Today a completely different update:

Demolition of the town hall



The construction of the 70's wasn't representative enough for the council people Audenge. In 2005 it was decided to move to the old Stock Exchange of Audenge.


For 2 years, the high-rise building near the station was vacant.
It was decided after much deliberation to blow up the tower . At the same place will arises the new community center of Audenge. In addition to various offices and social services, the new city museum will be housed.


The skyscraper is being gutted and the place is prepared for demolition.


A few moments until the explosion. All roads are closed and residents evacuated.

3 .. 2 .. 1 - demolition!!!!




The blast seems to run without complications.




Construction of the new community center.




After 6 months, the community center is nearing completion. Recent work on the roof and the facade must be completed.


The new asphalt is already laid.


Finally, the new community center is finished. The old high-rise eyesore is history.

Nah, they should have just reclad the structure with modern glass and put more green around it. Although, admittedly, this one fits in better with the surroundings. Great work, as usual.

Wow, words fail to describe how epic this is, both in terms of lotting and the story telling! Every little detail is just about perfect really.

Just out of curiousity, how many times did you have to replop that building to get the desired demolition shots?!

Again, great ideas put into practice! I like the combining the station with the new town hall. This looks very coherent and is intended for travelers very convenient.

Rembrandt Theater

The famous theater is located at the Place de la découverte.
The theater was named after the founder and first director Jacque Rembrandt.

The renowned theater was built in 1901 and designed by the architect Evert Breman.

2009 began the renovation of the historic theater hall and the facade.




The renovation of the historic theater hall was completed in 2011.


Recent work on the roof and facade. Another 4 weeks until the reopening.


The golden age of the theater was in the 20th.
The famous theater actor Willem Moen began his great career here.

I can't believe I haven't stopped by this amazing MD before.  The details included in each scene are stunning - you have a mastery over a wide range of props.  I find myself going back over each picture to find more details that I missed before.  Great work, I'll try and stop by more often.
