Yeah they are both incredible BATers, shame about the standard of KS's lost though &Thk/(
very true at least it is a lot easier to fix a lot than to change a BAT
thanks for the list Patrick
How about an "NOB Fan Club" thread (or Somy, or ks, or Ragutaro, or APTX...), where people showcase and discuss their favorite BATs from a given creator... &idea
snorrelli: Sounds like an interesting idea, of course if this was ST I imagine it would turn into some kind of flame war?
Nah - I think the folks at ST are pretty united in their admiration for Japanese BAT-ers. The flames unfortunately start flying in discussions about the non-Japanese groups. In any case, neither should happen around here, so I think we're in the clear... ;D
I like the excite.co.jp
url (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web) and
text (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/) Japanese/English/Japanese translators.
I've attached a couple of pic's to help those who need it.

NOTE:- When using the URL translator, if you click on links to other pages, they are also translated without having to enter the new URL.
This feature does not seem to be available with the Livedoor translator.
I just have to thank you now , snorrelli , I use these precious links since a long ...
sarjm, thanks for your helpful pics
snorrelli, you are making a great work here. Thanks for your help. I think the idea of particular creator's threads, where we can show and see their works is a great idea ¡¡¡. What do you, dear SC4D members, think about that ?¿
Feel free to post any ideas and suggestions you may have to increase this board useability, the SC4 community will appreciate it ;D
I would certainly join the NOB fan club. His BAT:s rule!
Thanks for your help sarjm because it is hard to understand Japanese ;D
Kei's SC4 site has moved to http://tokyo-urbanlab.jpn.org/Sim-Home.htm (http://tokyo-urbanlab.jpn.org/Sim-Home.htm). The links for downloads are in blue, 2nd box below the main picture. Page is misaligned in Firefox, OK in IE.

Best Regard
Greetings MAS'71! Welcome to SC4D and thanks for your kind words.
I have added your site to the links list in the first post of this thread, under the heading "Resources for Japanese Players." Looks like a great service you provide and similar to something we have tried to do with Japanese downloads for our English-speaking members.
I will also open a help thread here in this forum where Japanese players looking for a dependancy, a particular download or other technical support can post questions and receive help. We are currently trying to secure Japanese-language assistance so that we can translate some threads and be able to provide support in Japanese but, in the meantime, if you or other English-speaking members of the Japanese community would be willing to act as "ambassadors", we will do our best to help out.
Welcome once again and enjoy the site!
Thank you snorrelli ! your quickly respons and your warm wellcom!! :D
The popularity of SC4 keeps continuing and a still new mayor be born in Japan.
I think It's true that wondeful BATs and MODDs in the world is the One Big Factor.

Wow - the online translator you're using is pretty good then! The English you have posted is easily understandable. Which one do you use?
Maybe you can just tell me if the following are understandable translations:
- Japanese SC4 Links = 日本SC4はつながる
- A warm welcome to the Japanese community = 日本のコミュニティへの暖い歓迎
- Tehnical Support, Dependancies and Download Assistance for Japanese Players = 日本プレーヤーのためのTehnicalサポート、依存およびダウンロードの援助

Hmmm... I've never seen that before either. Of the 7 BATs available for download, there is at least one real gem...

It's a little complicated to download. For one thing, it doesn't work with Firefox. Must use IE. There are three different files -
thedietbuilding.1 (http://ktkr.karou.jp/batfiles/thedietbuilding.1),
thedietbuilding.2 (http://ktkr.karou.jp/batfiles/thedietbuilding.2) and a batch file called
thedietbuilding.bat (http://ktkr.karou.jp/batfiles/thedietbuilding.bat), which acts as an autoinstaller.
It's not my intention to start another Japanese BAT Gallery, but I thought this one was worth pointing out. People have been looking for this building for a long time.
This version has been pictured but on SimCity Force forever but not actually available for download:

Looks like the one above is a lot better...
If anyone can figure out the name of the site and the creator, I'll add them to the links list in the first post. Good find
sarjm! &apls
This is the first time I've seen this site either.
Most of its BATs are jokey stuff featuring ascii-art characters from 2ch.net subculture, but this Diet building is one great masterpiece!!
Site name:
BAT置き場 / BAT Okiba
Translated, "BAT depository" What a self-explanatory name!
Note: "Gikonasu" is only the name of one of this site's BATs, the eggplant one.
The #gikonasu in its URL is just an in-page anchor so you should omit it when you link.

