I've been hoping for a historical/political - "through the eras" - city builder for a long time. This might be it. Its quite expensive, but nonetheless I'm thinking of buying.

This is being released today (20 January, which for other reasons I won't mention here is a really sad day otherwise)! I pre-purchased it, followed the dev diaries and let's play, and I am quite excited!
