Hello all!
Today, I want to present you my village, where I live, to present the Americans what looks like France (particullary the french country)
We begin by a little series:

We begin by the Town Hall of Gorcy, an old castle:



Then, the church (we can see it on the Gorcy's Wiki page in french)



Then, it's a monument to the ruthlesses of the First Mondial War:



The military cemetery:



The soccer terrain:



The enter of the villag from the belgium (the village is next to the frontier, and we're 20km from Luxembourg. We call that the "Trois-Frontières"):

It is, so, so small!  ;D

Looks like and reminds me of rural South Africa, very beautiful, very clean, but very small and lonely :(

Could almost be a small town in rural New Zealand, too, except the buildings are all older (In France). And the football pitch would be a rugby field!

Nice photos there Guillaume, greatly done ! Mais une seule petite chose, essaye de na pas faire de photo en contr-jour, je trouve que ça gache un peut !  ;)

Glad you posted these photos, Sciurus - I can see why you're proud of your little village. The French countryside is beautiful - Il'll bet some of the scenes could almost be reproduced in the game! :)

Art > Hé bien, ces photos datent de l'année dernière, et j'étais pas très expérimenté on va dire $%Grinno$%. De plus, je les avais prises le matin, donc j'étais en face du soleil. Mais je pense que je vais essayer d'en reprendre en fin d'après-midi aujourd'hui :thumbsup:

Eh ben ça! C'est pas souvent que je croise des personnes de mon coin sur les forums! Pierrepont tu dis? C'est quoi ton nom de famille? Et tu habites où actuellement? (MP stp ;))

Oh boy ...

Your pictures make me homesick as hell ... It's not the Lorraine (or Lothringen) but the Northern Blackforrest (Nordschwarzwald  / Le Nord du Forêt Noire) but there's a great autumn there - unlike Istanbul where the leaves just turn from green to brown ...
