Named after the world famous Welsh poet, the Dylan Thomas Botanical Gardens is a feast for the senses, with a beautiful array of flowers, trees and herbs to tantalise the senses of smell, sight and touch. It was one of the premier landmarks in New Rhodesia, primarily housed in gorgeous Victorian and Georgian architecture.

callagrafx: Hello Matey!! Thanks for the praise, and da iawn for the attempt at Welsh, the only bit you missed was "Croeso i'r SC4D", other than that superb, and thanks for trying tho! Shows you make the extra effort. :) The Millennium Stadium Project, was me and steve working together, he made most of it, I just made the B.T tower. Despite FINISHING the project, in terms of modelling, we couldn't for the life of us export it. Both of us kept getting a "code 6", when trying to export the LOD itself, let alone the model. That was a while ago however, and we've since upgraded our computers alot more. The 3d files are still around, just time. Which leads me to your next question which was Cardiff City hall, I just never got round to finishing it. Sadly, i'm sure you know as a BATter, you get so tempted with other projects, you put others on the "back burner", I have so many projects on the "back burner" it's incredible. Maybe one day :)

two questions
where did you get that BBC broadcasting center and those botanical gardins?
one can loose oneself in LE for sure... we are going to have to get on DB to release that bat! The statue is looking wonderful as always...I like the new touches you've added and the plaza around the monument is well done. I was looking at your region map and wonder is the site only accessible by road or is there a direct ferry line from NR proper to the outlying site. I noticed that there was a NR Ferry in one of the pics above, so I assume that there must be a ferry line and we just didn't see the terminal in your pics. The customized ferry and cruise ship are very nice touches as well....till the next &apls

It is an association of over 14 CJ nations, inspired by the brilliance of the U.S.A's NASA. It is in the honour of Buzz Aldrin, Armstrong, et al, that this updated is dedicated to. This update i suppose, is the first in SC4 history where multiple CJ's have come together to devise and support an international mission to land on the moon. Greekman - I cannot remember for sure, the building, but it's on the stex, just type: "tower" and "highest rated" and you'll find it in no time. The gardens are my own LOTs, composed of beautiful props by debussy, BSC, Swi21 et all, just type in any of them in LOT editor and you should find some of their garden props. =]
Yoder Thanks for a great comment pal, indeed there is a terminal port not too far from the colossus on the same peninsular near a large car park, underground tunnel and modified monorail station. One the large tile area of the bay is complete i will be showcasing it, with a 2d map of course. :)

This forms part of a MUCH larger nuclear silo site in an undisclosed area of New Rhodesia.
Wow! I do believe this is the first missile silo I've seen in sc4 and it's a beauty to say the least. You did a marvelous job &apls of meticulously adding in the rivers, trees and rocks that makes the images look like photographs.
This is the first user-made missile silo I've seen in SC4 - i've had plenty Maxis ones in my own cities - but I must say these aren't bad, it looks like you put a lot of effort into this.

SOME BAD NEWS
last week, my primary harddrive failed (not windows, actualy hardware failure), I lost about 25% of my things from there, including New Rhodesia :'(
However, I did have a 3-4 month old save of NR on my secondary harddrive.
So, taking this initiative, I expanded the original region ALOT, and have started working on enlarging the city itself. The city centre, is missing development due to the hardware failure, so they have to be rebuilt. BUT, at least i didn't lose it all. :)

As soon as the dual carriage ways and motorways are where they're supposed to be, i can totally start building from the inner city centre, outward. Time consuming, but very much worth it in the end!
Blade, I was VERY lucky to have had any kind of backup and will be making it a pripority to backup more often. Thanks for the kind words, yes the maps took a LONG time, easily 3 hours for the first, it was especially troublesome finding decent quality images of the county shields, but i go there in the end! %confuso ;D

Nice harbour scene. I really enjoyed Sully Island. It made me think of a few places in Canada such as Patridge Island in Saint John, NB or McNabs Island in Halifax. Islands that are near settlements that have never really been "settled" persay, but have still served a variety of uses.

Very nice 6U...love he custom ships...you have so many creative ideas with NR. Personally, I'd darken up the texture of the ship deck, but the modeling is fabulous.
