Always good to have a trip to the NCR. You always did have a knack for w2w.

That is one unique source of renewable energy there.  $%Grinno$%

The law school and Sylvester Place have to be my favorite shots from this update.  The W2W zones create a busy but cozy atmosphere.  Nice update!
Find my power line BAT thread here.
Check out the Noro Cooperative.  What are you waiting for?  It even has electricity.

East Tenne: Bishop's Square

Located near the Shrine of the Savory Salmon, Bishop's Square is a green oasis in the heart of the capital's third arrondissement. The East Tenne Bishopric Office sits in the square and is surrounded by pleasant grounds.  Bishop Neilson presides over the most populous see in the nation and has his offices right in the heart of the largest concentration of religious edifices in the nation. We will see the bishop make his rounds about the Holy Quarter today.

Bishop's Square meets the city at an airy plaza running from the street to the entrance of the Bishopric Office. It's a great gathering spot and a fun place to relax and drink your catnip tea.

A hidden gem is the Arch of Schulmanicus, nestled in the green space behind the office

Bishop Neilson has a tranquil setting for his official business, quite a contrast to the bustling cityscape just beyond his front door

Baxlep Department Store is just down the street. It has a wide range of goods for just about everyone. And, it has a mitre aisle on the second floor, ensuring the steady business from the bishop.

The bishop is heading out across the Holy Quarter to visit one of his churches. Let's follow him...

Turn left onto Kettering Street and you're on your way...

Let's stop at Adamantium Cafe, conveniently located on Calico Corner, for a snackbefore we continue...

And now, a quick turn down Hancock Street and we are almost at St. Felix's.

St. Felix is one of the signature religious structures in the Holy Quarter and enjoys a fabulous waterside setting next to Seaside Park. The bishop is coming to preside over selections for the new chancel choir. Competition is going to be tough!

If you don't want to wait for the four hours of tryouts, why not slip over to Seaside Park? I am sure the food vendors will have something fun. And maybe we can get a kite! Wheeeeee!

It's a beautiful day to go to the park. Join me in Myers Park, in the capital's third district. Wanna chase some squirrels and chipmunks?

In the first picture I see an error in the way. ôo Is that intentional? A classic BSC Park. Is there no longer often seen.

East Tenne: Get Wild

It's time to get wild! Let's head out to the National Zoo! Located in the heart of the sixth arrondissement of the National capital Region, the Diplomatic Enclave, the zoo has a great array of wild critters sure to amaze and delight. And, thanks to a generous subsidy from the Education and Literature office, admission is only one purr. What a bargain! Let's get wild today!

That's a nice Zoo. The texture used on the ground for the large paths is very interesting.
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

East Tenne: International Celebration

Schulmania is marking 900,000 visitors to Schulmania Volume 2, the longest and most viewed topic on Simtropolis, with a trip to the internationally-renowned Feline Exposition site. Here, felines and their admirers from the world over come to enjoy feline culture and family fun. We will enjoy the fun things the site offers and see who some of our exotic guests are as well. Let's join the fun!

Let's see who is stopping by at the entrance plaza...

It's our first visitor from Comoros!!

And our first visitor from Somalia!

There's a cool atom sculpture here on the Court of Honor. Let's get a paddleboat and enjoy a ride around before we explore more.

On to the Bureau of Feline Affairs Pavilion... there's a great new Grumpy Cat exhibit showing there!

Let's see who is exploring the expansive Schulmania pavilion...

\

It's our group of 1,000 Argentine friends!

All the kids in California are heading to our exciting Klingon Pavilion! Qapla'!

Cats hate water. Why they built this is beyond me!

Our first guest from Greenland is enjoying the Furry Fury, Schulmania's first roller coaster!

I don't know about you, but I am heading to the Fine Arts Quadrangle. The Sculpture Hall has busts of famous felines carved entirely from Fancy Feast. Sounds delish! The Textile Hall has a huge quilt crafted solely from shed fur. It's a can't miss!

Nice update! In particular I love your parks. It seems, if people hear to cats, they will get nice cities with lots of free space.

The zoo is well done also, although I avoid rollercosters, my stomach...  $%Grinno$%

Thanks A Million!

On 28 March 2016, Schulmania Volume 2 became the first thread on Simtropolis to reach one million views. To mark this milestone, the Supreme Wirdle has commanded that a special double-length commemorative chapter of Schulmania be released. It features some never before seen views of cities across the nation. And, as a onetime concession, motor vehicles will be allowed in the cities. After this, they are back to being restricted to certain small zones only. Vehicles are subject to the same stringent requirements the Transit Office put into place for our few motor vehicle zones:
1) Speed is limited to single digits only
2) Cats have the right of way at all times
3) No vehicle may be started if a cat is sleeping on it
4) No vehicle may disturb any cats, sleeping or awake, with its movement or noises
So, there will be a few vehicles out on the road today. But, don't expect traffic jams. Why won't we see the cars back again? Well, cars can hurt cats. And, cats can't drive...

These 14K gold tokens are being given away as a promotion by SchulmaniCorp, one of the corporate sponsors of this special edition. A limited edition of 1,000,000 (naturally!) has been produced and is now being distributed in specially marked boxes of cat treats. Get yours today!

And, now, our feature presentation...

We will see an assortment of pictures from across the nation. Let's start in the capital. We begin in District 1, the Royal Quarter. Here, we see what's going on in the highly developed Isle of Bruce. This special economic zone is home to many of the nation's tallest buildings and largest companies. The SchulmaniCorp Tower is one of the big three in the center of the island.

We now venture into District 3, the Holy Quarter. Here, we see a bustling area, home to eight of the largest churches in the country and a variety of cultural activities. It includes the largest urban park in the nation as well.

Let's now venture into District 4, The Citadel, home of the Hall of Justice and other legal institutions.

District 12, The Woodlands, is a quiet residential section of the capital.

Freels Bend, the capital's 19th district, is home to the airport and one of the four main rail stations.

Let's leave the National Capital Region and see what else is going on in Schulmania for the big event! First, we head west to Blankenship, a multimodal transit hub found in Middle Tenne.

We head to the far west to Holston, the last stop on the Great Western Road and westernmost outpost before heading into the great undeveloped interior of the continent. As an important stop for travelers, Holston has Schulmania's first travel plaza, complete with fast food and other ubiquitous roadside attractions.

Now, let's head south... way south... to the far southeast of Schulmania. In the Provincia District is Jamestowne, a cute little city founded just one year ago. Even in such a new town excitement for the million views anniversary is high!

We now venture from the far southeast to the far north... to Kolibri, capital of the northernmost region of Schulmania. Spring has barely sprung this far north, but the excitement level is warming it up fast!

We round out our tour of Schulmania with a visit to Robinia, capital of the largest region of Schulmania, Wirdleonia. Situated in the heart of the Southlands, Robinia is the country's second largest city.

PARTY TIME!!

I has been a while since I didn't visit your Journal, and I'm lad to see that you still have what it takes to make stunning cities! keep it up :)

Shark7

Your parks always look superb.

I try, but I get so caught up in building the 'population' that I don't leave enough space to make really good parks.

What a nice and quiet place surrounded by the noisy city
