To all of those who guessed correctly, I've placed a statue with your face on the west portal as a reward  ;)

That is so cool, I only wish we could see that in-game.
Great work as ever DB, I can't wait to get this beauty in-game.

Texture's working for me
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Looks great! Can I be a gargoyle??  ;D

It's an incredible work you are making debussyman ! You're the king for cathedrals  &apls

Strechnitz

a wonderfull progress on the cathedral Debussyman. I believe that the stonetexture is just right for the building. I would not change it into a darker or lighter version. this texture emphasises the sheer age of the reverend building. At least in my opinion ;D

I look forward to its progress.

Strechnitz.

babuloziwad / adj Above perfection in SC4; Dude, this MOD is ~ !

Antoine

Wow excellent progress !!! But we can see on the real photo that the cathedral is more "white" no ?

spa

I'm always amazed by the level of detail that you put into your work. This one is shaping up to be another masterpiece.

Schulmanator

The real one is whiter, perhaps, but I like the gray look. It gives it the look of fine age and looks fantastic!  :satisfied:

Thanks all. The texture is indeed darker on purpose, so it doesn't look that "new", given that the renderer usually makes textures look brighter than they really are.

Here's another update. Slow but safe, the nave, we don't want it to happen like Beauvais. ;)

Hey , Debussyman , d'you think everybody is a cathedral expert ? Cathedral of Beauvais ... hmm ...

Never achieved . Two collapses , in 1284 & 1573 ... the highest Gothic core of the world ... 72,5 meters . I didn't have the occasion/chance to visit it ... maybe the most impressive considering that it would have been one of the most vaste building ( in terms of volume for a single room) of the world .

The place is saved in my MD for cathedral of Chartres ... but I have to admit that an unfinished cathedral would have a particular flavor ..... ::)

I don't dare to hope this is your next project .

Breathtaking work on Chartres' one ... as always .
