A day in Tallinn.

Capitol of Estonia features one of the biggest and best preserved/survived medieval Hanseatic/Renaissance (albeit a Nordic version of it) towns. It is very charming place for a summer day stroll.
The pictures were made last summer. so here we go...

Tallinn and Estonians are very different than most people think they should be. Don't believe all the racist jokes!
It is a bit funny but the city I live in nowadays - Helsinki is there only because of Tallin, or Revel as it was know in those days (XVI century) when Swedish King Gustav Vasa had found it to fight the Revel. Sweden was in a long and growling war with Hansa and Helsinki (Helsingfors) was set to destroy Tallinn.
