Title: Ronin Region - Update 13: West Hammond Coastal Industry and Fishing Harbors
Post by: cubby420 on October 18, 2010, 11:48:00 PM
Hello there everyone in sc4Devotion land!  ;D

First, introductions. My name is Andrew. I hope to meet lots of you as this MD progresses. But, this first update is all about reeling you fishies in, so we'll keep it short and sweet  ::)

Our journey through the Ronin region will begin with the following choice I am putting to you, the sc4Devotion commentariet!  "$Deal"$ I want you to decide where we start to focus in on the nitty gritty details form the coastal town of Torri.

1.1 Historic Old Town:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg46.imageshack.us%2Fimg46%2F3412%2Fmd11n.jpg&hash=01248ede4791f531ef216d620c5892c2c581dfff)

1.2 Lakeside Residential Neighborhoods:

Yes! Finally an MD from Cubby!  The pictures look great as ussual from you.  Personally I'd rather see more of the residential areas.  Mainly because I'm working on nice residential in my own region and you always have the nicest.  I might be able to steal some of your techniques. :D

Woaw, very nice start for sure there, Cubby420 ! I like the effect you used in your picture, really great. Also nice work with the city you develop. Although, I think the effect in the nightlife picture is a bit too much and ruins the picture. However, an excellent start once again !  &apls

Take care,

Title: Ronin Region - Update 2: Replies and Old Town
Post by: cubby420 on November 10, 2010, 12:14:11 PM
Well hello all! Sorry for the delay between updates, but RL took precedent lately in the most annoying of ways. I moved out of my apartment in the South Loop of Chicago to another place in Printer's Row. For those of you unfamiliar with the Printer's Row area of Chicago, I submit for your reading pleasure...this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Printer%27s_Row,_Chicago) less than informative wiki page. Pictures often tell a better tale than words though:

The Printer's Row Book Fair
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.woodseventmgmt.com%2Fimages%2F268_PrintersRow_060306.jpg&hash=73e38600ca94ec1b8e1eabf2a59c20efaa402793)

Some of the old printing buildings that now contain mostly businesses and lofts
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mredllc.com%2Fphotos%2Fproperty%2F082%2F07468082.jpg&hash=5ded0b8292ba44f1ef8e879cf7bc0953be003ad5)

The bar where I used to bartend and now just get sauced at is over 100 years old
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chibarproject.com%2FReviews%2FKasey%2527s%2FKasey%2527sStreetShotNightSP.jpg&hash=88611addb9346ddeb09394b15cf754c987d77d74)

But enough with all that noise...time for my second update proper.

Replies:

sim-al2: Thank you very much and for being the first to comment on my MD!

RickD: I think you're going to get your wish. Thanks for stopping by.

kodlovag: Indeed everyone appears to want to see different things! Not a bad problem to have I guess  $%Grinno$%

io_bg: Ah, one of the masters makes their presence known. Thanks for the comment, and the shoreline focus is coming soon!

Jayster: Thanks for the comment! Yours is one of my favorite MDs! Good looking out too...I had some confusion still with that cursed Ave-2 mod, so I tried a different one this time. Curious to see what you think...

MattyFo: Thanks for the support and encouragement. Yours was my favorite comment, mainly because of this:

art128: Thank you very much. In retrospect, you were definitely right. I'll have some clearer images of the downtown area soon.  ;)

kalvar: Thank you! Sometimes I take way too much time adding and bulldozing little things that I get nothing done  $%Grinno$%

Thomas Neto: Thank you my friend! Your work is always outstanding, so a comment from you means a lot.

Vester: Its unfortunate that Cal's superb new canal set are largely unfinished when it comes to the details we have available in many other canal sets (locks, overflows, etc.). But, I think the transition here worked well and I'm gland you noticed. Thanks for the comment!

Guillaume (Sciurus): I agree, hence the content of the new update!  :D

Ethan (ecoba): Thank you very much!

Marsh: Well if it isn't the king of the Picture Competition himself...I'm coming for you soon on there my friend! Thanks for the comment. It's high praise when it comes from you.

