Great update Derry. What I like the most in your pictures is the combination of housing and fields, with the bended roads. It gives your pictures such a natural charm. The mosaic in the December 2nd update was a perfect example of that (except that I dislike that shopping basket building  &mmm)....

Hello Derry,

Looking at your last update I have very pleasant feeling - it's like visiting an old friend after a long time  ;)

You a great ambience using simple elements, not much people can do it

Great mosaic and update Derry,

Ennedi is right, that you give your town a very nice feel.

Love the Monkey Retreat and would really like to know where those high security fences came from ;)  I could make good use of those.

You deserve the whole kettle for that update!

All the best,

Paul

... a barrel of monkeys!

No wonder the Monkey Island Tourism Bureau issued you this:(Pic of visa removed for tidiness)

Your Majesty is too kind. The official Golden kettle Has been brought out for this

Well Derry, what a wonderful update....the little frieght yard / industrial park is
perfect and I love the farms....very well thought out and done....The kind of town I
would love to live in.....but alas, I'm much to tall to fit in those little buildings...

Duane

great to see you again Duane  thanks- your comments mean a lot to me.
QuoteThe kind of town I would love to live in
..   thats what i was aiming
for  ;) But don't worry about the small buildings - I'm sure we could ask some talented
BATter to rescale one of the building for you  ;D

Sebes thanks so much for your comments. They meant a lot (especially as they arrived
on a dark :( day for me).

Now that shopping Basket building -  Well some people like it and some don't, thats
ok. its a great BAT by simgoober and heres the funny thing I don't really like it
myself but its the first time I ever recieved it as a reward so I had to use it.
Finding the location for it was difficult to say the least but I think it works in the
end.

Its not a building I would plop even for aesthetic purposes but everytown has a
building which some like and others can't stand  so it is the same in the world of MD's

Now for all you patient people here are the pics

Consider this - Due to gravitational effects, you weigh slightly less when the moon is directly overhead.

Consider this - 1 in every 200 people is a psychopath and they look just like everyone else.

Consider this - The name Wendy was made up for the book Peter Pan. There was never a recorded Wendy before.

Consider this - It is possible to lead a cow upstairs but not downstairs.

Consider this - The only 15 letter word that can be spelled without repeating a letter is "uncopyrightable".

Consider this - Crocodiles swallow stones to help them dive deeper.

Consider this - Consuming chocolate was once considered a sin during the 16th and 17th century.

Consider this - Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.

Consider this - 25% of women think money makes a man sexier.

Consider this - The longest one-syllable words in the English language are "strengths" and "screeched"

Consider this - The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.

Consider this - The ant, when intoxicated, will always fall over to its right side.

Consider this - Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing.

Consider this - There are only four words in the English language which
end in "-dous": tremendous, horrendous, stupendous, and hazardous.

And heres a good puzzle for you thinkers.

There is only one word in the English language that ends in the letters 'mt'

I'll even give a clue...

_ _ _ _ m t.

who's up for the challenge?

Did you like this update let me know. if you didn't tell me too. Thats the way things

get better, well till the next time I'm off to make a cuppa ;)