Great find, MAS san.
Maybe we should start a new thread for announcing new bat releases from Japanese creators ?
It's good idea Vester san.
but,,,,I think that the earliness of update of that thread newly is be just like the Turtle Walks ;D :-[
so I think that you(we) may use this thread for a while about announcing of new BAT releases.
(You understad that It's my personal idea to the last please....)
Do you think about it everyone?? ()what()
I personally too think it's better to keep it here. This thread provides a starting point for "Japanese BAT hunting" and I think regularly updating new releases here is more pragmatic. :)
Great find Mas71! I already dl'ed. :P
I dont know ::) ....what will happen after one year ?, it will be really difficult and time consuming to find a download link. I think we should organize the links from the beginning, in a way that allows the members to find what they are looking for. Maybe even a locked thread, where only mods can post, where you can find the links, and then other discussion threads about the downloads.
snorelli, what does your experience say ?¿
I tend to agree with Jeronji, If someone finds a new site, post a link and let people go and download what they want. Obviously they could ask for assistance if required.
To begin with, it does because of the thing that I did not understand a true purpose of this thread.
I'm sorry everyone ()sad() to that I was up the Announce of new release here
I agree with it if a new thread with a clear purpose is made!!
by the way...
I want to work with the intended purpose now ;D
Please correct the article on the links to Japanese SC4 Sites list. The following sites cannot use now.
- Daiku (404)
- Tokitori (404)
- Sim-ism (404)
- Sim City Regions Board and SS Gallery (404)
Please confirm then.
Their some old works is could Download from only "
Sim City Force (archive) (http://homepage2.nifty.com/kamurai/simcity/log.htm)".
and Please add this site.
- Caribou's Atelier --> http://homepage2.nifty.com/caribou/

You could download few his original stations BAT now here.
(His old name was ROUGETSU. He chenged name since May,2006)
Thanks for the updated info MAS
The changes are made ;)

