I like the details in the construction areas.
Thank you, not one of my strongest areas  $%Grinno$%

More families are moving into the area. Now with 265 people.
Some farms near the little town of Heartland

Farmer Dave moves into the area

His cousin Farmer Charlie moves in next door and finds out they both purchased the same dwelling floor plan.

There are rumors on why there are cows in the back forty. Has something to do with some top secret government experiment on flying cows.

Farmer Edward does not want to be left behind so he moves in.

Looks nice!

You might want to use the wide curves for the railway.

Also if you raise the ground with the holedigger on each side of the river, you can get away from using that horribly ugly and unrealistic maxis bridge.  $%Grinno$% the flat one is much more beautiful.
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Some great areas. I like the nicely tree-covered area in the second last picture a lot.

Are you using a slope mod? Your rail slopes are a bit harsh.

This CJ has a nice style, though perhaps some non-Maxis flora would spruce up the open areas a little bit more. It seems to be the main thing that this CJ misses; good flora placement will help define the open spaces as city borders rather than un-played parts of town.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
