wow, i just saw that church. its amazing! the detail is extraordinary and the textures look perfect!!

I hope you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to get such perfect looking textures on those round cone-shaped roofs? I tried to texture some cones recently and they were a mess. I was hoping there was some secret rather than just trial-and-error.

In any case, beautiful job! :D

Sorry for my late absence but RL has been a little hard this last months.

For those who have asked... Versailles and Crillon are on hold because of some missing textures I haven't located yet, hopefully I'll find them when I have the time to look in my old back up CD's. In any case, there's still a lot of work to be done on them.

@CarmineHilton: Yes, I've been making a little set of green houses inspired in Laeken as per Emperor Stormont's request. The structures are done, but the flora filling inside is what's holding me up from finishing it. About your suggestion, that's actually been in my mind, I took some pics of it in my trip last summer which might come helpful, but I wouldn't make the whole complex as it is quite large, I was thinking perhaps only an abridged version of the hemicycle with the arch.

Anyhow, here's a little project I managed to start this weekend, hope to finish it during the week as it is pretty simple. Let's see if you can guess...(Side view) ;D

Little clue... no surprise in here... it is a Berlin building

I take advantage of the fact that most Europeans are sleeping now. :D
It looks like Berlin State Opera.
Great that you are back again!

Looks excellent!

Can you do a different version without that green roof (maybe a flat roof) i would use it in my MD if not a problem  :)

DebussyMan

Stunning as always. I like the stone detail above the columns at the main entrance. Did you model that or is just a really good texture?

DebussyMan

Spa: Thanks a lot, the pediment is actually a texture  :P

BTE, Here's the final version:
