiday there is organized large masses. Though Kieronkirkko is maybe most important church for Qaddrians, it isn't the seat of the Archbishop of Qaddro.

Hello good folks. 13 new replies to Qaddro since I made complete relaunch in the page 8! Keep commenting and you lurkers should comment too. And now some information of Qaddro's media:There is 10 newspapers in Qaddro, though only Tomorrow and Propaganda (the tabloid) is nationwide. Other important papers are The Hindu Times and ReNT, which more economy based than others. Tomorrow isn't the oldest one, but it succeed to win its competitors after recression of 1921 and when other papers went down its demand grew and helped to establish it as Qaddro's leading paper. It claims to be neutral, but it is slighty right-oriented paper. Tomorrow's headquarters are in Ronja. The Hindu Times was the oldest paper, named after district of Roosa. As said, recression hit hard to newspapers and THT was dropped as a second largest paper. Newspaper is known for its liberal views and its current editor has a habit to question Tomorrow's articles. ReNT or better known as rEnt.com is economical paper created by ZOO MEDIA in 1992. ReNT is considered as best economical paper in Qaddro, but its neutrality is discussed after it wrote article about how greatly ZooTV channels are doing before ZooTV networks made huge loss in 2001. Propaganda is also own by ZOO MEDIA. Tabloid's story began in 1955 and it was bought by media giant in 1979. Soon after the deal Propaganda dropped the slogan "Qaddro's Finest Newspaper" and changed it as "You do - we tell". Propaganda's offices are in Roosa outside the ZOO MEDIA Towers which are located in Ronja. Reason for this are politicians in Roosa .

ZOO MEDIA controls the skies with its ZooTV networking. ZooTV is best known by its huge broadcast screens over the world, where it operates. Oldest and one of the largest of these screens can be found from Roosa's Sand Square, where is ZooTV's studios too. Huge broadcasting arrays have created a urban legend that ZOO MEDIA is trying to control people's minds, though military has proved that they are wrong and they actually have larger network in Qaddro. ZooTV has 7 different TV-stations and 2 radio ones. ZooTV One and ZTV2 are normal channels, where news, movies and series are shown. One does not have any commericals and is praised by the population. ZTV News is a news channel, ZTV MOVIES is, duh, a movie channel, Kitten Zoo is for children and ZTV Sport is for sport. Seventh one was created two years ago as a music and young people's tv channel and can be seen in internet too. It was originally called as ZooMusic, but was changed as Lyla in 2008.
Radiostations are called as Zoo Radio, which has no music. Only news and talk shows and more youthful is POP.
Other networks are Qaddro Broadcasting Company, which serves are Qaddrians in the world providing news from Qaddro via their QBC World channel. QBC also operates two channels, which are like ZooTV One and ZTV2 in Qaddro. Kanava- is compeletly movie oriented network and shows different kind of movies in their Romance, Action, Comedy, Horror, Family and Kids channels. Then there is Kanava- K18, but it has moved to internet only after.

Thank you again for commenting good friends. Today I shall make another basic update from Roosa, not so much writing. Little basic information about religion, Ikkadianism.
Ikkadianism is the offical religion of Qaddro, but not state religion. In Qaddro state and religion are separated and religion doesn't control everyday life though majority of the people attends to church's events and goes for Sunday's worships. Ikkadianism has a holy book called Murkina and it was The Law until 1521 when st. Melonius simply "got mad" to church's and Archbishops' way to blackmail money from the people using wrath of God as their tool. Melonius wrote a paper which questioned the stories 2000 years old about carpenter who walked on the water using or healed sick people. Melonius told the people that Murkina was written then when people exaggrated those events and said "kitten of Ikkadi" wasn't real person but many of good preachers who told about life which would please Ikkadi, the god. Their actions were not the law then and greedy cruch is using them to get money and power. Melonius said that "if you live a good life and try not to commit sins, but if you commit then and you regret them, you get sunny side in the afterlife (because the is no hell)".
So Archbishop and other head of the Ikkadian Church in the world had to give up for demands of Melonius and Qaddrian people who started to speard the word in the neighbouring countries. The church gave a statement that there is no law anymore to pay gold for fogviness or better life and Melonius is right. Today Ikkadian Church is world's largest religion and has so called "spinoff's" like Roofinism and Cascadi Ikkadiasim which has little support in Qaddro. REPLIES

Roosa Central Railwaystation is located northwest from islands and isn't really in the center of the city. Next to station is small chapel for those who need to pray or get married before trains leaves. The skyscraper is one of the highest buildings in Roosa and belongs to Elevation Bank who recently bought it, but kept the old name Wrigley Building.

