When I realised my mistake it was too late (the 1st vote had been cast) and therefore could not edit the pic as that would have been unfair

Nice show of sportsmanship

...but TTC's right, that would be unfair to allow even with competitor's consent. Once a round has started, the pictures can't be substituted (not even for variants of themselves)...and I'll throw that in the rules really quick.

On that note, however, I give TTC my vote.