There, I think I've kissed all your butts enough to get some repeat comments. Without Further ado, I give you...Torri's Historic Old Town

First-rate update Andrew! You certainly have a knack for eye-pleasing neighbourhoods! Excellent use of Callagrafx's canal set, which I also use quite profusely ()stsfd(). I don't know if it's too late, but I would like to see more of the Boardwalk and Coastal Village, those areas always appeal to me ;D.

looks nice :) I had that problem with the ave-2 median thing too, but it seemed to have worked itself out somehow when i ran the simulator for a few game years ... maybe some of the trees grow or something... Anyway I like the new ave-2 t21s better than the japanese ones anyway :)

Not bad. Your PS made the pictures a tad too dark for me but that's my personal taste.

Those are callagrafX canals, am I right? Just began to work with these babies, too. They are incredible ...

I am not sure what to say about your railway (crossing) layout as I miss an overview. Wouldn't be a damage if you post one anyway... ;)

Nice work!

Take care! And don't forget to make backups!

Great update cubby!!!  Thanks for that picture of the residential area!!! As you put it, you surely kissed my butt enough to get some repeat comments :)  I did manage to find one of your "not-so secret" secrets.  I noticed that you use one of the most realistic touches.  Your cracked concrete sidewalk texture, and I guess, also base texture for most of your lots.  Being from a place where we get cold very winters, seeing perfectly paved and uncracked is a rare occasion.  Truly realistic, in my opinion.  Look forward to more from this masterfull Mayor's Diary.

Hello all! Seeing as how most of us stateside have a total free day, it seemed like a good time for putting together an update. This time I did some different things. This update will feature one of the mid-sized cities in my region: Hammond - a sprawling place with people of diverse wealth, racial, and cultural backgrounds; a stark contrast from the well-to-do, mostly insular town of Torri. Don't worry though...those of you that still wanted to see specific parts of Torri will get your wish...just not quite yet  ::)

First though, personal relies were promised and damned if I'm not gonna follow up on that promise  %BUd%

Robin: Thank you for the complements Robin. I many ways, your work in Mind Scape (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=601.0) influenced the city featured in this update.

Jordan: Thanks! My eyes agree with you. They often are pleased by my work.  ::) As for the coastal stuff you want to see...its coming soon...I promise.

Jayster: Thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment!

travismking: Thanks! The Japanese NWM cosmetic mods were giving me nightmares. I much prefer the look of the one I'm currently using anyway, so why induce a stroke trying to get something to work.

marsh: Ah the immortal question (or at least 7 years)...to plop or not to plop. Alas, I fall firmly on the non-plop side of the argument, though I won't begrudge you serial ploppers out there. For whatever reason I get itchy whenever I plop an RCI building...it just...bugs me  ??? I've tried and I always end up bulldozing it and growing instead. Don't get me wrong. It's time consuming as all-hell, especially for someone who wants everything to look just so. But, I think the patience pays off, and the final product looks more organic as a result.

kodlovag: There is no greater compliment than someone saying they can learn something from your work.  :satisfied: Thank you very much!

Utvaw: (https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.nj.com%2Fentertainment_impact_tv%2Fphoto%2Fboardwalk-empire-set-nightjpg-f12a7c4e56575d13_large.jpg&hash=7fdc54872e7ab3485e5c9e0d407319621293aaaf)
&apls COMING SOON - BOARDWALK UPDATE  &apls (p.s.: thanks for stopping by)

Bernhard: Thanks for commenting. Yeah, those are CallagrafX's canals all right. They are a sight to behold. The bridges can be a little twitchy from time to time, but on the whole they are great. As for the rail overview, I'll try and get one together for a future update that portrays my rail system in a good light, considering I have accomplished rail tycoons like yourself watching  :P Thanks for the advice as well by the way. Nothing worse than hours upon hours of sc4 build time lost to the many horrible things that can befall our fragile save games...oh please the save games...won't somebody please think of the save games...

Tomas Neto: Thank you my friend!