Hmmm... This is a tough question &Thk/(.
First off - no problem in posting KS's new BAT in this thread,
MAS71 ;). Clearly we haven't figured out yet how to handle things like this and since I already posted the Diet building here, posting other new discoveries was a natural thing to do.
For sure, the experience at Simtropolis indicates that one thread, where all new BATs are posted and discussed, becomes cumbersome over time. It's only good for new releases. Once someone wants to find something that was released months ago, the person basically has to just ask where to find it because it's too much trouble to go back through 30 pages of the thread to look for it.
There are a couple of options I see for how to do it differently (and probably more ideas than this - so if anyone has a better idea, please speak up):
1. We can have a sort of "Japanese BAT Catalogue" - thumbnail pics, description and download links of new releases. This would be a closed thread, along the lines of what jeronij described. Another example (without pics) is
Ragutaro's BAT List (http://hide-inoki.com/sc4/bat_list.htm). It would be a massive undertaking to go and catalogue the BATs that have already been released, but over time we may be able to make some progress with older BATs as well.
2. Each new release could be posted by whoever discovers it in a new thread of its own. Each new BAT could then be discussed, showed off and support provided in its own thread and they could be found by people looking for them later by the title of the thread. To keep down the clutter, a special sub-forum could be created for individual Japanese BAT releases.
The advantage of option 1 would be a clear, concise and easily accessible catalogue for fast and efficient downloading. A disadvantage would be the maintenance task for site staff to keep the catalogue current. I am also not sure what the effect on the bandwidth of SC4D or the Japanese sites would be if we facilitate hotlinking to downloads on such a large scale. Finally, I think there's something to be said for encouraging people to actually explore the Japanese sites for themselves.
Option 2 would be more "community friendly" since anyone who discovered a BAT could let people know by opening a new thread for it. Unfortunately, it would also be more difficult to go back and find a specific BAT since you would have to sort through multiple threads, without the benefit of thumbnails. Also, the effect of so many separate threads on bandwidth might be even worse than for option 1.
I think either of these options is better than having one long, ongoing thread where new releases are posted (like the Massively Gigantic Japanese BAT Gallery at ST). I guess one step would be to find out which would be better for the technical resources of the site? %confuso
About the updates to the links - thanks,
MAS71, for pointing those out. I had no idea Caribou is the same person as Rougetsu or that he had his own site. I've already downloaded a couple of his older stations that I had been looking for.
Sim-ism (http://sim-ism.nsf.jp/) is still active. The link has just slightly changed. I have updated it in the links. I have also restored the links to the other three sites, even though they appear to be down at the moment. I have found that some of these sites tend to come and go, so 1 month or 1 year from now, who knows...
Thank you very much Snorrelli for your polite and detailed opinion. &idea
uuum...It's a very defficult basic problem ???
The thread expands, and the thing that information that users sees increases is true not avoided. :-[
This is one of the proposals of me. "$Deal"$
1. This thread (Here) is devoted to the link to the site related to SC4 of Japan to the last.
2. make a new thread about "Announceing new Jpanese BAT(other works)" (just said Vester)
Here is a thread about only of the announcement of the appearance of all new Japanese works.
3. and, Thread that has already been made as of now.
about "SOMY"san. "NOB"san, "YH"san....
I think that it may make the thread of the main character externals of the Japanese Creater how many another.
("Rag-Tarou"san "APTX"san "ks_JPN"san....and about Other authors are brought together in one.)
An individual question is done by these individual author's thread.
The usage of a lot of BAT(MOD) of Japanese is very simple.
There are not need many Dependencies and more.
(Small number of works are excluded.)
so It is thought that the question on them from the people other Japanese never increases.
It seems to need the "SC4DJ(SC4 Devotion Japan)" to introduce details in Japanese all works.
It is most difficult. %confuso
uuummm...... &mmm
I'm sorry....My idea is not settled, and not expressible well (with English). :-[
Oh my....(lol)
Please add to Japanese Site Links List a my WIKI "SIMTROPOLIS MODDs,BATs,LOTs" when you have free times.:-[
MAS san, I am thinking along the same lines.
MAS san: about Dependencies, if one have a question or a feeling from the translation of a Japanese text, that there is dependencies,
would you be welling to help out, sorting out the translations and get hold of what dependencies there is and where to find them ?
Know it would be a big job, but it would be an even bigger one for non Japanese
Though unforeseen, the Massively Gigantic BAT thread certainly ballooned to just that, and is definitely a learning example to be avoided. One big thread like that allowed for no organization.
I do like the solution by MAS71-san of having first a master introductory thread with webpage list followed by a separate "New Release Announcement" thread.
Aside from the release announcements, the hulking ST thread tends towards another type of quick incidental posts: "where can I find this ___". It is inevitable that such questions will be made and repeated, and we all really do want to be helpful in spreading these great BATs in an organized fashion. So perhaps we can funnell all these help requests into their own thread, a "Help Request! Where Can I Find This" thread. It will get long over time, there will be repeated requests, the attention will be fleeting and the replies just direciton pointers, but it should be recognized for what it is, and replied to in a way that is helpful.
Of course, the best help is allowing browsing users to find things themselves, so I do like a BAT list much like the BAT List by Ragutaro-san. Perhaps we need not a full thumbnail catalogue with direct links, but perhaps just a author/website list, with sublists of each major individual BAT or theme that can be found on their page. Hence, a person looking for the National Diet, could skim down the list till they find it listed under the website for author Nanashi no boon, and then click the author's website to go there. This thread would have to be locked, and edited as needed, requiring maintainers.
The forum thus could look like this:
Starting Stickies:
A Warm Welcome to the Japanese Community
Japanese SC4 Webpages
Japanese BAT List
New Release Anouncements
Help! Where Can I Find This ___?
Help Thread for Japanese Players
Regular Topics:
Somy Amazes Us
Great Project Underway....
Ragutaro Devotion
APTX Amazes Us
New Theme Set in the works...
NOB Fan Club
.
.
.
Well, its a start. There are several other ways to do or arrange this, but at least these forums still have the starting options before everything grows out-of-hand. Good Luck!
I am really satisfied to see how you all are suggesting and apporting solutions to this matter
I am sure we will find a balanced solution ;)
Forgive me, folks... I'm traveling at the moment (greetings from sunny Cairo, by the way) and I don't have much time. &sly

