I upgraded to Window 7 and SimCity BAT doesn't work for me anymore, it says GMAXLOC enviromental variable not found.
I've tried to reinstall the BAT with no avail since I run SC4 off DAEMON (A cd driver tool that allows you to run programs without a cd driver) but it doesn't let me re-install the BAT since it cannot find SC4 files installed. I still have all the SC4 files and put them in the proper location with every file that sc4 requires to play. The only thing I didn't do was re-install SC4 and enter the serial code. How do I get around installing the BAT? I cannot find my SC4 cd anymore so re-installing sc4 isnt a option now, but considering I have all the files sc4 requires, it should work and yet it doesn't.

You have to manually set the environment variable. Check the link over here:
