Remember V3 can make compact junctions function too.

Nexis4Jersey

I've just been dying to do this!  An RHW-2 intersection with slip lanes.  There are a good number of these near my area.
Find my power line BAT thread here.
Check out the Noro Cooperative.  What are you waiting for?  It even has electricity.

metarvo:  Neato!  Kinda looks a star when viewed on an angle.

If you expanded it by a tile or two, you would then have room for left turn lanes, there's a good number of them in my area too!

Looking forward to some more RHW 3.0 creations!

Best,
-Haljackey

This thread will get interesting when people begin to experiment with RHW 3.0 and make big interchanges!

Quoted for truth.  Now that the fury has been unleashed, let's see what y'all can do!  I'm looking forward to it.

I wholeheartedly agree.  Even so, I haven't forgotten that we also have a new NAM.  Although the RHW is "in" and is very flexible, this doesn't mean that the FHW has been abandoned.  Here is an example of the effects of the new NAM at work.

A rhw-2 intersection, doesn't look perfect but it's good for places with limited space.

I recently rebuilt all the highways in Virgin Shores with RHW 3.0...

An interchange on the new Southern Expressway (VS-101):

A partial diamond where it crosses under VS-1:

VS-1 Exit 1:

A modified cloverstack (based off of one in Patricius Maximus's Patrician Showcase) between VS-1 and VS-2.

An elevated portion of VS-2 with frontage roads:

(apologies for the brown box, didn't notice it until I was posting this)

VS-1 Exit 4:

These will all be featured shortly in a CJ update.

Wow, nice work DTP!  I really like that RHW/RHW interchange!

Just one thing I noticed in the 4th pic.  Where the elevated section ends, a RHW-6 stub appears.  You can redraw that segment to fix it.

EDIT: Thanks for pointing that out Joe!  Noticed it too thanks to you :P

Joe:  I noticed that. :P I'll fix that when I finish detailing the interchange.

Hal: Thanks! And thanks for pointing that out. ;) I usually fix those but I guess I missed this one.

Had my 1st play with the RHW just now. Never used any of the ones before so this was my first time!!!

Nice and simple I thought.
Then I got a bit more advanced...

Some stunning intersections here, folks! Look forward to seeing more RHW 3.0 experiments over the next little while.  ;D

j-dub

So its a small ordinary highway intersection, or is it?

Look closely at the lights, maybe magnify, what do you notice?

Nexis4Jersey

I see a lawsuit waiting too happen , ur roads r too bumpy , that bridge would be a great dukes of Hazard jump!  ::) :D
