Post by: vester on February 19, 2016, 04:54:05 PM
Want to share some of the channels with 3ds Max modelling I am watching/have watched.

Let start out with the official one:
Autodesk 3ds Max Learning Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClS3gPxzFYgTUz6JOIruyqA)

Chris Murray from Autodesk:
3dsmaxtrainer (https://www.youtube.com/user/3dsmaxtrainer)

Mike Pickton (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl-_vaauUDOpvL1HiEKi0AQ)
Here I like to point out his play list: 100 tips for 3ds max (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL151AFF1271C3F81C)
Beside that I want to point out the following videos:
Baking normals, AO and more in 3ds Max (render to texture) (https://youtu.be/frPuPNA0daY)
3DS Max Composite maps and decals  (https://youtu.be/Fx_zuZQUxvo). How to break up repetitious textures.

Zwisk100 (https://www.youtube.com/user/Zwisk100/videos?sort=dd&shelf_id=0&view=0)
A 3ds Max/SimCity channels

Mr. Bluesummers' (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWEICNKXlFv4z8sHz6-D_QQ).

Paul Fatkins (https://www.youtube.com/user/paulfatkins3987/videos)
He works a lot with modifier and use the animate function in them to make it easier to go back a change things.
I learned a lot from his first 8 videos. Themes here are Parametric design and organic design.

General 3ds Max modelling and some parametric, some used the plug-in Para.
Some of the videos are in Germans, some are in English. Now you have been warned.

DesignReForm (https://www.youtube.com/user/DesignReForm/videos)
Videos on 3ds Max as well as Revit. There are all on the theme of Parametric design.
