&apls Great progress . I really enjoy the evolution of your work.

hmm... Been a long time since an update...  &mmm

But this is looking amazing!  Make sure you give the base as much detail as you give the rest of the building, the base is a very important part of the casino.    &apls

RLS is really biting I'm afraid, and I can't really get enough time to sit down and concentrate on this without the life shoving itself in.  But once I have settled properly back into Uni life and got some assignments complete I'll get back on track! Sorry once again guys!

Pat

That's looking pretty spiffy. Good to hear things have settled down a bit. I'll be keeping an eye out for new developments.

rushman5

I love the drastic and overdone style, it's typical of casinos, continue your work-please!

kimcar

Glad your free  ;D I guess it was hard to not had time to play. As for your work , still excellent and i can`t wait for develloppement. I find it very good already so i`m not good for give an opinion for helping you , cause i don`t know how to bat. Anyway keep it up.

Pat:  Yes indeed it was about time, and I have set myself a personal task which is almost to be realised thanks to the marvelous efforts of the BSC team especially babry, bless her.

threestooges: Thankyou!!

rushman5: It's tough, but I enjoy doing them.  Many people have advised me on starting small rather than going grand and massively huge, and I appreciate thier input, really, but my only purpose that had me like a tonne of bricks was to BAT the Las Vegas Strip becuase quite simply no one had except one or two casinos, and The Home Reigon had pushed me to the point of having some sort of gambling metropolis.

kimcar: It gets really tough some time around my freind, and just becuase you can't bat doesn't mean you can't give ideas for improvements, trust me, I have a to-do list already but really don't mind adding to it, and if that wasn't enough to tell you how much I feel...

Anyway here is an update for SC4D who are tracking this...

Day - Loads still yet to do but the complexity and detailing is taking form.

Night - Again plenty to do light night windows and the base - I have loads of ideas whirrling around my mind on how to accomplish that!

Unfortunatly, size concerned, it is looking like another big upload.  I haven't quite mastered the ploygons but it is a step up from Volume 1, which became a total nightmare.

Any input, "That looks really bad how about trying this..."'s are all appreciated and welcome.

Neal.

Out of curiousity of scale and whatnot, what are the xy dimensions of the building (game tiles)? It seems like it will be a fairly sizeable facility (not a surprise considering it's a casino). On the roof in the night pic, on the very beginning of the lower right wing, there appears to be a light leak coming out from under the wall. Aside from that, it looks pretty clean from that angle. Having lived in Nevada (not Vegas but Reno) for 6 or so years, it's neat to see these things getting BATted. Keep it up, I'll look forward to more.

Pat

Neal you are doing a great job!!! No need to fear my friend!!!

threestooges: An answer to your question it is roughly 7x8 tiles at the moment, and with the lower base of the complex to BAT and the individual tower, give or take a few, I'm guessing the final numbers could be 12 x 12? I saw the light leak when you spoke of it, and thanks for pointing out before it became a real issue.

Pat: Thankyou, well, you can never be too confident in these things... Something always crops up that you didn't notice before.

&apls Still good progress my friend. Just asking , is that in your plan some of these day  ;D to do the Luxor one. Have a nice construction.

Nealos101

To do Luxor Las Vegas, you mean... Bahiti, Las Ventura?? Yes, it is indeed on my to-do list.

A quick update for you to show you I'm getting somewhere:

That light leak is a tricky one, I will have to use a bigger weapon to zap it. And I still have to reselove the error list... Hmmm... I must consider fixing those first before I continue if not before I start the Base...

Pat

WOW!!! is all i got to say Neal......

Good progress. I'm not sure what else you would do up there, but it looks like something might fit in the middle part (though I don't really think it would be necessary). Keep it up.

I mean this one . Great if is this one. I guess is a nice challenge to do . Anyway you are the Casino builder.  ;D Nice detail on the roof btw. See u

Nealos101

Pat: Hehe, thankyou, it is appreciated.

threestooges: The main HVAC units will go up there and the ventilation for the elevator shaft in the form of a pretrusion and a couple of little fans. That is about it for that part, I still need to do a bit of work on the sides and then see about fixing up the textures. But thanks for commenting anyway.

kimcar: That indeed is the one I was thinking of, and it shall be called Bahiti, Las Ventura.

Nealos101

Another update emcompassing some more detailing which (STILL) isn't complete just yet, although I am showing you that I've begun playing around with the textures in responce to earlier critiques, let me know what you guys think if anything is too dark or light please ok?

Day - Everything that needs to be textured has been textured

Night - Hmm?

Thats all for now folks!

Neal.
