the small town of Oaklawn, it was once Meadowlark Falls' rival but then the little town fell when Meadowlark Falls was chosen for the County Seat of Holland County.

amazingly this powerplant was built in 1920 and upgraded in 2000! and still supplies power to the Meadowlark Falls area

A great update. I really like the way you have done your downtown area. Believe it or not, there are still a few areas like that in the L.A. area (roundabout an d everything). The lake is also quite well done and the small island looks great. Always good to see the updates you have to show us.

I second what guurgkund said - that overview is stunning. I'm always interested seeing how the mayor deals with the undeveloped land around a perfect little "stand-alone" area like that. Hope you're able to retain some of that countrified atmosphere.

I admire your willingness to experiment, but I guess I'm one of thoise "set in my ways" folks who thought Meadowlark Falls was pretty nifty as it was before. A big plop water river and waterfalls (thanks, btw- it's great to see them in use!) are things I've worked hard at, but have never quite achieved the integration I'd hoped for.
I still maintain your initial pics of the little town in that wonderfully rolling valley were phenomenal to look at. I'll be watching what you do here with interest to see what you're up to next.

I agree with David, I didn't think there was anything wrong with the first Meadowlark Falls, but hey, you're the boss! The new town looks great, too, and the poloppable river with the falls looks spectacular, too. I'll be looking forward to seeing more, my friend!

This building would tower 400ft above the plains and Meadowlark Falls' current tallest.
