Very impressive looking industrial port. Just the right amount of LOTs, not over doing it, I like it. And your highway setup looks very realistic as well. I like the round about off the highway, just incase you took the wrong exist, you can get back on. ;)

I like especially wide the way how you used wide NAM curves, canals on the first mosaic and the seaport &apls
The seaport is very well planned, as Robin said nothing is overdone but the whole area looks busy and diversified.Very good use of Gurry's seawalls :thumbsup:
I like the road viaduct and the whole intersection at the bottom of the first mosaic &apls
Great start, we will wait for more! If you will have enough time to develop this region and make updates regularly, I see a very succesful career for your MD here :)

Fantastic update.
I really like the bottom half of the night mosaic!
I don;t think the ship fits under the bridge and the under rail pass doesn't look very good in it's situation. Maybe a bridge over the rail would be more fitting, just a thought. As for the bridge over the water, maybe just moving it to the other side of the harbor would work better.
Just my two cents....

Edit: I have an idea :) Do you know what would look fantastic on this desert? Circular farmfields made by David (dedgren) in 3RR. Do you know them? look at 3RR exchange thread, maybe you will like these farmfields?
They would be very reasonable here. Their circular shape is caused by circular movement of the irrigation installation.

Fantastic city you have going on! Looks very lovely. That main avenue has a lot of potential ... makes me think of the Strip in Las Vegas for some reason (or maybe it's the fact that I wish I were there right now ;D). Either way, keep it up! :thumbsup:

Great update.
And yes your city looks realistic with all the small details you add in and your transportation set up looks just as good. The way you have the housing placed around the working areas of the city. I can just picture the main avenue packed with comercial buildings once the ciy can sustain them.
The only thing that bugs me is the jumps/bumps in the rail lines, especially the one over the road in the last pic on the left.
Again great work and your pictures are a pleasure to view.

Yeah I already saw how you did it and it looks pretty good. My project is going to be sort of like mashing Dubai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo into one city. Desert local with an oil industry and big planned development, but with Asian-typical skyscrapers and run-down development.

Are you changing any of the base lots to a desert texture? I've been having a problem with the grass in most lots looking out of the place.
Fantastic work there my friend.
Your city is full of amazing details and all goes perfectly there.
The mix of modern buildings and traditional houses, like we can see in a lot of Arabians city, is greatly done.
My favorite thing here is the car track, I've never saw that before... (can I have a general shot of it ?)

This is great. Very nice work. It must be difficult to work with a desert region. I enjoy the green terrain because it helps me cover up certain 'imperfections' in my building skills. This desert looks very unforgiving.

That's a monumental task :o. The problem would be from the non-orthogonal roads. There's a guy at simtrop who tried recreating it. I'm not sure if he ever finished it. Good luck though. So far, it looks good :thumbsup:.

Really great. All updates look so natural. The way you put high rise and low rise next to each other. Also the empty areas in the city. Very good. I especially like the farmlands. The first time I see Dedgren's circular fields in good action!

Just the refinery could be better. Somehow it lacks realism. Maybe because of the random placement of oil tanks? Too much repetition in the refinery itself, I think.
