Ozleworth, St. Nicolas Church
« on: May 17, 2021, 02:45:14 AM »
When I stumbled upon this town - first I thought I'm inside a Harry Potter Movie. But everything is real and beautiful.

Some parts of this church - the polygonal tower f.e. - dates before the gothic era, it's normanic style, which I first learned about during my time in southern italy and sicily where Normans were in charge for about one hundred years. At the same time this beautiful country church was first build in Ozleworth, Gloucestershire, England.

So it's deepest middle ages. Middle middle ages. More middle ages it won't get. Never ever.

I never been there but from pictures it seems the whole district is exceptional picturesque may giving batters good inspiration.

So even we have some very beautiful churches already I just post this finding for the sake of inspiration and beauty.
