Alright.  Its time I showed some of my best here.

Here it goes.  They are 1440x900 images.  I have resized them to a 1024px to comply with site rules.  Click on the link below the images to view them in FULL RESOLUTION!

FULL RESOLUTION

two parallel highways combine and transfer together to form the collector/express system.

Wow!  I'll have to come back and use this as a reference if I ever get up the nerve(and time) to build another highway system.

Haljackey,  The first time I saw this update I saw some interesting stuff, but I usually think this type of transit network is a waste of space.  But last night I needed to make some RL intersections and I refered to this thread and I eneded up using some of your ideas.  Thanks.

Hey, I'm glad you like them  :D

I have a thread over at Simtropolis called "Show Us Your Interchanges!", were you can find other examples of intersections/interchanges that others, as well as myself have made.

I'll post the link here. You do not have to be a member over at Simtropolis to view the images, but you must be to post.

Heres a link if the hyperlink above didn't work http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=23&threadid=89089&enterthread=y

Haljackey,  I checked out the link, thank you very much.  There was alot of interesting stuff there for sure!

Well, I don't think I deserve that kind of title.  I just use the existing networks (what we already have) and some creativity to make what looks and works best in my cities.  There are a lot of possibilities, but there will be even more when (replaced from if, my bad Tarkus! :P) the new RHW interchange network becomes available (the MIS system).

Feedback, both positive and negative is appreciated.

I will post some more when I get some free time since everyone likes them so much.

Thanks in advance,
-Haljackey

The question is not if, but when. ;)  It's been progressing nicely . . .

Okay, you're right, I'm wrong.  (Edited my last post for you)

Alright, since everyone enjoyed my last post, I'll give you an encore!  A dozen more!

I also managed to work out the image resizing thing (thanks to star.torturer!) so the images will appear compressed here to comply with site regulations.  I will provide a link BELOW each image that will direct you to the uncompressed, FULL RESOLUTION image (1440x900, although two are "special" at 1280x1024).

Anyways, FYI, these are all RAW images taken from the game.  They are not "photoshopped" in any way.  The only editing done to them was to change their format from .png images to .jpeg format.

Here we go!

Frontage road interchange.  I hate frontage roads with a passion, but do to space constraints, I had to build one here.  This is the only example of frontage roads I have.

A demolished seaport allowed a lakefront throughway to take its place, as well as a new bridge.  Here is a unique interchange between the two roads, constructed differently due to the lake:

4geowobo, where is your CJ? If you don't have one, I seriously think you should start one. I've been noticing your pictures for a while now, and they all look very realistic.
