Given the trend probably way off but I'll stick with the bday hunch; june 28th, 22:47 GMT+1

Nice work on the switches. Did you also make STR to TTR? Not sure if I've seen those around. Then again, I haven't looked very far back yet. And I was wondering the same as Noah about pathing et al. Excitedly awaiting trains on wide curves.  ;)

Okay, after 5 minutes with my questionable maths skills, I'm going to guess the 18th of March at midday, Greenwich Mean Time. :)

I'm working on textures and puzzle pieces today.

Nothing to show yet, so here's a reminder of what's done already.

More ahead today.  Thanks for the great turnout for the Million Views Contest.

UPDATE:  Adding in some fine details.  I also found a switch I missed.

Watch this space!

UPDATE2:  Another one that was among the missing.

I won't kid you- I'm glad these are (mostly) done.

ok ok I give up already!!!

Absolutely incredible what you bring to the game... the only thing better is what you bring to this community!  &apls  :satisfied:

Welcome back David!

I know I am not alone in acknowledging how sorely this community missed you:

Being that it was only 4 days and 4 pages ago that we hit 900,000 views... and as I post it's now at 906552... I think it's going to happen before we blink! ;D

Again, so good to 'have' you back  :sunny: ()flower()

EDIT:  Oh, Tamara, you are waaaaaay too kind.  I'm just so glad to be back among such great friends.  That I can give back a bit is just gravy.

Speaking of giving back, I'll dedicate this one to you.

I have a pretty fair headache, so it's an early night.

I did get these done over the past hour or so, and I think that's it for the TTR basic puzzle piece set.

Your DTR-TTR transition, vortext, is actually already complete.  There's a pic with trains on it a few posts down.

Night, all.

Awesome textures David, I'm shaking in anticipation :D

Just wondering if you're planning TTR to 2x DTR (standard rail?) track switches.
How about a TTR to DTR that doesn't merge the third lane, but instead leaves it as a siding? I know we have some of these around here (though it might be accomplished via a TTR to DTR+STR track switch, as the siding is usually a little away from the main tracks.

Rady - March, 28th, 0815 hrs p.m. GMT (Question the time, am or pm)

Uhhm .. it says pm ..? Maybe I should have spared the "dots" for something else ..  %wrd

True, it does say p.m. but the way you wrote 0815 hrs means am, usually.  2015 hrs means pm.  I just wanted to be sure what you wanted. - Robin  ;)
If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It's much easier to apologize than it is to get permission.

Planning on making a TTR - STR transition ? I think i've not yet seen it.

Anyway, great looking X crossings. I can't wait to put my hand on this jewel.

Wow, it's been a busy start to your year indeed  :D

JoeST covered the most important missing stuff in my opinion. It would be great to have TTR-2xDTR pieces (Ortho TTR to parallel DTR, Ortho TTR to ortho DTR + diag DTR, and Ortho TTR to ortho DTR + FAR-3 DTR). More transitions from TTR to DTR+STR would also be nice, along the lines of the last picture of your big post which I think you said was your favorite of the set (Ortho TTR to ortho STR + 90-degree-curved DTR).

Thanks for all this amazing work once again  &apls