MattyFo: You caught me...that is indeed my trick  ()stsfd() Though, in my defense I learned it from one of the best MD's around: ManuelIR's Arlington Bay (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=9358.0). Please, if you haven't been there before do yourself a favor and check it out. Oh and if Manuel is out there lurking somewhere...that'll be 5 U.S. Dollars for the plug.

Girafe: Thanks! It's hard to do, and staying at zoom levels for too long can really give you a skewed perspective on how your space and development actually fit together. Its a simple thing to do, but we all fall into lazy patterns sometimes and forget to give the eye some room to wander and explore.

Battlecat: Thanks! When you do PS right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

noahclem: Thank you very much! I love designing residential areas, as more than any other RCI type they tend to look the most organic and real by default. Just a splash of detail or an original layout and they really come together. Plus, with all the custom creations out there, making homes and apartments look great and diverse is a piece of cake.

nbvc: Thank you! I hope to see you around in the future. I'm a big fan of your coastal work. Hard as I try, my stuff never comes out quite as elegant as yours.

NOW...for those of you who ignore all replies but your own or just skip the section all together...first off...stop doing that. My mom always said it could make you go blind. There are all kinds of nuggets buried in MD and CJ replies all over this site and others. For instance, there are two references from Matt Groening shows in this update's replies, and the first person to identify both of them will get something special. Not quite sure what yet. I'll come up with something  :-\

Update Time!!!

For those of you who skipped the replies to get to the nougatty sweet center of this update, congratulations, you're here! And a good thing too...think of how bored your fellow sc4'ders are right now...reading some barely cogent miscreant's rantings that he invented the question mark, all the while angrily accusing chestnuts of being lazy. Without further ado, I give you - Hammond:

Post by: cubby420 on December 03, 2010, 02:03:45 PM
Hey everybody! I've got something special for you today. Not really special in the good sense of the word though...

Consider these pics my deep cuts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_cut) from Update 3. They didn't make the last update for one reason or another...but I took them...and edited them...and captioned them...so dammit you all are gonna sit there and look at them!!!   :angrymore:

$%Grinno$%  :satisfied:

So here we have the first pic:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg222.imageshack.us%2Fimg222%2F8818%2Fslide1b0.jpg&hash=e87f8b407bead130a8df2a9043b9ab707313c4a3)

Well this one is a picture that I actually kinda liked. It didn't really fit the overall concept of the update though, and just seemed like it was plucked from out of nowhere. Plus it's not really...of...anything... ??? Bummer...

Moving on to the second:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg823.imageshack.us%2Fimg823%2F6642%2Fslide2x0.jpg&hash=34798429d618886f1311cd68e17b350c9a7893f9)

How do I say this?  &Thk/(  Boring, boring, boring, boring. Ah, that feels better.

Now the third:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg88.imageshack.us%2Fimg88%2F8637%2Fslide3y.jpg&hash=d6497daa44ac00d620440f6b5138476696d74169)

For the life of me, I don't know why I took this one.  ()what() Oh well. From another angle it could have looked nice, as there is a raised rail section a little further back.

Almost to the end...four follows three:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg835.imageshack.us%2Fimg835%2F4325%2Fslide4f.jpg&hash=c53330204c31c59c5b1a888ea77f9db4d2e2b71a)

Like the first, this one just didn't quite fit the feel of the last update. The industrial areas of Hammond will be dealt with in a coming update, and these pics lacked the context to really work.

And finally:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg11.imageshack.us%2Fimg11%2F1391%2Fslide5cf.jpg&hash=d8c17c85546b899c5442c2a474591950049d85b8)

Another one of those head scratchers that seemed like a good idea when I took it, but really turned out immensely blah... Shame too, because the treatment plant from a higher zoom level actually looks pretty awesome.

Well I hoped you enjoyed this clearing house of pics. A formal update with replies is coming down the pipe soon!

Peace -

Andrew

Both industrial pics, especially the first one, look great! The treatment plant would too if not for the texture problem at that zoom. The residentials look good too, R$ isn't supposed to be glamorous. I'd consider adding arrows to the MAVE-5's turning lane but it's fine as is too

Hey Manuel, I think you're looking for the NAM Facelift Mod (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fhide-inoki.com%2Fbbs%2Fphpbb2%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ft%3D818).