Hello good people. Today we show you a different teaser what is coming up next from Roosa. If someone guess what is it related to, he / she gets a reward. Hopefully the update is coming up tomorrow or maybe tonight somewhere near midnight of Eastern European Time.
Updates on political front too! Qaddro, the state of felines and other animals has signed diplomatic agreement with Kingdom of Monkey Island and has now opened an embassy where Qaddrians can now apply visa to get to the Monkey Island. Qaddro will be making diplomatic agreements with animal-ruled nations, so humans don't bother :P
And because of the teaser / competition I won't be talking anymore!

Well, Pat Riots got it somewhat right. Indeed, economy and stock exchange will be featured in the update. I'll write more text to it about the system in general, but there are three different stock exchanges or as locals call them "pörssi". Roosa Stock Exchange is focused more for energy and fuel companies and state owned enterprises are part of it RoSE 20-index. Ronja Stock Exchange is more bigger and its Erkko- and Y200-indexs are those which are most important ones for world's economy. In last teaser update you saw the current situation in Roosa Stock Exchange, not going very well thanks to finacial crisis of Pamoreccian Confedrations which was caused by unneeded wars. So far banks of Qaddro hasn't been affected hard, but there are talks that HSBC (Habla-Sangez Banking Corporation, today only HSBC Corp.), Qaddro's 3 largest bank has got trouble in Southern markets where housing prices have gone up.

Thanks for your interest again faithful readers. As promised, I'll write more about Qaddro's economy.
Qaddro is one of the world's most industrialized nations and is leading country in rocketry, medicine and most of world's finacial geniouses has born or have taught in Qaddro and its universities.
During ancient times Qaddro was known by its wines, catnip and fine gold. Mining industry became prominent after dark ages when steam power was invented and massproduction allover the world started. Because Qaddro is quite flat, it didn't have enough iron or other important ores than gold. Gold is found from riverbanks and still mined by Red Hill Mining Corporation which base of operations started the industrial city of Red Hill Mining Town. In need of rare materials Qaddro started colonize other lands. Colonies were struggling when Qaddro flourished and got stronger and after 1960's Qaddrians started to shame their treatmeant of natives. Because this is not history lesson, we continue on economy: Qaddro produces the crude ores to metals, jewelry and other products for industry and consumers. Vertigo INC., nations largest company also started from mining but now operates in every field of industries.
Oil and natural gas are Qaddro's main rare materials which can be found from the shores of Qaddro. Qaddrian oil companies like ExOil, Neste and Gasum, which is state-owned basicly own the Northern world's oil production and have recently made huge profits after oil prices went up, but foreign companies like Texas operate in Qaddrian oil fields and markets.
High tech industry has developed more and more in Qaddro after nation decided to cut emission in 1970's. Before tax cuts for HT companies Qaddro's only high tech company was QAJ or QSO, the space agency. Today Qaddrian watches, mobile phones, computers, microchips and spaceships are well known in the world. QAJ is only aviation company in Qaddro, no one else produces airplanes so Qaddro must bought them from outside world.
Food industry is medicore, nothing major. Only food source in Qaddro is fishing after there is not enough land for rice or wheat so nation give up for agriculture in 1859. Qaddro buys its rare material for food industry from it eastern neighbour Govlak. Politically Govlak is a puppet state for Qaddro, the poor nation is larger by its size but their leaders get telegrams from Roosa every week.
Finacing has been Qaddro's speciality since dark ages, bankers from Qaddro have much influence in other nations and Qaddrian banks are world's largest ones. Elevation Banking Group or Elevation in short is world's largest bank and world's 5 largest company. Finacial corporations are located in Ronja's Hewson district. 57 per cent of all world's finacial flow goes through Qaddro and you can imagine how many conspiracies are created thanks to this fact.
Though world's first stock exchange was estabished in Alba, Qaddro has many of them. Roosa Stock Exchange, oldest of Qaddrian exchanges was founded in 1753 and Ronja Stock Exchange in 1792. There is third exchange too in Maguire, founded in 1893. RSE is largest and most important of these and it holds over 600 companies all over the world. RoSE has 200, mostly Qaddrian ones and MSE has almost 200. RoSE is more closed exchange than others and getting listed there isn't easy. Been awhile since I've been by (too long :-[), and it's great to see Qaddro restarted. :thumbsup: That was a rather interesting bit about the economy, and quite realistic, I might add. I also caught your U2 reference there. :)
And your use of the diagonal buildings is just outstanding--I've yet to really play around with them, but seeing these updates makes me want to. Good to see the ubiquitous pink car back in action as well.
