If you don't know which flag is Australia and which is New Zealand, get off our board.  :D

Team Downunder is a place for New Zealand and Australian creations at SC4D. We want to build a community to create custom content just for our two little countries at the bottom of the world ("speak for yourself", I hear the Australians saying...). At any rate, we hope to make this the foremost place for creating Australian and New Zealand themed content, and we already have some cool projects planned, like the NZ Parliament Buildings and Australian Parliament but we need more people to collaborate with. Anyone who wants to contribute can sign up to be considered, in the Candidacy thread (which can be found just next to this one). We also have a few other things going already, so look out for stuff happening in the Creations Board.

We currently have 6 members:

  • adroman Team Leader
    • joelyboy911 Deputy Team Leader
      • dobdriver (who uploads maps to the STEX under the alias drunkapple)
        • thingfishs
        • fayrov
        • mrdazza_460

Now that Joel's got an overview up, I'm going to give you a bit of history...

...*Groans*...

Well, way back when (actually October this year, 2009)  Joel and I were discussing a colaboration to produce a few odds and ends that were missing from the game. However, the pipe dream grew and grew and on one afternoon dobdriver posted his first Map on the STEX, now we didn't think much of it, but as the collaboration idea grew it evolved into a Team Dream (and I failed Poetry  $%Grinno$%!), we relised that others would be more than willing to help us in our Epic Quest... So, Joel PMed dobdriver (drunkapple at Simtropolis) the team was 'born'...

Now, just last week I PMed Jeronij just to see how much farther we had to go to become a proper 'Team', after a quick questionnaire, I woke up to a God Almighty shock... we had our own board...

On the 12th of November, we initiated a new member, thingfishs. An aspiring BATter, starting out on his first project.

And here we are...
I'll add to this as more members are accepted.

737s, Air Force, Australia... what next?
