Thank you, Luke.

Here is an update. Have started working on the housing for the stairs:

This looks amazing!  I'm very happy to see a sunken rail station, as we haven't had too many options in that category.  This looks to be the best of the bunch.  Great job!

Getron

Yes, really amazing . No doubt that we need more sunken rail station. Would like to see this one soon in my cities.  :D  ;)

I love it already! Great idea and wonderfully made (so far) I hope you'll make a standard rail version as well ;)

This is drop dead gorgeous.
I hear majestic music and a chior of angels when I look at the last pic.
I perfect addition to the game and I hope this means you might make more of this type of rail station. ;)

I guess I don't have to explain anyone why I came here ...  ::)

Great Idea! Not a common type but sometimes very useful - a way smaller version of yours is Göztepe on the asian side of Istanbul.

One thing you should change is the end of the platforms - they should fit to the radius of the track, not vice versa.

As for the final version, well, standart rail and Light Rail and standart + Light rail should be possible, isn't it .... ;)

Take care!

Bernhard

Thank you all. Glad you like it.

Well I hadn't thought about doing a sunken rail version.  :D
The thought about doing this station, is some years old.

Nardo: Platforms you say ? well haven't got around to do more than a mock-up of them.
Needed to "draw up" the big lines to get every thing to fit.

Beautiful! There are too few sunken rail stations available around, and yours has just the old historical touch it needs to feel right at home in a core downtown area. Great!

cubby420

Excellent. Its so nice to see something truly unique as well as beautiful under development. I'm very excited about this project and looking forward to seeing more soon. I'm still a little confused though. Will heavy rail be an option for those of us who aren't overly fond of light rail and trams?

cubby: I was planning to release this as a heavy rail, maybe a version combing heavy rail with glr as well.

An update:

Not much left to add except some more nightlights.

io_bg

Looks fantastic, however I think you should move the platforms closer to the tracks.
