Greetings! I am glad you have taken the time to hopefully read this over. This guide is more of a quick-start guide to the BAT. It shows the basics of what is necessary info to BAT.

The BAT can be an overwhelming tool at first to those who have never used a 3D modeling program before. This tutorial should serve as a basic intro to tools needed to start your very own models.  :)

When you open the BAT, you should see this: 4 views, Top, Front, Left, and Perpective (respectively).

Now it looks a little complicated..but once you mess around a bit; and learn the basics, it really isn't that hard.

One of the basic tools while BATting is the 3D figures: (as indicated by the red arrow)

3D figures are easy to use; and can be especially useful for round objects, such as spheres and cyliners.

Splines (2D objects) are commonly used, however they are extruded [made into 3D objects (as later described, do not worry about it now though)]. The splines catagory is indicated by a red arrow in the picture below:

Another very useful tip to know is changing views and enlarging views. Although initially you begin with Top, Front, Left, and Perspective, you can move them to show a single view by clicking and dragging at the indicated point shown below, the red circle shows the intersection of the views.

By simply clicking and dragging the center; we can effectively enlarge any view.

Remember, if you ever 'mess up' a view; or get a weird angle, you can reset the view by right-clicking the view name, i.e. perspecive. Go down to the 'views' submenu and in the last grouping of actions; click perspective to reset the view to it's original starting position; this works for any view. Always remember this when making your model; it makes life so much easier  ;D

More to this tutorial soon to come! This is simply to get you farmiliar with the very very basic need-to-know things to making BATs of your own. Stay tuned for more  ;D

On a further note; please know that this is a 'stub' and not quite complete; however, it will continue to grow and develop over the next few days hopefully.  ;D

To enlarge a selected view all you actually need to do is click this button:

Click it again and the view will return to 4 separate views  $%Grinno$%

good idea Frankie

Thanks but it would help a little bit more if the pictures showed.
