Since the last votes were still within 24h after the round started it seems Swordmaster's pic actually entered the HoF and we need two new competitors. Then again, I'm no moderator.

Ok, in the spirit of competition, I'll throw this up here - I think I read that .gif files are allowed, so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules here.

Well we did have animation in the past so yes it is allowed. However, and by the rules, it shouldn't be too heavy. Yours is 4Mb I think it's alright.

Simcoug : I like the gif, and the idea, but the cross fade is way too long, 1sec as I can see and it should be 0.1sec or something like that. And you also forgot one after last picture for the loop.

Not perfect but with a shorter cross fade it looks better, I think !

Thanks for the critique Benoit - I used photoshop to create the .gif, and I couldn't figure out how to vary the slide duration in order to slow down the main slides, and speed up the transition ones... The example you gave seems to accomplish this - can you point me to instructions on how do do that?  Thanks!
