Here we go again,
I have the attention span of a 4 year old, but I'm back again. :)
This will strictly be eyecandy so don't expect a great story - I just want to share my creations and hear your opinions.
These first pictures were taken in the European city of Sala and they showcase some of my recent experiments with Photoshop.
Please let me know what you think about the effects, and the pictures in general.

Very nice. Good effects with photoshop
Those are some hardcore basketball players ::) :D :D
:satisfied:
TTC
Yes, very beautiful effects there with photoshop!
Great work on Sala! The second picture is looking fantastic (of course others, too!)!
Looking forward to more random eye candy, bigberta!
How could I go past an MD called 'Random Eyecandy'!
That Photoshoping is seriously good and the city building is top shelf too- I'll be watching this one for sure! The way you've set out the town just looks so realistic. &apls
Top notch as usual.
The photoshopping is very original. I like the effect you used on the buildings.
Replies:
TheTeaCat - Thanks. Glad you like the effects. Hehe I guess they really like to play basketball :)
bat - Kind as always :) Hope you'll like this update too.
Cockatoo-210893 - Hehe I know, it makes you curious doesn't it? ;) Im glad you like the layout of my city and not just the photoshopping. Thanks
Mulefisk - Thank you very much, I'd like to think so too :)
Update 1:
I've always wanted to post a mosaic and now that time has come.
The mosaic features my attempts to create water effects. I must say that Im not completely sure about them, but it's the best I can do :)
Let me know what you think.

Really superb this mosaic &apls &apls
very beautiful Germanic style, the batches of marrast are very well used !
The effect to bring to the image is very successful, I congratulate you ;)
I am impatient to see your update 2 .
&apls And what a fantastic first mosaic it is bigberta. The more I see euro-style development, the more I like it. The water effects are cool, the only thing is that the light looks like it's coming from under the water and not from the moonlight.
Very nice bigberta, the image manipulation is superb.
I also like the fact that unlike most plopped cities your city has life to it,
How do you achieve the fog bigberta? I am very interested in knowing how you do this.
Spectacular pictures there &apls
I take it you have photohop? :P
w2w development is unique and so is the pavement.
I like how this is shaping up bigberta!

First of all, thank you. I'm glad you like my pictures.
The fog was created using photoshop. I just added a layer and rendered some clouds on it. (filter/render/clouds)
Then I just set the layer blending option to one that looks good. Finally I adjust the opacity of the layer to make it look more natural.
if you have any more questions just pm me and I'll try to answer them.
That mosaic is looking very great, bigberta! Great development on that area of your nice city! ;) :)
Thank you very much Bigberta, I'll try to keep up with all of your updates!

warconstruct - Thank you. Your wait is over now :)
blade2k5 - Thanks. I agree about the water. I'm not completely satisfied with the look. Tell me what you think about the new pictures.
bighead99999 - :) yes I have photoshop, and I like it very much. I'm glad you like my pictures, thank you.
bat - Thanks buddy.
callbat - Glad to be of assistance.
Update 2:
More of the same... I hope I'm not boring you with my w2w pictures, but they're my favorite kind :)
The city of Sala is coming along nicely as I will try to demonstrate with this update.
Enjoy!

Very beautiful it works is really splendid and realistic &apls
I like much the effects brought to the images, especially that of the rain.
The tunnel is him also very an good idea, especially that to cross the rivers in this manner is not always amusing !
impatient to see some more ;)
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wow thats ace... especaily that curve of rail in the 2nd , WOW
Joe
Wonderful new work on the W2W!!! Fantastic pictures of it!!!
again some very good pictures from you. i also like the curved rails and the rain looks very real.
the way you photoshoped the water is a thing i do not really like. i think its a way the water would look like in a closer view
excelent work &apls
paul
Another splendid update, you continue to amaze me!
&apls
All three updates are fantastic. Your Photoshopping skills are great and I wonder what that effect is, as I am not very good at PSing.
Do you think for the next update we could see some more of that train station and some higher over all views of the areas you have completed, please.
Robin
Magnificent work, as always, bigberta! I can't wait to see what you've got for us next!
Dustin

