I'm lad to hear compliments like that
I got the water mod from the STEX,
it's called something like tropical
water or paradise water
just search for something like that

Here are some impressions,
unfortunately I'm very busy with RL
these days, so here are only
some new pictures from the Belvedere Islands.

I did some major terraforming as well and I will post a region view the next days.

Tourism dominates Walker Island's economy.
In 2006 3,55Mio people visited the islands.
Revenue from tourism make up
60 percent of the nation's GDP.

Anna Maria belongs to the Belvedere Islands,
which are a part of the nation of Walker's Island.
Due to its remote location it was one of the less frequented Islands.
Nevertheless after the airport was opened in 2001
plans for vacation communities were created.
Only one major area was constucted, three remaining plans,
were put off in 2008 due to the financial crisis.

The Diamond Heights were built in 2005,
due to the financial crisis house prices have dropped,
from 400.000$ for an average home to
260.000$.

Traditional cottages at the beach.

The untouched enviroment on the southern part of the Island.
Investors had planned holiday communities and hotels on the
small bays, but were stopped by the financial crisis.
Only some houses are being built on the top of the hill.

David, as much as I've missed the presence of "Her Holiness", it's your pristine beaches, crystal blue water
and beautiful tropical landscapes that I've been secretly craving for a while now. Please don't tell her

This is gorgeous work. Walker's island is beautiful. It's been a long Winter here in Minnesota and I'm dreaming of those white sand beaches.
