Hey Dave

I like the towns business district. Especially how you did the roads and the how city hall and the park have a natural all flow together. I'm now going to use that road design in some of my own smaller cities.

Hope you get a lot of votes.

nice work tooheys, love the "foresty" Australian feel. Thanks again btw for indirectly starting me BATting.  (I can't believe how far I've come in such a short time)

Good work, Dave!   I like your downtown square, and the houses also look good.
Find my power line BAT thread here.
Check out the Noro Cooperative.  What are you waiting for?  It even has electricity.

Wow, you'd hardly know there were any buildings in there on first glance!  I really like how half the town is hidden in the forest!  Must say, the lot in front of what I assume is your city hall is particularly nice, that brick texture is very nice!

Hi Dave!

Sorry for not posting earlier but I was rather busy ...

Someone said that I had my very own, easy to recognize "Nardo-Style" - and he meant it in a really positive was. No doubt that there's a typical "tooheys-Style", too. I haven't been down under but I can almost see the koalas in the trees ...  :D

That wooden bridge, well, it is one of those I never found a place to use it but here it just fits.

Good luck with the votes my friend!

Bernhard

Nice little town! Its very cute, quaint and it has lovely landscaping around it.

tooheys

Just thought I'd let myself know I was entering Comp 2  ;D

tooheys

Well here's a peek at where I'm heading in this comp.

Slightly different to my recent MD work and last comp entry. There still will be a bit of green  ;) Anyway,
development will mostly be W2W and so far I've been using some of MattB's lots which I really like but
there will be some others as well.

Anyway, back to work.

Dave

PS: Sorry about the pause button but I have no power or water connected yet so didn't want attract a
whole lot of zots ;)

Wow, this looks beautiful already &apls &apls
I still have no Idea on where to put my canal / river / whatever ::) ::)
I especially like the plaza in front of your church and the way those bridges go over your canal

Thanks guys, another pic with a little more work done.

Another interesting approach!  &apls

The exposed location on the hill upon a river reminds me a little bit of Esztergom in Hungary. Hadn't been there since 1993 though ....

Good luck my friend!

Bernhard

That is looking nice at the moment. Looking forward to more... ;)

Ok, here is my final entry, subject to committee approval.

First the overview:

To the left you can see the Kaiser Wilhelm on its elevated site. At the other end of the
avenue is St Barts (although known by the locals as Little Willy)

Next are my additional pics with a piece of one of the two churches in each.

So something a little different to my normal style.
Hope you enjoy.

Hi Dave!

Checked your entry. No complaints by me.

Congratulations, you're in!

A lovely entry, Dave. It certainly differs from Clontarf, but you certainly have been able to pull of the W2W style smashingly. One thing that I like is the churches at opposite ends of the bridges, even though it seems a little unrealistic.

Interesting change of pace here! Don't recall ever seeing you do anything so symmetrical. Looks good, though. The little island is a good idea, and you've done a great job on the seawalls. Hope you'll show me how you created those raised lots.

Good luck...
