Title: sc4tool not reading dependencies in plugin folder.
Post by: High5Tower on October 22, 2009, 01:47:45 PM
All of a sudden sc4tool stopped reading dependencies list that I have included in plugin folder. It does read the bldgprop 1&2 and Simcity dats but no dependency files.
I re-installed sc4tool and image tool but no change.
Have tried rebooting but no change.
Started up sc4 and game runs fine.
Could the Net Framework 1.1 be damaged?
Looked around the computer to see if any dll's fill out but all is clean.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you.

Do you use Windows XP? Apparently, one of the latest hotfixes is causing a bug in the FSHlib.dll that already affected Vista and Win7 some time ago. For a fix, see here: http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=5142.msg221467#msg221467 Also, make sure that you set the proper paths to the SC4 installation folder and your plugins folder (in My Documents).

Thank you for your help. I had to  reset the path to the My Doc sc4 file. That fixed it. Still don"t know how it became unset. Couldn't live without this great tool. I have Windows XP.
So back to work here in Squaw Valley, a little bit of snow on top of K22, a beautiful day here. Thanks again.
