This is my first MD ever made

My first great MD ever I hope you enjoy. I made a picture of my intersection you don't see the whole intersection.
Next time I will come with a city picture and a story about this but, I have only made this intersection because it was  very hard to make it. There aren't any civilians yet so it's just a intersection. Next You will hear more of me.

My first great update like I said

Today I started with my airport. It is the biggest airport I ever made See pictures below
The airport is called Nassair that's very logical because the island's name is Nassau. It is a very large international airport but it's not yet finished as you can see. ;)
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.plaatjesupload.nl%2Fbekijk%2F2009%2F07%2F21%2F1248186803-840.png&hash=53f4870f51ac8ef61edb54dce933e8b69e55ad83)

I also made a park in Nassau. This park hasn't got much trees but it has more attraction and there is a big station on the behind side of the park
I have two pictures of it
The last one is a little bit wird sorry for that

It is update 3.
In the morning was my game crashed  :angrymore: I was very luckely that i could Play Simcity4 a hour later, although I have enough pictures for update 3   ()stsfd(). But Nassair is in the crash deleted by the computer  :'(. So tomorrow or a few days later you will see a very new nice airport of me a little smaller than the one I had. But Nassau was not deleted so I played further with Nassau and I could make a tram in the time there was left. You will see a few pictures of it below. It is a city now with 40000 people and 15% is tram in/on avenue/road. You will only see the beautifulliest things. There are more beautiful things but that's for tomorrow. I have also made a park from Jeronij's canals I hope you enjoy the pictures  ;)

Nice start!  I can tell you're putting a lot of time into this.  SC4 crashes are such a pain, I'm pretty careful to back up my regions regularly as a result.  I really like that pond in the latest update!

@driftmaster07 ; Thanks my friend

@nexis4jersey ; I Hope you enjoy also this update and the next because of the tram in road

@battlecat ; Thanks you very much

@Tomas Neto ; Thanks and yes I have all my pictures and data from when I began

Yesterday I was thinking of a very huge marina. That marina is the length of a normal tile. We have so big marina because Nassau is a island so everyone has a boat. I have a few pictures of it and then can you see how big it's gonna to be. I also made a fortified building as you can see on the picture. And in Nassau is my first high commercial. As you can see there is a tram in road in that fortified building so people don't have to walk to there offices on the fortified building/castle

Here are the pictures
This is the marina

This is going to be a very great update because it is the 5th update
I have a few things to show you
-rice fields of Naussa
-CBD of Nassau
When I wake up I saw the news and I read on Nassau Times that there was big panic. I as mayor of Nassau was very confused; How could this happen. Then I went to my labaratory to think about the problem with a few people who think they had the brains for it and 2 hours later they came with a solution. Let's make rice fields  ()what() yes that was what I thought. So I start with the building Naussa this was a very big hill with very much rice fields. And a water reservoir to provide the island from water also Nassau that get's his water from big tanks. And then when a few rice fields were ready we could trade our rice and the economy was rising as you can see of my CBD.I think you can better see the pictures.

Ikea superstore at tram in road

A great new MD you have here Peter. I like what you do with Nassau.. I guess it's the first city in the world with an IKEA superstore downtown *lol*. Well, probably they location scouts from Sweden had to a few too many rice beers when they signed the ground lease contract :) .  The airport is very nice.  I'll follow your MD for sure.....

I'd be interested in knowing what the particular raised park set you are using is- I like the appearance of the stone.

Welcome by special update 8 ; The historical CBD

Today I made pictures of my historical CBD. They're with so many pictures that i made a selection of it. I'm going to let show you this things
-Roundabout
-my historical raised parks
-station
but first the stock exchange
The historical CBD is built in Year 1256. The building was only 8 metres high but it was a good defence 500 years later the building was expanded to 40 metres (highest point) Then when people in 1958 saw that the fortress was a useless castle. So they cleaned the castle and built some houses in it and in 1998 they chanched the castle in a great CBD  with everything in it.
I think you should look to the pictures.

Our stock exchange is the second biggest of the island because the biggest is from Royal city of Nassau.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg119.imageshack.us%2Fimg119%2F9517%2Fthesplitofnassau23jul46.png&hash=a5376309a3d71675d7ce5cf51f66fc6d6d5aba47)

We also have a station that station is build in the castle so it fits perfect on it.

Hi peter007

Looking at the last update, I like the layout of your farms and use of the stonewalls and wooden fences.

I see you asked about a decent grass mod. There are plenty of terrain mods out there that will give you varying looks, and we all have our favourites. But if you are looking for that special look, you still need to add your own touches as you have in pic 5. There are a few good mayor mode grass plopables (that's a mouthful :D ) and if you need some links let me know.

Keep up the good work (but turn that grid off  ;) )

Cheers

Dave

thomas neto ; thanks, you're welcome too

nexis4jersey ; thanks, And that CBD has a lot of time

The royal Islands of Nassau a lovely place to stay in hotel as yo can see on update 8 but there are a few things missing. First we don't have enough capacity to send all our post and commodities. Second we haven't enough industrial to provide our population with food and other stuff so I want to have a new seaport a one who is indestructable with the sea and has so much industry to provide all the islands of Nassau so I made this.
Ladies and gentlemen I can present you a part of Port of Nassau

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg41.imageshack.us%2Fimg41%2F3443%2Fportnassau22mrt00125148.png&hash=eb239f579421fee63f8ef592eae744f083377bab)

And on Nassau there is coming a small port to but with much more rails as you can see

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg41.imageshack.us%2Fimg41%2F3361%2Fnassau1mrt041251280491.png&hash=0176f74ef93bbfd50d0a9c19d5b7cc13f31fff44)

We also have a new military base so if someone attack us we are prepared I have two pictures of it
- a full overview
- our depots
all the other stuff is in secret

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg44.imageshack.us%2Fimg44%2F3197%2Foudflasengo16jun0412513.png&hash=201b470d924f7595309ba38b7838ea90b0f559ba)

It's a shame that the fence textures not suffice

See you later over a week in The Royal Islands of Nassau
because I have a sailcamp with my scouting

EDIT:Does someone know a good oil refinery or something like that

Post by: peter007 on September 10, 2009, 08:29:10 AM
Welcome back to The royal Islands of Nassau. We have some tragically news our goverment building is hard up. The flames were to big to extinguish. We miss now 789 people which the president.
And our whole ministry. They could not go away of the building in fire. So we need a new minstry. Wich is a new president and new ministers. So The people can vote for a new minister president. Than our next minestry goverment building will relotted by me will build in Nassau Centraal I will post you how Nassau centraal looks if the building is finished. we don't have blueprints or something like that. So it's a surprise for the people of our nation. I can tell you secret it will build on raised walls as you can see on update 8

I see some great work here, but can you please change your png pictures to jpg pictures as soon as possible or I will have to remove them.
Please review the rules for the MD section as well.

GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is probably the most popular free program you can use to change the format of pictures.

III. Rules for Authors

8. All images will be hosted by an offsite hosting service or other server.  Authors are requested to consider that not every reader has broadband Internet access, and should seek, consistent with maintaining reasonable image quality, to minimize the size in kilobytes of images accordingly. Please note that, while not a rule, we do make a strong recommendation that the max width of any image be 800 pixels, as well as being in the .JPG format.  Use wider images and other picture formats (.PNG, .GIF, etc.) when necessary, albeit sparingly, since in most instances making a pic bigger does not make it better.
