So I've got Wine working on my MacBook Pro (10.6.8 Intel Core 2 Duo) and wanted to try installing the Lot Editor to play with it, but I can't get the installer.exe file to work. I get an "unable to read registry" error.

Has any Mac user been able to get the LE to work at all?
I never could get the hang of signatures....

I don't know about the Maxis LE, but you may be able to use PIMX and its included Lot Editor on WINE. Just make sure you also install the necessary dll dependencies.