I'm still sorting out all the specifics of the mod, and I must be missing something either dependency or configuration wise, because the mod also can add a concrete texture underneath the puzzle piece and white guardrails to separate pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Over all though, the mod is great, top quality stuff. Whatever is lost in translation in the readme, I'm sure I will sort out eventually.  ::)

OR...do any of you out there have the NAM Facelift Mod set up to allow the aforementioned guardrails and concrete base texture? The readme translation is just a nightmare as far as I'm concerned. Any help would be appreciated.  ;D

Title: Re: Ronin Region - Update 4: Think Hammond
Post by: cubby420 on December 15, 2010, 11:45:37 AM
Hello all! Time for a new update. We'll be sticking to Hammond this time, and will continue exploring this sprawling place in detail.

First off though...

Replies

Jayster: Thanks bud. It took a long time to get those to grow...too long...  %wrd
Kwakelaar: Thank you!
Sciurus: Well if I can't stop you...  &dance  As far as the effects, we all have our secrets  ;)  but generally I reduce brightness slightly, up the contrast a bit, and try and eliminate as much image noise as possible while simultaneously upping the sharpness. The combination, along with a smaller image size and a bevel border create (I think anyway...) a more photo like image than the overly bright and pastel screens the game typically spits out.
Girafe: Thank you very much!
Penguin007: Thank you! That's exactly what I was going for. If it looks to pretty, I failed. Glad you liked my industrial areas and canals as well.
Marsh: Thanks bud. Growing RCI lots is a pain in the ass sometimes...but well worth it.
RickD: Thanks!
Battlecat: Thanks a lot. Buddybud's highway walls are just so delightfully grimy and dirty, I couldn't resist. The canals on the other hand are so beautiful and realistic I couldn't resist either.  ;D
Jordan: Thank you. They were two of my favs as well.
Thomas Neto: Thanks very much for the compliments!
Nardo69: Thank you! I'm not very adept at industrial areas, but this one turned out quite well I think.
scott1964: Thank you!
nbvc: Glad you think everything fits...I definitely didn't. But, sometimes we are hardest on ourselves, right?  &mmm
calibanX: Thank you! I love creating distinct neighborhoods. It adds a lot of life to a city when various areas feel like self-contained, living, breathing "towns" all on their own.
ManuelR: Thank for stopping by! As I've said before...love your work. I plagiarize your stuff quite often  ;)  :D
noahclem: Thank you! The only thing about adding any kind of turning lane extension pieces to my work is the base texture, which just screams out to my OCD tendencies by completely clashing with the asphalt sidewalk that I love.
Matt: That pic was indeed quite boring. Glad you liked the rest though.
io_bg: Thank you very much!
Arthur: You're a moderator over in the competition thread right? I don't think anyone would notice if you just slipped it in nice and quiet like  ;)

I believe that is juts from the latest NAM version.  The street intersection blocks the turning lane from reacing its "full potential" and so it automaticly makes the shortened.  Not sure if the same happens with the euro mod because I don't have it  :)

Andrew, very nice update love the North American style.  It looks very Chicago and also similar to the city I currently live in often refered to as the Chicago of the North, though not nearly as big or nice or anything really.......??? why do they call it that again?   A shiney loonie if you can guess what city.

A really great looking update. There are many things to like here and I think the Harrison Park picture is something special. The combination with flora, water and buildings is well done.

Hi everybody!
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ft3.gstatic.com%2Fimages%3Fq%3Dtbn%3AeiQPkWff8s3hpM%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fi446.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fqq189%2Fbigsam27%2Fdr_nick.gif%26amp%3Bt%3D1&hash=e85e701bb4d9964d24f8013ff628597342c0dfce)

No time for personal replies today, but I will get to them very soon  ;D  Until then, thank you for the comments, kind words, praise, and criticism.

I did have time however to put together a little update for you all, which I'm sure you'll like more than my incessant jabbering anyway. More of Hammond...some slight redesigns and additions and general awesomeness.