rooker1 - Thanks. I like to try out different things in photoshop and I'm glad you like it.
I hope you get what you're looking for with this update :)
callbat - Wow, those are some kind words :) Thank you
squidi - Thanks. I totally agree about the water. That's just me experimenting :) I've yet to find the perfect look.
Although pretty much anything is better than the in-game water :)
bat - Thank you very much
star.torturer - Thanks, it's much appreciated.
warconstruct - Thank you, no need to be impatient any more :)
Update 3:
I got some requests after my last update, namely by our friend robin :), and I'll do my best to oblige.
These pictures are all of the city of Sala (still, I'm only working on that city at the moment) and show some new developments and the area around the railroad tracks.
No more pictures of the train station itself, yet...
Enjoy!

This newly developed area is the most dense in the city, so far anyway. I guess you could call it downtown.

Nothing new here really. Was going for an evening sun feeling.
great new pictures and now i like the water much more
I love the way you've laid out the railroads, my friend. The NAM rail curves look great, as do the rest of your pictures! Your Photoshop skills are amazing!
I'll be looking forward to your next update!
Dustin
Thanks for fullfilling my little request. ;) Great pics. I love the rail curves and the use of Buddybud's pieces. Your PS skills always amaze me.
I, too, look forward to your next update.
Robin
Very very nice pictures you have there, bigberta! Also great area around the train station! And the railways are looking fantastic, too! The water is looking beautiful! Looking forward to more... ;)

bat - Thank you very much
Update:
Well it's not really an update, it's actually a teaser. Sala keeps crashing on me, so I've moved on to create a new city. It's still very much european, but this one has some tall buildings, some of which can be seen in this teaser.
I'll have a proper update ready in a few days, hopefully...
Enjoy!

That night shot is looking great! And wonderful use of these buildings! Nice rain effect, too!
Excellent job in your last update I especially enjoyed the picture with the train station.
Ooh I love the post-production on the imagery. Not to mention the eyecandy itself!
Big Berta wonderful Eyecandy here and you are doing such a great job and I look forward to seeing more...
It's been a while but here I am.
New city; inspired by Paris this time. The city is called Debonair. Enjoy!
Teaser:

I like it alot! Cant wait to see what the rest of Debonair looks like :)
Its good to see you back in action.
I agree with nedalezz.
Perfectly setup, very nice scene and not too much photoshoping.
I hope you enter this one in the SC4 Picture Contest. ;)
I can't wai to see more of this beautiful city.
Robin
The name of the city has a sleezy ring to it - but the picture is very nice.... so much details you put in there - just excellent. :satisfied:
Debonair looks beautiful, bigberta! Welcome back, my friend!
stunning new pic bigberta!!!!
Replies:
nedalezz - Thank you, it's good to be back.
rooker1 - Thanks. I might enter it in the contest, but I'll probably pick something else :)
sebes - Thank you. Don't like the name, huh? I chose it mainly because of the people who live in the city could be described as debonair; of good lineage or disposition. They would have to be to afford to live in one the extremely expensive city :)
thundercrack83 - Thank you, it's good to be back.
Pat - Thank you very much.
Update:
A showcase of different parts of Debonair, enjoy.

The canal was originally built to protect the central parts of the city from intruders. Several parts has since been covered by roads and avenues, but this part of the canal still looks like it did a hundred years ago.

This is the busiest avenue junction in the entire city. It's located in the north western part of the city.
I love that last shot!!

Bellevue was built in the sixties. It is located where the dense Haussmann style city ends in the north. Here seen facing south.
Thats it for this time. And for the love of God, comment! ;)
These pictures are absolutely breath taking.
I think one day I may try to make a European city, with all these fantastic BATs I see in your city, how could I go wrong. Your city setup, skills in photoshop and overall presentation of your MD are all top notch. Great job and I now know that if the picture is by you, it's going to be great.

Robin
That "Debonair by night" pic (hehe, the area that I commented on before) is really, really cool! Not only do I like the prespective used on the "wide side" of the roundabout (left side of the pic), I really love how you've added open spaces in very dense zones!
Sorry for missing some updates!
And the teaser is looking wonderful!
Also the other pictures are looking excellent! Like the added effects on them!
Looking forward to more of your updates...
