The grid can't hide any longer from David, the grid-terminating machine.  ()borg() It can run, but it can't hide... for long. ('g' key)

The day will come that you will release the new systems.

That is the day I throw away all my old work and start from scratch with a new region...
Do I cry or do I rejoice on that day?

Both, I guess.

dedgren

I'm home waiting for the TV guy to come and fix my HD box, which has never worked correctly.  So guess what I'm doing?

Keeping (finally) a promise I made over a month ago.  The ortho wide runways will be up on the 3RREX [linkie] by this evening, or bust!

Later.

Amazing work with railroads, David.

As for the Wide Runways, I'll have no excuse to not have an airport now...

I hope all is well with your family.

Cheers,
Kevin

Nice work on the STR there! And looking forward to new stuff... ;)

So it was the signal, not my box...

...so much for paying extra for HDTV service...

Doodling while the cable guy was here.

That'd sure look better with a little bit of roadside "stuff" here and there...

Yep, it does.

Later.

Wow! That looks amazing, David...

And just when I start messing around with custom airports, too...

Oh, and that road scene reminds me, what ever happened to your idea of making ploppable seasonal trees?

SC1, the beginning of this franchise, had single rails as a standard option.  So did SC2k.  When SC3k was released, the hard days of double rails began.  While they looked good at first, the grim realization that single rails were absent set in quickly.  SC4 provided no relief for this atrocity, even with Rush Hour.  That is, until SC4 was kindly revitalized by none other than Dr. Edgren, a specialist in software resuscitation.

Are you sure that you're only doodling?  I wonder if you even save these "doodles," or maybe you find them so easy to create that you don't bother to save.  Great work, David!

Those pics look great, David. I know you're busy with a million other things, but... are those telephone poles going to be released soon?

Just curious.

Heh, what a coincidence; I just had my cable fixed today. Couldn't access the internet or watch programs either....  ::)

I just had an awesomeness overload reading here tonight. So much grid-defiance, so many possibilities. BTW, any word from the diagonal runways? Just curious, I don't want to sound presumptuous.

Oh yeah, we're still waiting for the tutorial. ;) Needless to say, the "roadside stuff" pic looks as awesome as the rest of the pics that get posted here on a regular base. Just splendid. :)

EDIT:  Andreas, you are, as always, too kind. -DE

Dedgren I just want to say how incredible looking your train tracks are, I am a life long railfanner and that last pic of a single track going to double or passing siding blew me away, I don't know how many country roads I have been on following tracks in this country and that last pic looks looks like a picture I would have taken in real life overlooking a valley!  can't wait till you release them.  Thanks

More STR and the wide runways?

What a great day here in 3RR! But then again, when isn't it a great day in 3RR?