Kazukiさん、掲載の際の快い許可。ありがとうございます。 :)
Let me note that considering the peculiar notion the Japanese people have towards linking, creating a direct download link (which I believe is what snorrelli proposes in option #1) could be frowned upon by the Japanese creators. A lot of websites discourage or prohibit "deep linking" and only allow other sites to link to their top index page. NOB's "hIMAGINE" is one of them.
Although I personally think that those restrictions go against the whole idea of WWW, this view isn't shared universally, and I think I understand why -- they could be viewing the sites as a "home", and for them deep linking is comparable to going in through the back door.
So, that means we could only take them to each site's top pages, and we have to have the downloaders navigate through the Japanese sites by themselves. However, some of the greatest websites have no English navigation available (like Ragutaro's), so we might have to provide detailed explanation. And I think the explanation for Ragutaro's site would go best on a topic for Ragutaro, doesn't it? So I think MAS71's idea to have topics separated by creators is a good idea. That way, we won't have too large topic that goes on for like 50 pages, and we won't have too many small topics, which could be a problem also.
Edit: a little correction
Good ideas here - thanks to everyone for your insight and creative thinking on this matter...
Asahi, I had no idea the opinion you mentioned exists among Japanese site operators. That gives me some cause for concern. Linking directly to downloads was the main focus of the Japanese BAT Gallery thread at ST and is central to almost all the ideas expressed here as well. If that will be offensive to the Japanese creators and site operators we are linking to, we may have to rethink things here.
In the meantime, here is another idea that is an attempt to combine some of the suggestions above:
1. We could have a "Japanese BAT Gallery" thread that includes a first post that repeats across pages (as happens with the links post in this thread).
2. The first post could include thumbnail pics of BATs, organized by creator/site, with links to the home page or index only (not download links for each BAT). This way people could at least identify what they want and find out where to go to get it.
3. The rest of the thread could be for announcing new releases. That process could go on infinitely and as new releases are posted a thumbnail can be added to the first post, under the name of the creator or site.
I am still dreading the "management task" of cataloguing all the Japanese BATs that are out there, but not having to provide download links to each one would make it easier. Let me know what you think...
MAS71, I have added Kazuki's fantastic screen shots to the links list and have added your site back to the list as well. I had previously moved it to the Help Thread for Japanese Players (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=443.msg12494#msg12494) because I thought it would not be useful for western players, since it provides Japanese translations and support for downloads from "our world."
In fact, you may not have noted the links listed added to the first post of that thread. I have tried to provide the same kind of thing for Japanese players to find all of our sites as we have in this thread for western players to find Japanese sites...
To all, I must do disappointing news today. ()sad()
APTX san has closed his site "8590".
He is a student of university now, and seems to want to devote himself to job hunting now.
The current Japanese finding employment situation is very severe for students.
However,
I(We) believe that he will come back again with good news and his renewedding his site soon.
Now,We can't down load his many good works anymore.
but You can get his some works on the SIMTROPOLIS (http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1&keyword=APTX&type=all).
Thank you very much APTX san!!
I hope to that you will come back again to SC4.
Yes, these are bad news indeed &mmm , but Real Life is before the game of course ::)
I hope he founds a job soon (if he is a designer he wont have any problem at all $%Grinno$% ) so he can come back and continue his show
The best luck for APTX ;D
Yes very bad news MAS-san . Too bad he cannot leave his site up or maybe transfer his stuff to the LEX. &idea ;D I wish him all the luck in the world job hunting. Hopefully he will find something that will allow him a bit of time to still play Sim City.
---Gaston
APTX site closed ・・・・.
When it only had to download everything, it regrets. :(
Continuation of APTX(8590) site!!
He seems to continue an exhibition of his works!!
but He would not make new works for a while. &mmm
I write the details later....
(I must go to bed ;D)

I realy like the looks of this downtown. it's very realistic imo. I got this pic at Kei's bats site but cant seem to locate the building :(
can anyone with some jap skills help me locate those great buildings?
to soulstealer.
Their LOTs "Building housing offices Sets" are not distributed yet.
He seems to be producing(making) their now. ;)
(We can see him comment about it at this page.)
I(We) look forward to completion! ;D
THose will be perfect for my Japanese CJ! Did Kei-san shutdown all of his downloads? Because i cant acess his houses ()sad()
to Skyliner san.
Please relieve
You can get him works from him site now ;)
He continuously opens an existing work to the public now though he doesn't make a new work for a while.
(I confirmed that possible download him works, now!)
but....
It seems not to be able to download some works......
We shall wait for that he corrects it. ;)
Hi folks,
I'm back home now after a looooong trip. Counting the connections, I've been through nine airports in the past three weeks - a personal record I hope not to break anytime soon. &sly
So - back to figuring out what we do with this forum. I notice there hasn't been any further commentary, so either my long-winded messages have burned out the online translators ;D, or we've thrown all the ideas we have on the table for the time being.
If that's the case, I'm going to proceed with the following:
1. A new thread called "Japanese BAT Gallery". I know it's not very creative but it is simple and clear (other suggestions are welcome too). The thread will be dedicated to new releases and will have a first post that repeats across pages, where the new releases will be listed in thumbnail form, under the link to the creator's homepage. The first post will grow over time and will make for easy visual reference if people are looking for something that has been announced in the thread, without having to search through every page of the thread to find it again. We'll see what we can do to list older works, so that we can someday approximate a comprehensive listing of Japanese BATs, but no promises...
As people have suggested, this will just be an announcement thread. Questions, examples of how you have used Japanese BATs and other discussion will be reserved for...
2. "Fan club" threads dedicated to individual creators such as Somy, KS, Ragutaro, etc... The next one up is Somy and there's enough material out there for several others. Less prolific Japanese creators who might not have enough out to justify a dedicated fan club thread will have a sort of "minor league" showcase thread.
I see one potential danger of this, which is repetition. For example, it is likely that a new release by Somy might end up posted both in Somy's fan club thread and in the new releases thread but, unless Jeronij tells me that would be a problem, I think it's not a big deal.
OK - that's it for now. These will begin to appear tomorrow (Sunday), unless there are any other comments...
I cant get these BATs to grow, they would be perfect for suburbs!

