Welcome to page 20!

Beautiful mosaic of this great rural area, TTC!

EDGE4194

 nice update derry! I spy some purple flowering shrubs i've never seen before- perhaps you might remember where they came from?  :) Not sure I'm onboard with your rail/rural dirt mod, but otherwise a nice rural area. (Nice to see SG's basket building being put to good use. I was never quite sure what to do with that one!)

Toichus Maximus

I agree about the rail mod (I had the same problem with it, in fact). It's actually a by-product of the sandstone sidewalk mod. I fixed it by using peg's dirt mod ( http://simpeg.com/forum/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item183 ). It fixes the dirt quite nicely (although you may need to add a few z's infront of the file name).

Strechnitz

Hey Derry,

That is one deliscious looking mosaic on the last page

looking good my friend.

Very promising! ;)

I like this large pasture, and the basket house  :D and the pond below it

look fantastic!
It's great you found some time for playing :)

Thank you Adam. Yours comments are always a pleasure to read as you tell it
as you see it. And if it pleases you then I am more than happy.
A bit of time that has been productive too as you will see :)

Well now that is a very nice mosaic... when you show a teaser pic, you

certainly do it well. I really like the pond. Very natural. I'm curoius to

know what the farm fields that are immediately below the open field are. They

look like grape vines, but I haven't seen them before. I'll be back for the

rest of the update, but until then take it easy (and take it twice).

Thank you. Well if you're going to tease then you might as well do it
right.Always leave them panting for more ( oh.... thats a different thread
Those fields are vines from simgoober I think. I'll double check that for you
though and hope you like this update. As for taking it easy....

that I always do :)
along with a nice cuppa :)

Delightful!

And, are those bananas I spy? Monkey Island's trade association will be

calling upon you!  :satisfied:

Indeed they are.

A Trade delegation would be most advantageous for each region :)

Also they are specially grown to supply the Monkey reserve featured below.
yes You read that right. The local citizens had heard a rumour that Monkeys
were been sold for monkeys and set up a retreat for any harassed Monkeys
well out of sight of sims behind a strong high wire fence. No problems for
Monkeys to climb over but very difficult for sims to do :)

In fact a law has been passed in the entire region that if any Monkeys are
harassed in any way the ultimate power will be invoked and the GOD tool used
on the offending sim.

You have been warned :) :)

Thank you. Good observational skills. those shrubs are part of the riparian
mayor modes trees. I don't know why but I really like them thats why you may
see them so much in my MD.

Ah yes thats bugged me for a bit but Toichus Maximus explains it in his post.
In fact I didnt know that myself and so have changed the side walk mod as
that was something I was playing about with.

Thats actually the first time I got that as a reward so it got used :) The
placement worked out rather well too I thought :)

thank you for the info. I didn't realise what was the cause of it and it was
starting to bug me. Problem solved now thanks to you :)

splendid!  &apls I like the edges of the river particularly!

Welcome, Thank you. Glad you like what you see and hope you enjoy these as much.

---------------------------------------------------

Now who remembers this?

Quote
Now what is the significance of this of this number and how does it relate to

the next update?

-11053

Ok well it was the number of sims i was short of 200,000 in the region and

for me that was the goal for the next update. Well the region now stands at

204,000 + so it was time for the update but....

Isn't there always a but we are not going to see any pictures of those new

sims. No not yet any way but we are seeing some new stuff and all of this is

from the NW quadrant of the region.

So on with the show eh and a few specials bits too maybe now maybe later :)

-------------------------------

Small freight yard

freight leaving town

The overflow

The Monkey retreat

Observation tower to see if any sims attempting to enter

town pond

nice rural shot

And again

"Town Center"

The Local Church

Random Shots

And an overview of where we've been so far :)

Now I've forgotten what I called this town and my apologies for the pause showing on some frames.
But I hope you enjoyed this update.

There is plenty more to come but for the next 5 days I am off to Ireland to see the folks so ....
I'll see you all on Monday :)
