Now here are my real comments     

I like the night shot but there is a red luminous crane in the lower right corner that is a distraction for me. It would have gotten my vote but this is a competition so my vote goes to the period picture with the Yankee troops marshelling at the front door of the mansion. It is unique and the usual type of competition screen grab. It is also put together and composed well.

Once I saw Republic's image, I didn't think I had a chance.  I only wish I could create a night pic that good. 
BTW, here's the picture I used to create the scene in SC4 - it's was taken in the last days of the American Civil War at the Appomattox Court House.

Republic, must be a 1x1 or 2x1 Lot, so the prop (Building you see) is bigger than the lot ! Not only you don't see the base texture, but you can also MMP around it

That's actually pretty close, Benoit.  I just made MattB's model file into a landmark .desc, created a lot, took away the base texture in the PIM-X LE, and everything else you see is MMP'd in (fences, flora, tents and dirt paths).  The toughest part was figuring out what the actual layout of the area around the Appomattox court house looked like, since the picture doesn't give much away.  Fortunately, this MAP was pretty helpful.
