Great method there McDuell! Thanks a lot!  &apls

Haljackey

Very cool method McDuell! You should consider adding that to the NAM How-To's and Tutorials section!

Darn....no diagonal owr ramps.....(clarification: offramps...)...

I'm a victim of little space!!

might try diagonal slopes, but I'm 80% sure these would be too long, too.

You know, McDuell, if you give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want a glass of milk.

It's gonna be a matter of time 'til someome requests a new RHW transition piece... (Let's see if you know what I'm talking about...)

Soulchaser, maybe you could use an A-Ramp DRI, a Curved Ground to El MIS transition (preferably starterless), and an RHW-2 to RHW-4 transition. It's probably gonna be a tight fit, but I think I can cram all of that into such a restricted space...

I'll see what I can come up with...

I think a simple roundabout would be best. Or maybe a diamond interchange.

Aw man, it really looked like it could of connected too, but space does look like the most restricting thing right now, because there is no doubt that RHW filler MIS stub would of sided that OWR-1 there.

If you really wanted the neighbor connection to work, in this case because of space, your just going to have to use regular avenue the last 3 tiles instead of RHW, and where the RHW ramp exits, you could have a diagonal OWR-2 come out of the avenue instead, and keep the rest of everthing the same right now, its just that you only want to demolish the end of the diagonal OWR 1-2 transition, so the whole ramp don't come tumbling down afterward.

Working with some Maxis highway this time.

Diagonal T-bone highway interchange on a cliff with lots of road curves. I find Maxis highways navigate mountainous terrain better than RHW (with the exception of the RHW-2).

Placeholder for a future interchange near a Maxis-RHW transition.

Nice interchange there Haljackey!

Now for one of mine:

Sadly, there's no more room for wide radius curves on the MIS.

Haljackey

samerton: Cool, I like the MIS flyovers on your east-west highway. If you did the same setup for your north-south route, the junction would look more realistic and contain less curves.

Here's an example. Click it for full size.

Keep in mind I had no intention of conserving space in that junction. It can be made much more compact.

samerton

@ Haljackey: Thanks for the reply! Your junction looks amazing! I'll definately use the same setup for both roads in future.

Terring7

This is an avenue crossing, in case that you want a safe and fast crossing and you have plenty of free space.

O.K. i promise, no more intersections from me :-[

Blue Lightning

Why not shrink it? ;)

Terring: Looks pretty good actually, my only question is how do pedestrians get to the pedestrian overpass in the first place? They'd have to cross the MIS slips first :P