and

anyone know what is wrong? &Thk/(
At First...
Welcome home Snorrelli san !!
I feel relieved in that you were able to come back home safely. :)
A your trip this time,
It's just like a dream about us Japanese whom does't heve times ane money that can't be freely spent. :-[
It envies it very much. :bomb:(lol)
OK.
I almost agree with present directionality of how to use "Japanese Threads"
(Of course, the thing that some problems remain, too is included. )
A new thread called "Japanese BAT Gallery"
Here, It reports only on the "announcement of new appearance" in simple.
Details and the question on an individual work are done by an individual JAP's BATer's thread.
May I interpret it in this manner?
Moreover,
I will not nurse a grouch in the thing that the usage of the thread will changes in a further, by good opinions
I want to cooperate as here becomes a good thread. ;)
==============================================================
to Skyliner san.
It's so good pic
It is really glad when the work of "Growable LOTs" appears while playing a game.
Thanks, MAS71. Unfortunately all the traveling was for business, rather than pleasure. I was counting the days until I could get home and get back into SC4! ;)
Yes - you understand the current idea for how to use the threads correctly. I'll go ahead with them this way. If we come up with better ideas along the way, there's nothing stopping us from changing later...
@Snorrelli san and Everyone. :)
I got a joyous answer from Sim City Force (http://homepage2.nifty.com/kamurai/simcity/index.htm)'s maneger "Kamuraita^o san" from JPN, about the LINKs.
He gave us a permission that linked directly with an individual work of Edit-BBS (http://kamurai.sakura.ne.jp/editbbs/lev-bbs.cgi?bid=SC4=&style=0) of the "Sim City Force".
He was very pleased to know the existence of this Japanese thread. :D
and, He said to you with really pleasant permission that he was earnestly good too.

The bridge is you, MAS71! &apls
Thanks for spreading the word about SC4D and making this connection with the Japanese community possible. For a long time those of us that followed the Japanese sites have wished for a way to communicate and interact with our friends in Japan but this forum is the first time it has really happened.
Thanks to you for your efforts and to Jeronij for creating a truly international site that welcomes the whole world, in any language, to come and share, learn and enjoy!
Great news. &apls
No,no,no $%Grinno$%
Jeronij san is the president of a company managing these bridges,
and Snorrelli san is bridge itself,
and I am one of the bolts of this bridge. :P
Ofcause,
I don't have forgetting existence of the all of wonderful staffs of SC4 Devotion !!
Ok,This is the conclusion.....
The Bolt holds out too everyday.... so, Please give me much more pay !! :bomb:

MAS-san,
I thank you and I thank snorrelli for creating this fantastic link to the world of Japanese designs. If Jeronij is the president of the company, and Snorrelli is the bridge and you MASさん are the bolt then can I be the one of the trucks lumbering back and forth across the bridge?

Hey there, I don't know if someone answered your question or gave you advice, but I'm going to do it anyway.
I actually, surprisingly, had them grow in one of my cities recently.
Are you sure that you zoned large enough (I think it's 6x6 Med - High Density Residential) and that your demand is sufficient (they house quite a lot of Sims and commercial office / services [not sure] jobs).
Anyway, best of luck in your endeavour! They are truly excellent BATs. ;D
Oh no.... ()sad()
I'm sorry to Skyliner and Thank you for your answer M4346 so much.
I misread Skyliner's sentence
Yes!!
M4346's answer is precise.
If you want to watch this immediately, Please get a MODD "Radical Ordinance V20" (http://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=282) or "Super Demand Ordinance" (http://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=185) from STEX.
and You should make Residental zone "CTRL" key + "Drug" a mouse to 6x6.
and wait a build this Lot. If it will build other Lot, breake that Lot , and wait again,,,,,,,,repeat to build SOMY's Lot.
Good luck Skyliner!!
and I'm sorry again to my misread.
@Gaston san.
No! You are not it !!
You are one of the ambassador who heaped up this thread very much. Yes!!
However, your expression was funny :D

