Ooh, I really like that map

blade2k5

Like the new banner and new map.  Just to let you know I'll be putting together a list of the non-U.S. maps  and posting that list in our private forum so we can choose which of those we can package together for our next release of mega-paks.

Heblem

Maybe a countries pack, like you did with the US states..

blade2k5

Yup, that's what we're gonna do Heblem.....I know for sure Rich and I are going to release a pak featuring the South Pacific Islands we did a few weeks ago, other than that, I have a few maps of Greece, China and Japan and whatever else Rich has done so far.

I have some of China, Cuba, Italy, Panama, Peru, and a bunch of miscellaneous islands from around the world. I have pretty much downloaded data of the whole world so I can make maps of almost anything.  ;)

Heblem,

Maybe you could do a couple of Mexico Pak's. You know the country side better then we do. There has to be a lot of great maps from Mexico. Keep in mind that these have already been done: La Paz, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. I can help to, I have all the DEM data already.  ;) You pick the places and we will go from there.

Nice maps here papab, can't wait to see if you can actually finish all of them.  $%Grinno$%

blade2k5

Wow, impressive list there Heblem.  Outside of La Paz, others in Mexico I've done are Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.  I'm not sure about Los Cabos ()what() though. unless that's one of the Cabo's I listed above.

On a side note Rich, I've also done a few maps of Brazil
, Baiade & Sepetiba, Mazagao & Macapa, Porto Alegre,  Rio and Salvador, all cities along the coast.  I'm currently mapping the the entire Amazon River from it's mouth at the Atalntic, to it's headwaters in the Andes.  And lastly, I'm working on some interior maps of Venezuela plus Caracus and it's surrounding areas.

Heblem

"Los Cabos", San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas  ;)

Venezuela you can do:
Caracas
Maracaibo
Barquisimeto
Valencia

Also Perú is a beautiful country, you can do places like:
Trujillo
Chimbote
Lima
Arequipa

As for Brazil don't forget to do Belo Horizonte, Recife, Belém and Fortaleza  :)

blade2k5

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure.

Belo Horizonte, Recife, Belém, Sao Paulo and Fortaleza are also on the hit list.  Rich has done Lima already and I'm also working on covering a majority the Andes from one end to the other.  As for Venezuela, Caracas is near completion and I couldn't remember the names of the other major cities in the country.

Vandy

Hello, papab2000.

As I mentioned earlier to emilin, the NHP has most certainly benefited by the addition of your talent.  Your map-making skills are absolutely excellent.  Also, you have such a diversity in what you make.  I've followed your released and am very impressed with your islands, East of Reno series and the recent work you've been doing with Blade2K5.  Not only are your maps very detailed and appealing to the eye, they afford the SC4 "player" the opportunity to develop very interesting regions.

Congratulation on a wonderful portfolio of maps and for all the time and effort you've made in creating them.  I'm sure the SC4 community appreciates your efforts as well.  I know that I certainly do.

Have a great day!

Regards,

Gary (Vandy)

Gary,

Thank you so much.  :)  I am glad you appreciate the maps.  ()stsfd() Troy and I spent many hours on those maps and it is good to see that SC4 player like them.  :) Yes they do give the user many opportunities to play many types of terrain and real cities, and of the world. We have many more done and in the works but we can't just saturate the LEX & STEX so we release a few at a time.  ;)

Thanks on behalf of NHP and myself,
Rich

Blade and I just finished this beautiful map of Mt Cook and want to show it off. This map is 10 x 11 Large tiles. Here is some info on this area:

Aoraki/Mount Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand. It lies in the Southern Alps, the mountain range which runs the length of the South Island. A popular tourist destination, it is also a favorite challenge for mountain climbers. Aoraki/Mt Cook consists of three summits lying slightly south and east of the main divide, the Low Peak, Middle Peak and High Peak, with the Tasman Glacier to the east and the Hooker Glacier to the west.
