^^I see the ground equivalent of FlexFly.

Nope. You're just looking at a draggable MIS Curve. Either that, or you're referring to the curved Ground to Elevated MIS transition. :P :P :P

My turn: My first attempt at combining a Diamond and a Parclo. Actually, a Diverging Diamond and a Diverging Parclo.

Yeah, I forgot the overpass pieces. It's prototypical.

He was referring to my picture, and yes that was indeed a FlexCurve.  Two of them in fact. :P

Mostly writing pony stories on FimFiction.net, but Cities: Skylines is my new best friend.  Anything and everything I made for SimCity 4 is fair game for use and distribution.

4 years.
HUGE progress.
the RHW 5.0 it's a real masterpiece, i have an uncontrollable urge to rebuild most of my interchanges using the new FAR pieces  :D
soon or later some pics will come...
me and my (clever) friend..

First up, really nice interchanges everybody!

I have used RHW since the RHW3 time and I have for a long time been followed this thread and got inspiration for my own cities. Now, I think it's time for me to share with me of my interchanges.

Nice and neat interchange. Good work!  :)
Thank you for visiting Kolbrów, and for being for last ten years!

MandelSoft

One of my kinda-good-kinda-bad interchanges:

NOTE: the route leading to the south is a minor route. Motorists can take the next exit to follow this route.

(Oh, and I spot a missing transistion)

Best,

south to east?

I like the transition from east to north. The curve under ERHW looks great!

If I recall, those were from when the MIS network was puzzle-based. You can clearly see the white specks on the sides.

Convoluted corridors can add a hint of uniqueness to an interchange. Just imagine driving through that yourself... I'll bet it would be awesome.

(Section 2.6: Realistic Parclo A-4 Interchange)

Ol.S / Benoit

mrtnrln : Nice work, and I also like the East to North transition, very creative. But I think two are missing
- South to East
- East to South

Haljackey : Neat work, but quite the same thing, two are missing I think.
- Coming from East, you can't go to the South
- Coming from West, you can't go to the North
In both cases you have to match the entrance & exit with the avenue intersection. (You also can split the entrance ramps then you don't loose anything)

Yes you can. That's what the cloverloops are for.

It's still doable at present, but you have to tweak it a bit.  I cheated and used the new FlexCurve I've been working on. :P

Created a Parclo in response to Ryan's recent tutorial. But I added a few modifications to the design...

http://www.youtube.com/v/LOikVjEaEiU

EDIT: I added annotations to this video, but they're too small. Here's the transcript:

- I believe it was Blue Lightning who came up with using the half-FAD pieces in a Parclo.
- The rest of the design was based off of Haljackey's Parclo.
- I simply wanted to "shrink-wrap" this particular part [the ramps coming off of the arterial and onto the highway].

Trying to out-do me?  :P

Interesting use of FARHW. I experimented with my outer on-ramps but couldn't get it to fit just right. Besides, the diagonal route in my design is straight until you get to the bend at the RHW ramp pieces.

I would have never thought of using FARHW for the off-ramps though. Nice work. Great video!

j-dub

I would say the motive for that use of FARHW may have to do with the fact there actually are arrows on it, or call them turn lanes if you will.

pimmapman

I think Maarten means the transition between RHW6S and RHW4 just north of the interchange....  :P

Lol my bad, I must have weak eyes, this is obvious...
Nice work then :)
