This is my first MD here on SD. I showed my region on simforum.de before.
But now you have the pleasure to see "Nullabor County" too. ;)
How the subject says "Nullabor County" is a county with many different aspects.
In the west you have the ocean and in the east you can find big snowy mountains.
Near the ocean and the rivers you'll find "Nullabor City" and its suburbs.
The longer you go eastwards the more nature and agriculture you'll find.
Logically the region isn't finished yet. I've only developed a half or so up to now.
Notice: I don't cheat at all and I do not plopp the buildings!
But now enough talking here is an actual region shot.
Actually there are about 300.000 citizens in the county.

Really excellent work...that you grew that downtown is just amazing to me. Some great NDEX BATs being used as well, in very fitting places (e.g. the condos) However, my friend, I do have two words for you concerning your rural areas: BSC FARMS!! :D Keep up the great work, I'll be back for sure. :)

I think he put a nuclear power plant next to the university since many large universities have nuclear research facilities, and using the plant is the closest thing to that kind of building. At least I think that's what he was trying to do.
Anyways, great start! I'm amazed that the downtown is all grown, I don't have the patience for something like that. I also love the region view, you did a great job with the transition from downtown to mid-density to suburban sprawl to farms.

you have a great region to develop, i like the variety it offers. btw, the actual region view is very realistic (at least where it is developed)
the rural area looks great so far, i expect to see some closeups of it. i can see some towns within the farms, thats a great touch of realism in te region (i'd said that yet :P)

I love the rail lines, nice job making them look 'clean'. Thats the biggest headache for me in the game, blending things with the blank ground so that it doesn't awkward.
Very nice work as usual. I really like the park and the malls...those two shots have to be my favourites. Keep up the great work!

How you've seen in the last updates I've downloaded some fields and farms. TWrecks is working on some farms with Simgoobers textures but without other dependencies. :) At the moment I'm testing some of his fields, which have no farmhouse. Because in Europe you have many fields without any houses near to it. Sadly there are only 3 sorts of fields at the moment, but he said that he will creat some more. So in the actual region shot you'll see a bit a more colourfull landscape than the last time. :D

Everything looks excellent, I especially like the train running right behind people's backyards, very cool.
The suburbs with all the trees and train tracks look excellent :thumbsup:
love this suburbs, very well put togerther. The way the railroad is seprated to the roda is very clever ! Give me an idea ! and the concetration of fabrics just close to the railroad is very realistic !!!!

The second one (with a small church and cemetary) is simply beautiful!
Everything is clean and very well finished on your pictures. I like your work with textures, especially how you use the olive grass fillers, the same as along railways and RHW. This is the best way to avoid stupid triangles along diagonals :)
You don't use many kinds of trees, but there is enough of them and they harmonize very well with buildings and landscape.
Btw, which combination of sidewalks and street trees mod do you use?

Yesterday I realized that I forgot to show you some pictures of Colossos. :P ::)
Colossos is a commune very near to the downtown of Nullabor City. (region picture page 2 or 3)
The biggest part of the ports and industry in Nullabor County are situated in Colossos, but there is also a little "uptown" and many idyllic neighbourhoods.
This is only the first part of the city I'm showing you now, because I found so many places which I like that I have too many pictures for only one update. So for today no industry but more residental and commercial. ;)

@bobgleason: I have a No-Maxis-Mod in my PlugIn folder. That means for the R$$ and R$$$ no Maxis buildings, so there will grow more Bats.

I think it's a combination of the fact that a few buildings appear twice - but adjacent to each other - and that you have plenty of parking space.

The map's name is Camden named after the biggest town on the map which has about 25.000 inhabitants and a big industrial sector.

Cool pictures Manuel, the airport and the approaching ant taking off planes, but also of the residential neighbourhoods! The level of details is fantantic and refreshing. Look at that avenue in the 5th picture: it's crowded, just like every major road near a good functioning airport. Very well done friend :thumbsup:

Great intersections, especially the use of roundabouts with one-lane exits :thumbsup:

I am glad to see Nullarbour update again - it's always fun to look at your pictures. I recognize them for being from your hand from a distance - but I am not sure what the secret behind that is... What do you do that others don't.... :-\

Great stadium shot there, like the way you incoroporated the "Hopp Nullabor" and Devo 08 logos.
It's a shame results have not been good for Switzerland and Nullabor. In both games the team fought hard, but luck was against you :(
Still, with one game left the players now have no pressure, let's hope they put on a good show.
I hope that Zurich is having fun during the tournament.

The countryside looks very lively with the terrainmod you're using. I really like the shot of the train going into the tunnel.
Those were great pictures my friend. Glad you had fun in Zurich, I was there myself for a day during Euro 08, and I saw signs and people all over the place for it. Then I got into Berlin Central station the day after they lost, and there were tons of people with Black, Yellow, and red dyed hair, all sad :P
Your new photos look great though, really excellent. Such detail, such as the mud in the pig pen. Keep it up. I also noticed that train in sthe second photo, whoever made that set (Swamper I think) is spot on in detail. I took one of them yesterday that was set up and looked excactly the same with the GDR container (slang name for the engine) and regio double decker traincars.

I think you've made great use of the new RRP props and lots - they do look good in your MD. The sheep look amazingly white though (I know that's just the way they're made), maybe Nullabor has a sheep cleansing policy ;)