...enjoy...

Post by: cubby420 on January 03, 2011, 10:26:27 PM
Wow! Thank you everyone for all of the support and comments.

Oh...and...Happy New Year!!!  &hlp

First, the most important news I have to share...I'M ENGAGED!!!  ;D   &dance   &dance

More on that coming later in the month. Pretty cool, huh? On to some housecleaning though. I've been quite lazy with personal replies lately, so its time we caught everyone up.

Replies

i_love_lamp (2):  :)

Noah (3): We make what we see right? Well, maybe not all of us, but I do  :P  I've spent so much of my life in Chicago and other Midwestern cities, its kinda just stuck in my head. Plus, I think there is a lot of beauty there, though it might not be the most typical kind of beauty. Thank for stopping by.

Robin (2): Thank you. Glenni's tunnels are perfect for so many situations. They are fast becoming favorites of mine. It should be a good month I think.  ;)

Tomas (3): Thank you my friend. Your comments are always appreciated.

Elias (2): Thank you. I love cities to be green, and from above, most really do.  ;D

bat: Thank you very much. Don't be a stranger.

marsh (3): Thanks. Harrison Park is probably my favorite from that update as well. 7.8 is near the edge of the city, as it becomes a little more green. Good catch.  :P

Matt (2): I'm still waiting on the right answer!  :D

Jayster (2): Thanks bud.

eldaldo (2): Thank you. Minneapolis is a great place. I have had some good times there. Come back soon.

Guillaume (3): Thank you very much. I really try to produce realistic looking pics. Your work is an inspiration...just felt like saying. Recently, I was kinda stuck on a coastline that was driving me nuts, and Harmen's great coastal detailing of recent vintage got me going again.  Thanks! Oh, and you should visit America. But not now...its frigidly cold and generally unpleasant in 3/4 of the country.

RickD: Thank you. I'm glad you liked them.

solsystem (2): Thank you.

Manuel (2): The odd Euro bat does slip my careful pruning shears every now and then, but for the most part, everything you see is there because I want it there. In Chicago, you'd be surprised at the odd, out of place building styles you spot every now and then. A little Euro in my Americana adds some variety and breaks up otherwise monotonous images. That's how I'll justify it at least.  :P  Thank you for coming by. Oh, and if you see a building or something that you want, just ask and I can identify it for you.  :)

malibu_man: Thanks for coming by. Churches and other places of worship seem to slip a lot of people's minds. I see them everywhere. All kinds too. Only seems natural to put lots in my cities.  ;D

Ethan (4): I really enjoy making large historical neighborhoods. In fact, almost all my neighborhoods are historical in the strictest sense of the game.  :-[  Thank you for the comments and come back soon.

Arthur: Thank you.

Kwakelaar: Thank you very much. As I said to marsh, Harrison Park is something I'm very proud of. It blends in well with the otherwise urban landscape of Hammond.

TiFlo: Thanks for commenting. I remember an old episode of the Simpsons with an E.R. style scene with tense music in the background. The doctor is called in for emergency surgery...in walks Dr. Nick, who deadpans (for the only time I've ever seen) "hello everybody" in a serious and somber tone. "Hi Dr. Nick" his cautious nurses and assistants carefully answer. Still one of my favorite moments...I was on the floor. It looses something in type but believe me, it rocked.

Aaron (2): Thank you. That Forest Drive pic made it to the HOF by the way.  ;D

Here it is, for your enjoyment:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg214.imageshack.us%2Fimg214%2F2535%2Fpicturecompetitionfinal.jpg&hash=a822c768ed4a392e108511ff5ac7b0436aaf373c)

Jordan (2): Thank you for the compliments. I hear you on the green space, but my infrastructure skills...eesh...  :'(

nbvc (2): Thank you.

Battlecat (2): Thank you. My plop water skills are improving, but I think you might still have the market cornered on those skills.  ;)  RIP Leslie Nielsen.

Ioan: Thank you very much.

Bernhard: Well your work certainly is inspirational...just not in the...punctual sense?  ;)  Thank you for stopping by my friend.

