Eng: Great work! I especially like the royal palace.
Great start to the city. The layout looks realistic, particularly the area around the Royal Palace and the embankment. The combination of roads and lots in this area is excellent. I also like the layout of the various railway lines, and the way in some areas that the development follows and respects their positions.

great update....the nightshots look so alive for nighttime! I too am interested where you found those underpasses...they look very handy, I think I have a spot for them. As always, a very well put together update!

There is a lot of space in this city. It is very good, citizens feel themselves better in such city.
I also like you use simple grass. Too much trees and parks is sometimes unrealistic.
Excellent finishing of diagonal roads by using filler pieces and fences. Generally, very good using of filler pieces.
Last update: again very elegant. Smooth slopes (I know it's a lot of work), subalpine firs looks very good. Maybe you can think about removing arrows from one-way roads?

Snaper, this is a wonderful MD with a very distinct feel to it. The road network (even if I exclude the amazing highways) is incredibly complex with sharp twists and turns - it looks great!

For me, the highway interchange is perfect.
Also, the "Sortie 23 - Paddington Est".
You used grass pieces in a very interesting way. It makes an illusion that the transition from flat terrain to slope is very soft. It looks very well in this place, especially with underpasses.

What a mosaic ! as far as I see, the New Nam seems to be a great addition to your city layout ! It's very urban, like the little detail you've put to your tramway station with thoses trees to separate it from the avenue, it's very nice !
And you've covinced me to dowload some Dutsh styled residential bats :) By the way what is the "big" old styled building we see where the tramway is turning, just in the front of the church ?

(It's hard to me to say it in English, but I will try): It seems to me you not only know very good how to build a city, but also you know very good how to make a good picture ;)
That's a nice set of pictures and it does have an English feel, although I don't know if that carry's much weight coming from an Aussie.
Just one question if I may, some of your intersections are reasonably close together, does this have an impact on traffic? Having said that, I guess there is an underlying question, whether you're designing for a visual or functional effect. Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with either, just curious thats all. In fact, that's a rather deep and meaningful question for me, I think I need a rest.

This is the best London ever, only thing what bugs me is those ugly brownish grass-pieces next to GLR, but it's the disease what no one can't cure. Excellent MD and sweetiest eyecandy for long time. No fancy photoshopping, just the game.

Snaper - this is an excellent update to close this MD's "special interest month". However, even if the month is over, I am sure many people will still pay a special interest to your fabulous MD about London. The pictures you show are absolute great, a joy to look at.

hey ! I didn't replied to this updare , shame on me, this the thrid times I see it and never drop a line .... I love the way you play with on grid and diagonal road, to create urban public space, to add more "not build" space, to get a great urban layout. The roundabout with the diagonal parking is a KILLER ! the railroad going trought the city is really great ! And alwaus think the way the tran is geting through your city is very very clever !

IMHO, There was always something "not right" with your MD and after thumbing back through it I realised that the traffic is traveling the wrong way. It was only when I saw the pic of the traffic waiting for the tram to cross that it clicked. Maybe you need to install the left hand version of the NAM to help with this oversight.
Other than that I cannot find "fault" with your wonderful creation.

snaper....it has been too long! I've found a little bit of time to comment on the great updates you've done lately. I love the detail of your glr system in your town, you've really done a fine job with the in-avenue pieces. Also, you inspire me to incorporate more diagonal roads in my city-building. It is too easy to revert to laying a grid when placing roads and I think you have definately been successful in beating that urge. Finally, I'm liking the railroad system that you are currently working on. The placement of your monster station with the beginnings of the commercial development will be interesting to track over the coming updates, I look forward to seeing what you come up with...