Hi all,
I noticed that smart_speeder is not included in the creator specific sites, but I found this (http://nonred.exblog.jp) which seems like his personal website.
While there are a lot of wonderful stuff there, not everything seems to be downloadable.
Since my employer has blocked access to all generic translation tools on the web I can´t ask him how to download the objects with just pictures.
He has a lot of interesting planes and ships that I would love to download.
Swesim san
Is this site you noticed ?
(h)ttp://nonred.exblog.jp/
"シム連邦国防総省"
・F-16 & other a few BAT
You can download this site.
[Download] link to YahooBriefcase.
・other old BAT& prop
You can download "シムシティフォース(Simcity force)".
There are at
"- SimCity Force (new releases)" and
"- SimCity Force (archive) No.10 and No.11".
Added the link to smart_speeder's site - thanks, Swesim. ;)

I guess APTX is out of commission again. I'm trying to do a major revitalization program in a depressed portion of my downtown and I had hope to use the Daimaru building as the center piece for this project. Can someone tell APTX there are more important things than spending quality time away from the computer (like keeping his creations available for us simcity nuts). :D
uhhhh Achhi has moved to http://scssdl.inukubou.com/
tho his old site does link to this one (thats how i found out :p )
Seems APTX site is down again :'(
anyone know if APTX got back online?

It has been awhile, but another addition to the list is in definitely order: S.C.4 B.A.T Works by mozukuss, which can be found at http://sc4batworks.web.fc2.com/sc4batworks.html (http://sc4batworks.web.fc2.com/sc4batworks.html) For those of us who admire the work of mozukuss-san, but never had an inkling of the artist's own home website, perhaps now we might get a direct link. Hooray!
Most of us will already have earlier goodies from mozukuss-san, including Tokyo's Shibuya 109 and Sunshine 60, which were previously posted on the SimCity Force and Yuhisa sites. The most recent addition was the breathtaking Dentsu Headquarters Building from Tokyo's Shiodome district, whose CAM models and lots under preparation for the LEX spurred me to go webhunting. Meanwhile, a Now Constructing teaser from mozukuss-san shows work continuing on the ultra-slick Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.
Ten thousand thanks to mozukuss-san!

There is 5 lots being now scrutinized by BSC, two landmark with jobs (Shibuya 109 and Dentsu HQ) and 3 other lots (growable) with two versions each, CAM version and Normal version (Sukima Sangyou Building, Sunshine 60 and Farley's Foundry HQ). Shibuya 109 has also two versions SD and HD that can be chosen when installing.
Mozukuss kindly gave permission to the BSC group to re lot and upload, both the models in Mega Packs and the new lots asking only in return that along with CAM lots, normal ones were also made. In return to his kindness, all lots where made with both languages, English or Japanese, depending on the game install setup.
Here is an image

All of them will soon be on the LEX
Here are some with Japanese names.

You can get it in

"HIDE and Seek! (link)" (http://hide-inoki.com/bbs/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=735)
Thanks a lot!
Those highway walls look nice.
Also, Snorrelli, i advise you to not link anyone to WinRar because WinRar is acting like a virus and crashed my hardrive (twice, the second time killed the hard drive for good and now i have to get a new one), and now i have to use my older computer. I have downloaded something that works even better than what WinRar can ever do and it is called ExtractNow (or something similar to that with extract and now in it) and it is freeware. (i don't remeber where i downloaded it from but it was off of the developer's website and it is safe).
Interesting. I have never had a problem with WinRAR, but I've uninstalled it now just in case.
MAS71, maybe you could help me with these few BATs highlighted in these two pictures:

Hello MAS71,
Thank you very much for taking the extra effort in helping me locate the buildings in my pictures. Very helpful!
Ironically enough, I found them right before I saw the link to your post (as well as some other neat Osaka buildings!).
Thank you very much!
I got a PM from RippleJet asking about smart_speeder´s website as it seems impossible to download his creations.
As I don´t speak Japanese I hope someone who does can alert him to this as his website works fine, but all download links seem to be stopped by Yahoo! in Japan.
Using Google translation I managed to understand that they may have been moved or that it is only accessible to members.
As there aren´t too many military aircraft designers out there it would be very much appreciated if smart_speeder was alerted to this so that he could do something about it.
Maybe he can put up his work for scrutineering here at the LEX as tabi did?

Hi.
Does anyone know what happened to the downloads for Gurry's Seawalls? They will not download.

