As far as I can see, freight trucks going in one FLUP and exiting a few tiles to the left on the another one?

Notice something interesting? ;D

Also known as the Fragile FLUP...
Unless you are using route under rail FLUPS to connect the two FLUP ramps...

Terring7

Both you have right, both underpasses are connected by road-under-rail FLUPS ;D

Amasing as usual, Haljackey. Your style is easily recognizable.

Ha, thanks!

Made a new video showing some fancy interchanges and intersections, and the traffic that uses them. :P

Quick question for you, Hal - where'd you get the crosshatching feature on the TuLEPs / NWM transitions?

Ah, that's a texture overlay but it only works for the TuLEPs. I think I got it on Simtropolis. (Yet can't seem to find it after a good search. I'll let you know if I can find it.)

I'm still hoping for a retexturing mod for the NWM so the yellow dashed lines are on the outside, and have turn lane markings in the centre.

Nice video, Hal! these intersections (and traffic jam : ;D )  looks great!

Searching the STEX just for TuLEP got me this:

(it will have no effect on the short coming 3 tile wide TuLEPs)

From a city in the planning stages; this is a large  twin double-decker bridge similar in concept to NYC's George Washington Bridge.

With the new NAM! :)

Upgrading from 5 lanes of one-way traffic in each direction to 3 lanes of one-way traffic in each direction WITH a 6 lane freeway sprawling through downtown and not interrupting the traffic below! :)

Here is how somewhat the 5 lanes of opposing traffic looked BEFORE the highway upgrade! (Not the exact location, but exact the same lines).

The Freeway ends at the park because I didn't want to destroy the only green I had left in downtown! haha... the park in the bottom photo [towards the left] is the same in the top photo. MAYBE one day I'll have a sprawling freeway through downtown and the park will become an interchange. Who knows! haha

Gotta love the NAM team! :)

A RHW-8S splits up in 2 RHW-4... then they become 2 DDRHW-4... then this massive intersection happens:

Thank you, NAM Team! :D

Mind-boggling creations guys!

Here's my first creation with RHW 5.0.

Great pic Hal, but i was curious, It seems to me there are a few too many light towers. But otherwise, very nice :)

I don't know why but I can't get a RHW-6S to vow under an elevated FlexSPUI  bridge exit thing. It just turn into a RHW4. I tried it with the RHW-8 and it worked just fine...

Yeah I want to ensure people can see where they're going on those curves/ramps at night. Might be a bit overkill though, maybe I'll remove some.

Like many of us, I spent a bunch of time going through the RHW tutorial thread after the release of NAM 30 looking for inspiration. Near the end of the thread is a cool video of an intersection called Pinavia, and someone said they didn't think it had ever been tried by anyone. I seriously doubt I am the first one to make this thing, but here it is

It is 100% free-flowing, and has no weaving. I'm not sure I would ever actually build this in a city but I it certainly has potential. For one thing, you can make the center as big as you like, and it does not have to be "round." It certainly would make a nice bypass for the center of a city - sort of an "inner-belt" like many urban areas have.

I have a bunch of screen shots and can make up a tutorial if people are interested.