Girafe: Thank you.

yan077: Praise of realism from you is high praise indeed. Thank you for the flattery my friend.

nedalezz: Thank you. Please come back soon.

Joan: Thank you very much Joan and the rest of the OSITM committee. I'll try my best to take advantage of my time in the spotlight.  ;D

Will: Thank you. More updates are coming.  ;)

Whoa...I think that takes of everybody. Now for an old fashioned update. Its back to Torri with this one...a city I've been anxious to share more of with you.

Title: Ronin Region - Update 9: Let's get technical...my attempts at RHW grandeur
Post by: cubby420 on January 05, 2011, 11:50:06 AM
Hello everyone. I've got something a little different for you today.  ;D

First though, I'd like to thank Arthur, Io_bg, Cédric, Robin, Battlecat, bat, and Will for stopping by and leaving a comment.

I've been trying to get better with RHW lately. Show us your intersections (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=252.2000) is a great place to learn from experts if you're like me and a little confused by the wealth of content available with RHW. If you have not been there, check it out.

So...I'm going to show you a couple of my interchanges here. I do NOT have a lot of experience here, so be gentle.  ::)  But, any advice you have would be great. One of the interchanges in particular was inspired by the excellent design of jdenm8, who deserves credit for his excellent full access cloverleaf on page 101 in the above mentioned thread.

Congratulation on being OSITM!  &apls Well deserved, loved the avenues parallel to the canal!  ()stsfd()

And concerning the RHW you're definitely ahead of me because I haven't been able to produce something presentable ...

Take care my friend!

Congratulations on your engagement!!!

I like the canals, especially Montrose Island. I'd be interested to see some coastlines from you at some point....

Nice use of the RHW too! It certainly is a bit of a hassle to get familiar with. The cloverleaf is especially well done and I like that you eliminated some of the potential for weaving. I don't really have "advice" per se as your work is great as-is. Personally, I prefer to use merging lanes (using type C, D, or F ramps) for at least a couple tiles, but that's a matter of taste (and not possible on a cloverleaf until ERHW-6 is created).

Looking forward to more

Been a while, but life is really a pain lately. Life itself is awesome! A more apt statement is...work is a pain lately  :bomb:

But, I've got this shot to post an update, so here we go...

Replies

Io_bg: It's tight yes...but I've gotten a boat out of tighter spots before.  ;D

Jayster: Thanks for stopping by bud. As Arthur already so helpfully pointed out, those Euro W2Ws are found on the LEX. The author in power search is Andreas.

eldaldo: Thanks! See my response to Jayster if you want to get those houses.

RickD: Thank you! I was going for a very pleasant American East Coast feel.

Noah: More coastal love coming! Full steam ahead  ::)

Arthur: Thanks for helping everyone find those houses...

Tomas: Thank you my friend!

Guillaume: Rent is, unfortunately, quite high.  $%Grinno$%

Framly: Thank you for stopping by. I'm a big fan of your work! Please come back.

Jordan: Thanks for the comment Jordan! Check my reply to Jayster is your looking for those houses. They are awesome, but I've rarely had the opportunity to put them to good use.

Update 13
[/b]

So here is another look at Hammond's extensive and diverse coastline. This area was more a rough draft than anything else, and a lot of changes have been made already. Still, I think the pics are update quality and deserve to be seen...so...enjoy!

Great docklands there, really well laid out. I love the tunnel under the walls, very clever!

Awesome! I am surprised how well the green areas fit into the industrial harbor theme. I would have plastered it all with concrete and random warehouse buildings.  ::)

The way you made the incline to that bridge is really interesting to say the least. :P Very interesting. And as always I love your unique photoshopping style.  :)

This is for sure a lovely seaport you made there, I really love the general look of it also as the close-up shots that show a lot of details. Your MD is definitely one of the best around there and for sure one of my favorite !

Hello All (especially the moderators),

Several updates to this long inactive MD are on the way. To that end, can this topic please be moved back to the proper "active" list?

If you need proof of the Ronin Region's return prior to this weekend...you need only ask.  ;)