I'm searching for these as well, as far as I can tell the file has been removed from Gurrys own website &cry2. Does anybody have another link?

I already send e-mail to

Unfortunetely, He does not activated longtime, so I don't understand that I can get his reply....

So it is a warning that the building suffers from the blank lots problem?
I thought so but got confused by the "settings type". Guess it is a translation problem. ;)

RickDDo not need to care to that. :)
A few years ago, It was one of rule(manner) of BATer in Japan that discribe to WHAT TOOL USED about those works in a site. ;)

In this case, He used the "RCI-Blank Lot Set" with "ILiveReader" and "Ploppable Lot", Its a meaning.

That's disappointing. ()sad() Thanks for letting us know MAS. It seems that are a lot of wonderful BATS and LOTS from Japan that are somewhat inaccessible to many Westerners and are at risk of being lost forever. It would be nice to figure our a way to get permission to host copies here on the LEX (or even the STEX, given the rigorous vetting required here).

um I got Kei's BATs for houses but when I tried to find them in the lot editor all I found was Maxis buildings with the same number tag that Kei's buildings had. Is there a solution to this, or am I missing something?
They're probably just props, not outright buildings. You'll find them in the prop menu.
If you want them to be Buildings, then you'll need to build a Desc file.
Here is another site you should list.
It is Moonlight's site and has a lot of really awesome things.

This is a little late, but are you looking for these:
http://www.yuhisa.com/cgi/c-board/c-board.cgi?cmd=one;no=107;id=%3E
It contains 1 that's significantly smaller than most coruscants I've seen. It's still gigantic, but it's just almost small enough for CAM...

Same here. :) I'll check often to see if there is an update.
Bipin are you sure it's the right link? Maybe you linked the wrong one?
It seems the content was indeed deleted. This is the link for one of two files I had downloaded:
https://ejz8ng.bay.livefilestore.com/y1mfxSpgGIoAZwPaYinuvY8os7-tSq1CvgxIHhvPlmhBPpmkRDFTDF7jIdykEic94b5OJ0HZW2gUKBW1lT7w8kulmvFeC3giAc6IHgaH8At0dI/Bus%20Automata.zip?download&psid=1
Perhaps it will work again some day. That's for taxi automata by the way.
If you're looking for APTX's BAT, Please refer to this table (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=361.msg427449#msg427449) ;) They were uploaded by himself.

Thought this link might be useful because as far as I know no one else has created one yet...
BriPizza has a functional rail ferry BAT (http://www.bripizza.net/sc4/1106ferry/1106ferry.html) available!
Interesting BAt, but I know there is another one out there as well.
This BAT only uses the car ferry, there is one over at Simcitypolska which uses subway to simulate the traincrossing.
I have two questions. 1: I downloaded these building. But they seem like they don't want to grow, anyone got any ideas? http://tokyo-urbanlab.jpn.org/Sim-Jpn-R-001.htm
and 2: Is there any way i can get a hold of these buildings? http://simcityedit.com/simedit/lev-bbs.cgi?bid=SC4=2-3&skin=skin/config/=/simedit/skin/config/&style=1&page=2&ppid=1211428378729345#1211428378729345
The first lot set looks like overrides of the default R$ residential lots. I'd make sure it's installed properly and that you have both packs of dependencies.
I'm not able to find download links for the second one.

Click on the word
Home on the top right corner, that will take you to the creators personal web-page where you can download them.
I agree jdenm8 and Sunset_baby
By the way, 2nd BAT.
"HOME" click => Tadasu's site => go "Download page" => The BAT you are looking for is the "町家セット1(machiya-set 1)" ;)

I really like the look of the machiya-set, but I had to remove it after a while because it seemed to take over my town and not get replaced. :/
Thanks but :D &apls .. not all of this link work now &mmm
Does anyone know where I can get the Tabinohito U.S. Navy Ships at? It appears they did not copy when I backed up for a new PC.
Any help is so greatly appreciated. I looked and looked but could not find them I have some but not all. I love Tabi's work and recently found out his site is down.

Bumping old threads! Just to say thanks for all Japanese mods links! Time for make my city was so beautiful! :D
UPDATE!!!
Some Japanese links was down! Here the another link I found it!
http://kamurai.la.coocan.jp/simcity/
Many of these seem to be down. What's going on?
All things must die &hlp
In short, a lot of this stems from the way Japanese creators distributed their works. Using individual web pages, which when the creator stopped creating were left as-is. Eventually the hosting service changes something or shuts down and next that content gets lost. In many cases the creators have moved on and are unaware of things. Some efforts were made to restore the lost content though the hide-inoki site. But the content is a lot more scattered, scarce and in some cases simply missing sadly.
I have a very lots of items from Japanese sites. Many of them died. It's very sad. But SC4 die now - SC4Devotion and Simtropolis are the last port for life. Thank you to JRJ for this website. Good luck to all.
One more detail - JRJ never asked for money with His Great Site !!! I can't transfer money to this website, you can get cash here only (Russia - Football Cup) ...
Some of the sites are down, but some of them are just changed their website.
SOMY: http://somy.gozaru.jp/
Tadasu: http://tsushinikai.com/simcity4/
Hope OP can do the corrections soon.

....duh!
I know why some websites was blocked in Russia is.... doesn't support HTTPS!!!
Checking by using this website!
https://www.comparitech.com/privacy-security-tools/blockedinrussia/
I also checking Simtropolis and look likes was blocked or not working in Russia because of HTTPS and SSL support....
Checking Sc4devotion (this forum) and the result is.... ACCESS GRANTED! Because no HTTPS and no SSL support!
it has come to my attention that the popular Japanese website hide-inoki (http://hide-inoki.com/bbs/phpbb2/viewforum.php?f=7)is now offline (as of 29/08 11h40 UTC+2). I will attempt to contact the administrator to see if this is normal or if the site is gone for good. In the later case I will ask permission to see if we can upload most of the stuff to the LEX.

That guy made some decent, pure forms buildings, but excellent train sets and planes.

Now this guy files are located at his google drives, distribute by twitter, I have encouraged the dude to get a ST or SC4D as soon as possible

All Kei buildings and props are here!

Special thanks to Wayback Machine for revive it for future mode.
I did an advanced search on Twitter for the string "drive.google.com" under satoshishi's account and I grabbed all of their files.

Edit: Screenshot included with this post was hosted on my personal website and no longer exists.
It's always a good idea to have an archive like that.
What do you plan to do with it? In any case if you want to share it on LEX or other place, you will need his authorization. :)
I'm going to keep the items for myself! I'm aware that a creator's rights should be respected and I had no desire to share them.
Hi there,
We already approached Satoshishi last year (a fellow player called @reg made contact with him) with the idea of bringing his creations to STEX and/or LEX, but he had some concerns, so for now they stay where they are on his google drive. Some of those uploads was shared on the
Simcity 4 EDIT/Force (http://simcityedit.com/simedit/lev-bbs.cgi?bid=SC4=&style=0&page=0) whatever japanese site, but most of them are available only on his google drive (from his twitter account https://twitter.com/satoshishi9 (https://twitter.com/satoshishi9) they are available after a bunch of rolling). I think it's about 27 uploads, some of them contains more models. I found this comparison image about most of his collection:

For personal safekeeping, I archived the websites listed in the first post of this thread. To do that, I used an application called Cyotek WebCopy.
https://www.cyotek.com/cyotek-webcopy (https://www.cyotek.com/cyotek-webcopy)
I used a browser extension called Save Page WE to save individual pages as HTML when it wasn't appropriate to archive the entire website.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/save-page-we/dhhpefjklgkmgeafimnjhojgjamoafof?hl=en-US (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/save-page-we/dhhpefjklgkmgeafimnjhojgjamoafof?hl=en-US)
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/save-page-we/ (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/save-page-we/)
To perform recursive extraction, I used Multi Unpacker. Multi Unpacker requires that WinRAR be installed.
https://code.google.com/archive/p/multiunpacker/ (https://code.google.com/archive/p/multiunpacker/)
I was unable to archive Gobanboshi's site, so I made downloading the files easy using a browser extension called Linkclump.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/linkclump-for-firefox/ (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/linkclump-for-firefox/)
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/linkclump/lfpjkncokllnfokkgpkobnkbkmelfefj?hl=en (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/linkclump/lfpjkncokllnfokkgpkobnkbkmelfefj?hl=en)
Edit: I used Everything to make searching for .zip files and .sc4* files within the archived websites easy.
https://www.voidtools.com/ (https://www.voidtools.com/)

I wonder if anyone managed to find Tenyu Tsubasa " Agricultural Cooperative ver1.0 "
@Kisigi We managed to recollect the files back in sept 2021, when the first came up that they were missing. There was a lot going on, but eventually we ended up sharing
Hotaryuso's files in the first post of the
STEX Custodian General Discussion Topic (https://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/758502-stex-custodian-general-support-topic/?tab=comments#comment-1718938) which collects most of the restored contents. Currently that's the last entry in the first post. It leads you to a google drive folder.
The dependency what you are looking for is this particular ZIP:
